He’s a top 5 TE in the nfl with Allen. The bills have never had that. Crazy to compare him to Kelce but imagine Allen haven’t something close or that. Love Knox but he was never going to be that guy. But Knox as a number 2 and some random stuff blocking TE is a top group in the nfl.

How many of the top tight ends are great blockers? they are matchup night mares. If they get matchup with a d back, they can over power then in the run game. If they have a LB or S, they are a nightmare in the passing game. dude isn’t Lee Smith and that’s an awesome thing.

One of my favorite players in all of college football. His game against USC might have been the best game of any player all year, wish he was a better blocker but dude is an absolute stud receiver!!! The Bills took a guy I wanted!!!! And we finally took a TE. Love him and I’m so happy!!! (Would have love JSN but this is an awesome runner up prize). Allen will be setting the market soon enough. none of these qbs are a bargain and it severely hampers your team. That’s why, as much as some bills fans try to discredit him, what Mahomes did last year was absolutely amazing. He had the best season of his career after reading a top 3ish receiver. Was he thought? I mean I’m sure people will do the Jerry Hughes thing where they make his low sack numbers more impressive than they are. But his best season was 7.5 sacks. that said if they could float a 5th or lower and his knees somewhat check out, I would be on board. I think the knock is that he doesn’t have that extra gear that elite guys have and the injuries haven’t helped. And Washington is a hellhole to play for.

Kelly is the best qb in bills history (Allen will have a shot to replace him if he keeps this up). But are we forgetting how loaded they were? They had a top 3 RB and HOF, 2 HOF receivers, good TEs, maybe the best back up rb, a very good o line, and a good if underachieving defense. Next to the 49ers, they had the most loaded roster in the nfl during the 90s. Kelly is very good but I won’t consider him great. I was super young but didn’t Kelly cause the bickering bills? Wasn’t Kelly out drinking during the SBs? Didn’t Kelly not want to come to Buffalo?
