They will be in the same boat as us. I think the nfl either needs to qb contracts more in line wirh other positions or make the qb contract count separate. For instance if I’m Barkley making $10 million and seeing Daniel Jones’ giddy self making $40 million, I couldn’t live with that.

Does it really matter? How much more will it be? And nfl contracts are so fluid. They all get restructured and then you have to pay them the same. Every elite qb kinda makes the same. Except prime Brady when he took less than market value. Once you have to pay your qb, you are giving up like 30-40% of your cap.

This is going to happen every time a qb gets a new deal. Kinda hard to call any player making $45 million a bargain. and great for Hurts. He had gotten doubted a lot and just put his head down and worked and kept getting better. He was awesome in the SB. He reminds me a lot of Allen. that said, if you are other positions, this has to drive you crazy. Not because of Hurts but because of scrubs like Jones and Jared Godf getting these deals. It’s insane what qbs get paid compared to other positions.

It’s fine. This is the most boring off-season besides Allen gossip. I get the saying but there are a lot of garbage players on championship teams.

There is a bar on Elmwood that is filled with the best WNY (and the colleges) have to offer. I’ve enjoyed going out in Buffalo. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be Allen going out. prediction, he has a year to himself and then ends up marrying Britt. Sometimes it helps to take that year aboard before you start working full time. I read this quickly and thought Losman slept with Miller, which I’m going to choose to believe.

Love him as a player but not sure where he fits and not for the money he wants. He reminds me of bob sanders where he is so tough but he is going to break down because he’s too small to play like that. If any team is smart, they will google Oliver trade rumors and see he is thrown in every potential trade bills fans talk about. no one wants Ed Oliver for $10 million!!!

It still really bothers me the Bills have never had a top 5 TE. It’s also weird how we don’t considered a TE to be a number 2 receiver. My dream is someone falls in love with Washington’s physical tools and pushes Mayer down to us. We could do some amazing 2 TE sets and make us a better running team as well. The only thing I worry about is why didn’t he get more chances. I loved OJ Howard and he reminds me of him. He seemed sure to be the next dominant TE but he might just be more impressive on paper than the actual field. Could be wrong though.

The chiefs had one all pro starter and meh receivers. They had 3 pro bowl o line, the same as we did. Those Pats teams had Gronk and whatever. do the Bills need more firepower? Absolutely. But when your qb makes big money, you aren’t going to have elite talent all around them.

For a 33 year old rb, it would make a lot of sense. Collects a check while saving his body. Part of the reason he has lasted so long is he has never been the guy so he has saved a lot of wear and tear on his body. Todd Gurley was setting records and was out of the league by 26. running back is a wild position.

Things I learned about Murray: - he played football in Syracuse - he is the only rb who rushed for 500 yards the last 8 years - he is the Josh McCown of rbs the way he stays in the league when more talented guys burn out after like 4 years. Impressive for him. I don’t get signing old rbs. But he would be good insurance I guess.

For the Jests, they have just been so irrelevant and may have had the worse qb play in the league last year. So anything is an upgrade. They have a really good roster. But the longer this drags on, the better for us.

But it’s the first new girl you date after a breakup. You can’t admit you miss your ex, and it’s new & different, but deep down, you know this new one sucks too. There’s zero chance he would agree to that deal. Edmunds is a much better player that a bunch of bills fans want to give him credit for.
