If you could only have 1 (Beckham or McCaffrey)
buffaloboyinATL replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
I heard Cody Ford might be available. -
Khalil Shakir is just warming up..
buffaloboyinATL replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I 100% agree Chandler. McDermott is notorious for easing rookies in, and not putting too much on them, too early. He is starting slow with Shakir, and even slower with Cook, but both of them clearly belong. I believe Shakir's role will grow quicker, and he will become another reliable outlet for Josh very soon. -
Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
buffaloboyinATL replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, probably not gonna happen, but if it does, we need to put a clause in his contract, forbidding him from doing the griddy. -

Wow, that was a lot to give up for CMC for 1 year. They must be planning on signing him for at least 2 years, if not more. -
That has to be The Onion, right? No way that’s real.

Bucko or pal. They are interchangeable.

How did Allen not dominate in college?
buffaloboyinATL replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can understand how he didn't dominate, because he hadn't quite put it all together yet. What I can't understand, is how he was not more highly recruited by the major colleges. He had all, or most of the tools already, and you would think these coaches would have seen the potential, and want to develop it. There was a great interview with Chris Simms a few weeks ago, where Josh credits his accuracy improvements and consistency, to changing his throwing motion to "rotational", instead of over the top. He said that now, instead of adjusting his release point to throw higher or lower, he only has to adjust his arm angle, and keep a consistent release point. My point being, some Head coach, or QB coach, or, scout or Coordinator, should have seen all that potential, and offered him a scholarship. Of course, I am happy that it turned out the way it did, because if he did dominate at a major college program, we never would have been able to draft him. He would have gone #1 overall. -
First time I've seen that, thanks for sharing!

A Few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order
buffaloboyinATL replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
This seems more like what I saw. Joe B did his all 22 grades in the Athletic today. He had Milano as a top 5 contributor for the game. I did not notice any issues with him in the first half, but to be fair, I was not keying in on him when I watched the game. I only noticed every time he stood out, which was almost always for positive reasons, not errors. Top 5 grades: 1) Josh Allen (A) 2) Mitch Morse (A) 3) Von Miller (A-) 4) Tremaine Edmunds (A-) 5) Matt Milano (A-) https://theathletic.com/3709749/2022/10/20/bills-all-22-film-review-chiefs/?source=user-shared-article (link for if you have access to The Athletic) -
The Athletic Power rankings have the Bills, Eagles and Chiefs at 1-2-3, and then left 4 "vacant", and had the Ravens and 49ers tied at 5. They said they did it because there is a huge gap between the top 3 and the rest of the league.

I would love to have either one of them, as long as they don't affect the team chemistry, but if I had to choose one, I'd say OBJ. I say this primarily because he would not cost us any draft picks, and although he would be a luxury item, there is less risk for the potential reward. That being said, if Beane can use his wizard powers, and get CMC for a 4th round pick or something, that lowers the risk dramatically.

A Few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order
buffaloboyinATL replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was? That has to be a mistake. He was everywhere on that field, and made several tackles that saved either first downs, or substantially larger gains. Whatever grading system graded him low, must not take those things into consideration. -

Great write up Virgil. Definitely not a homer when it comes to Milano. He is clearly one of the best defenders in the league. I am absolutely amazed at what a sure tackler he is. He has made so many clutch, open field tackles so far this season, I have lost count. As far as Singletary goes, he seemed to be gaining huge chunks at will early in this game. I thought he was going to put up 200 yards, but they stopped feeding him. Side note: I was at this game and their crowd is definitely loud, but it was funny. The lady next to my wife, a Chiefs fan, kept trying to shush us when the Chiefs had the ball saying things like "don't distract them, they need to focus" They are apparently not used to visiting fan bases making noise. We obviously did not make an impact, but our players definitely heard us. I was 16 rows back, behind the Bills bench, and several times when I was yelling, Jordan Phillips would interact and get the Bills fans fired up. We had a great time! The Chiefs fans kept trying to use the "13 seconds" taunt the whole game, and afterwards, they kept saying, that's ok, we win in the playoffs when it matters... It was so fun to get that win and watch the smugness fade off of their fans faces. -
Titans/City Agree on New DOMED Stadium

You spelled DOOMED wrong. -
We were there too. It was a blast! Did you get there early enough to see Josh Allen’s Dad singing “Sweet Caroline”?

Fans greeting returning team at the airport (as we do...)
buffaloboyinATL replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
A bunch of us stuck around after the game last night and cheered when they were leaving the stadium and getting on their busses. The players seemed to enjoy it, and it was better than sitting in all the traffic leaving the stadium.- 85 replies

This seems like a good place to check out on Saturday. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-backers-of-kansas-city-are-ready-for-sunday-s-showdown

Sorry, looked like a cast when I first saw it, but maybe just heavy padding?

Probably too soon. That is a big cast on his hand. My guess is he is back after the bye, same as Tre.

Tom Brady Roughed Up Says Jerome Bogar
buffaloboyinATL replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the fact that Brady tried to kick Grady Jarrett like a little beeyotch after the sack. He does that kind of crap quite a bit, but that doesn't make it right. -
Week 6: Bills at CHIEFS 10/16 4:25pm
buffaloboyinATL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get the call, but I disagree with it. He did his best to brace himself with one arm while he was recovering a fumble with the other. He went from being a tackler to being the ball carrier. At the end of the day, I hate the Chiefs so I'm glad a call went against them, but I am concerned that the officials are impacting WAY too may games right now, often incorrectly. -

Lord I hate the Chiefs. sorry, I meant to post that in the Monday night thread. The sentiment is still true, none the less. -
I will be in section 136. I am planning on tailgating, but like the others above, not sure if there are any Buffalo tailgate groups or anything yet. See you all there.
