  1. I like that he is playing along with all the comments. (and staying in the headlines. He's no dummy...)
  2. Why is is taking so long to get him signed? I heard here that he loves football so much that he would play for free.

  4. Whenever I happen to be traveling on a game day, I always make a point of finding the local Bills bar, and it has never disappointed. I have always had a great time and met some awesome people over the years. They usually have good food and beer selections too!
  5. Although he did not display the athletic talent much when here, TO deserves honorable mention.
  6. Lol. Most of this is either fabricated, or wrong, including my supposed stance on Peters and Russ Brandon. The Bills don’t have a guy in their history who played for the love of the game? Uh…ok. If he is Philly’s version of Kyle Williams, why the hell is he going to help out their hated rival, in a season where both will be competing to win the division? It is my opinion that Kyle Williams would not have joined the Patriots, just for another shot at a paycheck.
  7. He doesn’t. He wants to get paid. Which is part of why he will just be ok.
  8. Well it’s about time they released it.
  9. https://www.audacy.com/wben/news/local/new-bills-stadium-to-feature-mesh-like-exterior is this it?
  10. You’ve clearly never watched CSI.
  11. Signed in and ready to go! Thanks as always for setting this up.
  12. But can he hold on Field Goals?
  13. We have 2 Aces and a 10, the Chargers have 2 Kings and a Queen. We win if it is a poker hand.
  14. Damn. I feel sorry for him. Started the year thinking about a Super Bowl ring, then had a pretty good fallback option with the Bengals, but ultimately, could only get on the Texans roster. Ugh...
  15. Apparently he is now on the Titans practice squad. Teams keep kicking those tires, but nothing has clicked yet. *Correction: He is on the Browns PS now. No new team to have regret quite yet...
  16. We will soon go back to not noticing the punter, until he shanks one or does something exceptionally well. Otherwise, he will become appropriately invisible.
  17. I think saying we stole him, implies that we somehow fooled him into this contract. I personally believe that he consciously wanted to make sure we could afford to put the necessary pieces around him to have a larger window of opportunity.
  18. I am happy that teams are not feeling pressured to match the ridiculous contract that Cleveland gave the serial molester. The Ravens will eventually end up having to give Lamar WAY more guaranteed money than they are comfortable with. His style of play does not seem conducive to long term sustainability. When his body starts to wear down, he will be impacted more than most. (but I sure he will be able to give them a few good years first)
  19. Yeah. We hid Da’Rick Rogers too, but then we forgot where we put him.
  20. Actually, I get it. My wife has told me multiple times that there is no way we will ever move back to Buffalo. I will get her to change her mind eventually. I would love to go back to Buffalo seasonally if at all possible. (as in leave in October or so, and return in April or so)
  21. Damn, that means they have to be signed to the 53 man roster, right?
  22. Statistically speaking, that is not actually true. The most accurate measurement to determine punt distance (purely from a statistical perspective) is Avg. punt distance. Other factors contribute to the net yardage stat, such as the punt coverage team may play better at home, and get to the ball quicker. All of that being said, I like Martin and will be happy if we sign him. Either way, he's got a good leg. and hopefully he is a competent holder.
  23. Yeah, but not by much. 43.2 vs. 42.6. Last year, his avg punt was 47.0 at home, vs 44.6 and his long at home was 68 yards, vs. 59 on the road. Those are not MAJOR differences, and may be common amongst all punters home vs away, but not they are enough to think he might get a bit of an altitude boost. Split stats on this link: https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/splits/_/id/15928/sam-martin
  24. I have not seen the breakdown for home vs away games for him, but it would be interesting to see.
