Bills restructure Ryan Bates contract
buffaloboyinATL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you both, I appreciate the information. @Ed_Formerly_of_Roch So Belichick controls the decision on whether incentives are likely or unlikely, AND the compensatory pick formula?!? -
2023 Extension? (Poyer/Edmunds/Knox/Oliver)
buffaloboyinATL replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall
I voted Knox, Oliver and Singletary. I also believe that if we don't trade Edmunds, Beane will find a way to make his contract work, and he will be extended. -
Bills restructure Ryan Bates contract

So I am curious. How do they account for things like performance incentives that are earned at the end of a given season. I assume that those count towards the cap, so do you have to hold the cap space at the beginning of the season, or do you have to make room at the end if you don't have the space available? (p.s. I'm asking you because you seem to be on top of the cap dynamics, so thanks) -
List of draft players Bills have met with
buffaloboyinATL replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
There was an interview one NFLN yesterday with James Cook, RB Georgia, aka Dalvin's brother, and he said that he has met with the Bills (and Giants). Daboll and Shoen are apparently following our play book. -
Source: Bills interested in Western Michigan WR Skyy Moore

Damn, that QB made him work WAY harder than he needed to. That being said; Great hands! -
Peter Schrager mocked Quay Walker to the Bills at #25 and said that his mock is based on what he is hearing from teams around the league, not who he thinks teams should take. That is the first I heard of us taking LB in the first round. I believe the only way we do this is if we have a trade partner for Edmunds. He also make the statement that he "guarantees" that Jameson Williams does not go any later than pick #15. He said many teams are very high on him. I assume most would be ok with Walker if we are able to trade Edmunds?

Do you take a corner in the first?
buffaloboyinATL replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would like to see 2 DB's and one WR/playmaker in the first 3 rounds. No concern regarding the order, I trust Beane to target the best fits for this team. (I said playmaker, because someone like Breece Hall would be great as well.) -
Only if we have a viable replacement in mind. Otherwise, it is all hands on deck for our Super Bowl run. Trading Edmunds was more attractive to me when Bobby Wagner was available.

My order of importance of those 3 as of right now, is Knox, Poyer, Edmunds.

GMFB Is Better Without Kay Adams

That clip is so awesome! Sanders was praising Josh and Diggs every chance he gets. I love it. -
NFL Arrests since 2000 (Bills #26)
buffaloboyinATL replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
All I make of this, is that it is a good list to be ranked near the bottom of the league in. Let's keep it up. -
Bills jersey number changes and new player jersey numbers thread

Is that Ray J Johnson Junior? -
With the team being built the way it is right now, I would defer and play an aggressive Defense to try and get the stop. If you can, Allen could go down and win the game, and if they DO score, you let Josh do his thing. My opinion would most likely change as the team evolves, but as it is now, that is my strategy.

Brady tried to engineer his way to Miami: TAMPERING!
buffaloboyinATL replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Normally, I would agree, but right now it seems possible. If Miami thinks they have a chance of winning the SuperBowl with him, they will give up whatever it takes, and if Brady wants to go, he will be able to force his way out. Players with way less clout than him have been able to push their team into letting them go, there is no way Tampa could stop the GOAT. -
It sounds like one of those fictitious team names that you'd see in a Disney football movie.

buffaloboyinATL replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't say it is automatic, but you have to admit that the path to the Super Bowl certainly appears to be a lot smoother in the NFC than it is in the AFC. I know a lot can happen, but there seems to be WAY more competitive teams in the AFC right now comparatively. -
Tyreek seeking a trade [Now: Traded to the Dolphins]
buffaloboyinATL replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Recency bias. Everyone is swept up in all these free agency moves and forgot how good Josh Allen is. No worries, he will remind them all soon enough... -
Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
buffaloboyinATL replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was impressed with the heart that the Lions played with under Campbell and would love to see him build something there, so a QB would be a great idea. Willis is probably a couple of seasons off from being truly NFL ready, but he has the highest ceiling of the class in my opinion.IF he draws Willis, I hope the give him enough time to develop him before they get impatient and fire him. -
Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
buffaloboyinATL replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It will take a lot of discipline for the Lions to pass on Hutchison if he is there, but QB makes a ton of sense. Willis’ stock is rising, but QB1 would still surprise me. I am starting to believe the Bills will take 2 DB’s in the first 3 picks, but I would not be upset it it went the way you called it. Great job as always. -
Brady tried to engineer his way to Miami: TAMPERING!
buffaloboyinATL replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was because the AFC teams had to play their best football against themselves in the playoffs, leading up to the SuperBowl. The Chiefs had to leave it all on the field against the Bills in the real SuperBowl which allowed a lesser opponent to beat them the following week to represent the conference. And all of this was before some of the best players from the NFC were added to AFC rosters this off season. The best team in the league this season will definitely come from the AFC, but they will once again have to work much harder to qualify for the chance to play the last game of the season. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. -
I say we have a big parade sometime in February 2023 in Buffalo. The players can ride around on buses, holding some kind of big silver trophy, and interact with the fans who line the streets. Then the parade can end somewhere downtown or at the stadium to celebrate with all the fans. I guarantee Bills fans will come from all over the country and beyond for this celebration. Then we can hopefully have the parade again in 2024 as well.

Looming Stefon Diggs Contract situation - What do you do?
buffaloboyinATL replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
If a decision has to be made prior to this season, I say pay him, which is the way I voted. It is all hands on deck for this Super Bowl run, and we are better with Diggs in the line-up. If the decision comes after the season, then there will be a lot of other factors that need to be considered based on how the season goes. If Beane has to find a way to do it now, I trust that he will. -

Smart lady. Deebo would be a good name too. I wanted Diggs or Beasley. I got neither. -
