  1. My Saint Josh Allen candle did its job.
  2. Beane sits at home on some nights, drinking bourbon and smoking a cigar, and calls every team in the league and makes low ball offers for their best players. Gotta have some fun every now and then.
  3. My guess is that he looked at it logically, as opposed to through the filter of a nervous fan. I still have the filter, thinking the Packers need to turn things around eventually, and Rodgers is good enough to figure it out, etc. Without the emotions of a fan, this game looks like an easy win for the Bills. I’m trying to embrace me logical side.
  4. That is awesome! My wife would never let me hang that in the living room, I’d be lucky if I got the garage.
  5. Oh, I must not have got the memo.
  6. Maybe not invited, but you are welcome. We always welcome well thought out, well informed discussion with opposing fans. Or at least we used to...
  7. That is awesome! The younger fans (i.e. my 3 children, ages 14-21) love the crazy videos that this group has been putting out. The team is smart to appeal to a younger audience. We old die-hards will be here no matter what, but that generation is more likely to become die-hards, by getting hooked while the team is playing well. This kind of success will set deep roots.
  8. You can tell that from these 2 pictures?
  9. Hopefully they have better drainage technology these days.
  10. I actually think more seats are covered than it first appears. This stadium is more vertical than we are used to, so it doesn’t have to come out as far as it would at Highmark.
  11. Not concerning to me. The young guys are holding their own, so there is no reason to rush him back yet. He will be ready for the playoffs, and that’s what matters most.
  12. I agree. Just answered the question at face value.
  13. Well, for some, the game evolves and they can’t keep up, for others, they are no longer willing or able to put in the work required to stay on top. Sometimes their team becomes desensitized to their style over time and they are no longer able to motivate them.
  14. Do the Patriots train their QB’s to be cowerdly a-holes or do they draft ones who already are cowerdly a-holes? Mac Jones kicking that dude in the nuts was so Brady-like.
  15. For mere mortals, true. But for wizards? 3rd rounder.
  16. Yeah, that, along with the Hall injury, killed my fantasy team.
  17. Get the hell outta here! Seriously?! He totally had me fooled.
  18. Your buddy sounds like a really crappy talent evaluator.
  19. Ha! Poor guy is bored and looking for things to do. That was great.
  20. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/local/documents-regarding-new-buffalo-bills-stadium-ready-for-your-perusal/71-45c3c9f1-756c-43a6-9de0-65818f3b8f20
  21. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, I am going back to read after I comment, but what are the odds that Beane is currently on the phone with Carolina, trying to pry away one of those new found draft picks, in exchange for Zack Moss. I fully anticipate this happening, I just hope he can get the 3rd rounder. #thewizardofBeane
  22. Very well written OP, you tell a story well. As far as the comparison though, since you pointed out that we tend to judge things by decades, I have to point out that we also judge QB success by Super Bowl wins. I am not saying this to knock Josh at all, I know that there are plenty of seasons left in this decade for him to get his, just pointing out that the win in 2020 puts Mahomes ahead for the time being.
  23. Sad that you had to say this was a joke. There was a day that everyone would have laughed at that comment, without anyone thinking you were serious.
