  3. I do think it’s very important to remember the journey and not the destination. It’s also great that the bar has raised as well. But for 18 games, it was a hell of a season and I appreciate them much more as I get older (and more handsomer 😉). Sucks the way it ended but we are in the second best period of bills history of my life and I’m old enough to actually appreciate it now. we have fans getting mad that some people don’t think Allen is the number 1 qb and wanting the DC/ MLB of back to back defenses replaced (I still think it is crazy). So we have much higher goals than a good regular season. But man, take every game one at a time and enjoy the ride. Start remembering the 17 year drought and Losman vs Holcomb debates before you start crying too bad haha.
  4. I like Flowers. Boston College never has a good offense and no other threats. Their qb is meh. Dude is a baller and has a great attitude.
  5. That’s not 100% correct. He had 453 passing against Tennessee, 3 tds and almost 300 yards against Utah, and almost 300 total yards against Georgia. Also if you liked at Allen’s college game logs, he was pretty terrible against the top teams they played. I think Allen is a complete unicorn. But given how many of these “safe” dudes bust, you could be better off just hoping for the next unicorn. This dude is going to be boom or busy, nothing in between.
  6. Fair points and I’m not pounding the table for Richardson but you know there are other factors. There was a coaching change. Thus, they lose recruits. Also, a lot harder to learn on the job in SEC than the MWC. Richardson is pretty young and raw. After Toney and Pitts left, these Florida teams haven’t had a ton of offensive talent. Florida has definitely been “rebuilding.” I would normally hate thd Richardson prospect but after Allen and Hirts, if you get them in the right situation with the right coach, this could work. Like if Miami took him and let the season play out with Tua, they could be an interesting fit. But he could also be terrible as well.
  7. I’m not really arguing with you specifically. I know there is a cap on what we can spend on a backup qb. But I know we can do better than Kyle Allen. It’s too important to just settle for a guy because he’s friends with Allen.
  8. But that’s crap And thank god you aren’t the GM. The Eagles won a SB with their backup. The 49ers had backups set in and win games. We signed Keenum last year who has won playoff games. obviously it’s a monster drop off if Allen got hurt. But it’s a slap in the face to the rest of the teams and fans to not have the best backup they can (I do agree price is a factor). Hell, Teddy Two Gloves is out there still. He might take less to compete for a SB.
  9. Dareus was a beast when he wanted to be. Shame what happened to him. He could still be in the league if he wanted to be. and Richardson was the type of qb prospect I hated in the first round. But after Allen, if he goes to the right team and situation, who knows now? and I hate Wil Levis. I think he sucks and he’s older too. Don’t get the hype. But isn’t that what people were saying about Allen? Shoot, I said that.
  10. That sounds oddly specific and he probably is shot. I just think a GM’s job is to constantly try to make the team better. Why not bring him in for a workout?
  11. But that separates great athletes from regular people. You have to be overly confident. I’m sure he just thinks he is still young enough and sees awful qbs getting paid good money and knows his resume. but he should have someone in his ear telling him to just do a fake grateful for the opportunity and I’ll do whatever it takes to help the team act because it would help him get signed. People surround themselves with too many yes men.
  12. Agree to disagree. IT’s negotiations and a lot of rumors being reported. I don’t blame any player for getting every penny they can. Every other sport has guaranteed contracts. Why not the sport that has the shortest careers? if in a few years, the nfl has guaranteed contracts, will Lamar be a clown or a trendsetter?
  13. That’s why it’s if he is healthy. His shoulder was shot. It’s also more of what I think of Kyle Allen. I think he might be the worst backup in the league next to Peterman. Josh is a monster but we have been really lucky with him not getting too majorly hurt. I would feel better with Cam running a wishbone than Kyle Allen. JMO.
  14. The Bills win at least 3 SBs with Marino. Aaron Schobel is one of the most underrated Bills in history. Lee Evans would be Marvin Harrison with Josh Allen. I still believe in Sammy Watkins and CJ Spiller. EJ Manuel was ruined by Doug Marrone and Nate Hackett. we are going to miss Frazier and Edmunds more than some fans realize.

  16. Seems weird to let Edmunds go and replace him with a 1st rounder who isn’t a natural MLB.
  17. Huh? The whole clown thing is just a garbage way to describe someone looking for a contract. It’s a billion dollar business. Stop getting in your feelings about it. Worrying about another man’s money is clown behavior. Either he gets it or he doesn’t.
  18. In billion dollar business where owners make billions for being terrible (Dan Snyder is going to make a billion dollar profit for being the worst owner in sports), players who can be cut at any time when they get injured, how is a player a clown for maximizing their value? You can question his tactics which is reasonable but how does that make him a clown? also because something is reported, how do we know that is true? If you thought you were the best or one of the best at your job and someone you thought you were better than got a better contract than you, you would just be ok with that? I think you would be a clown to just be ok with that. He was picking qbs who his style is similar to. I do agree he probably should humble himself and realize he has little leverage now. But the pilot also was a decorated military pilot who won several awards before crashing those planes.
  19. Heathy Cam >>>>> Kyle Allen people hate him, and get it to an extent, but if he’s healthy (and that’s a huge if), he’s the perfect backup to Allen. Former MVP, played in a SB, was said to be a great team guy in NE. It won’t happen but I feel a million times better winning a game with him than Josh’s friend Kyle.
  20. The Ravens signed Nelson Agholar. They’re set at receiver now.
  21. Love Brown. Jake Bobo, wr, UCLA https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jake-bobo/3200424f-4255-6112-e781-5b2c8948bd2b Drake Thomas, LB, NCSu, https://www.bigblueview.com/platform/amp/2023/3/12/23635368/2023-nfl-draft-prospect-profile-drake-thomas-lb-nc-state-scouting-report-ny-giants-news
  22. Um, you should read up dolphins. Awful, awful animals and sums up Miami.
  23. I have no disagreement with any of this. I do think for special players you scheme up to get them the ball. Davis and McKenzie struggled last year. Why didn’t Knox get more involved? The Giants just traded for Waller. I bet they find ways to get him the ball (until he gets hurt in week 2). I really like Knox. He had something unimaginable happen to him last year. I just would like a true 1, scheme breaking TE for the bills once in my life. I think number 2 receivers are a lot easier to find than a dominant TE and I think there are 3 guys who could be that for us in this draft (Washington worries me a bit). I know it won’t happen but Mayer and Allen would be a buddy movie.
  24. Delusional fans on a message board???
