  1. It’s wild that a guy who has never played a down of football is like the highest paid person in the league. Is it like this for any other sport?
  2. I agree but who couldn’t be a successful nfl commish? Could anyone have handled the Ray rice, deflategate and other scandals worse? He has a job that you would need to be brain dead to fail at.
  3. Wish he was faster. Good tough player that I have nothing but respect for. He was like dollar general Thurman Thomas. If he only ran a 4.4 instead of a 4.7! Wish him well in Houston. and apparently he was loved in that lockerroom. Football is a tough business. Especially for running backs.
  4. I mean I get the mindset of you’re a former MVPs and there are a lot of garbage nfl qbs who get jobs (Henne, Gabbert). But this isn’t helping his cause. Obviously his shoulder is a major concern but teams want humble backups who don’t make much noise. I swear skein of these dudes just surround themselves with yes men.
  5. Can’t sneeze at a guy who got 15 tds in a season. Definitely a better pure rusher than DS but way less versatile. I still don’t know why it is so hard for this front office, who does so much right, to find a legit stud back. They have devoted more resources than a lot of teams. Eklar wasn’t even drafted.
  6. As a Cam fan, I hate that he came out like this. Be humble dude. If his shoulder is healing, and that’s a huge if, he would be one of the better backups in the league and I’d rather have him than Kyle Allen because he plays a similar style to Josh. But not if his shoulder isn’t right or he is going to be humble.
  7. Amazing how some fans hang on to one or 2 good seasons. Maybe the guy who has gotten 700 yards, including one with the SB champs and one of the best offensive minds in the nfl, the last 2 seasons just sucks now? what if I told you there was a place where you could get a guy who could be the next Diggs and it would be a lot cheaper than chasing washed up guys like Robinson or OBJ?
  8. He’s a solid runner. Solid pickup and will save Allen on the goal line. only thing I don’t love is that because he rarely catches the ball, does it make the offense a little predictable? I would love to just see a stud 3 down back next to Allen and see what they can do. Imagine if drafted the next Henry in thr 2nd next to Allen? but this is a fine signing.
  9. I think Bateman is talented but it doesn’t really matter if you don’t play. He’s missed 16 games in 2 years. He was supposed to be their one after they traded away brown. Dobbins is always hurt. I’m not even sure if they’re other receivers off the top of my head. It is not a talented group and the most talented players are always hurt. I actually think Davis is the perfect type of receiver for Jackson.
  10. Um, Hollywood brown was better with Lamar than he was in Arizona. Andrews was a 3rd round rookie with Lamar. It’s Lamar’s fault that Bateman is made of glass? this is just blatantly wrong.
  11. And I’m not going to call him an elite thrower but they aren’t helping him. Which receiver has left Lamar and did better in the new situation? Hollywood brown, who’s not a number 1 but was playing one, was a 1,000 yard receiver in Baltimore. His number went down in his first year in Arizona. Look at allen before Diggs. Much different player. Gets Diggs and it was like steroids. I won’t say Lamar will be allen throwing but the guy won a MVP with basically scrubs around him besides Edwards. The ravens have one of the least talented offensive groups in the nfl.
  12. I mean, I don’t agree with that. He played in a very pro style offense in college. and even if he could work in one offense, why not get him better receivers? They have our little to no investment into fixing their crappy receivers. And given they suck at drafting them, they should do a Diggs type trade. the ravens are a great organization but they suck at building offenses.
  13. I am the guy who never watches the oline and I think he’s been a bust. But I’m always a fan of getting distressed assets for cheap. When I become the GM, I am trading all my 6th and 7th picks for struggling former 1st rounders.
  14. That’s kinda creepy. Why is stalking people allowed?
  15. That definitely sounds like a St Joes dude. 😆
  16. Agreed. For the first time in forever, we have a qb who can elevate the players around him and not the other way around. Get Allen some cheap weapons with young legs. And multiple of them.
  17. You kinda need to because of the cap. If you are giving decent money to player now, they better return the investment. honest question to the OBJ people. Which scenario seems more likely: he plays the majority of the game (75%) and has a major impact on winning. Or he gets hurt and causes problems? I know which one I think because there is a long track record of that.
  18. But that’s kinda the point now. Allen deserves his money but we are going to be so limited going forward. Best strategy is try to move vet guys for draft picks and load up on young cheap guys in the draft and hopefully get the next AJ Brown.
  19. Him dropping in the draft because of a bong will remain one of the dumbest moments in history.
  20. Yet we have a 120 page thread in OBJ. It’s wild some people underrate Tomlin. He dealt with Big Rape, moron AB, and crazy Levon. He has never had losing season and has started Duck, Rudolph, MT, and Pickett. I do agree that it will be interesting to see how they do without their GM. But they will end up having a winning year despite all that. It’s what they do.
  21. Think about that for a second. Dallas who loves terrible people and had a big need for a receiver would rather trades draft picks for a more expensive player than sign OBJ. It’s wild how buzz one catch 5 years ago csn still bring you. Draft a guy who isn’t annoying, more physically talented, and doesn’t get hurt every 3 games like OBJ. Nfl contracts are so misleading. He is guaranteed $22 million. He has 14 tds the last 2 years. He is a really good number 2.
  22. Haha, it’s funny because he has to been traded for the most draft picks in nfl history. A few times, I think they were 1st round picks. So he is pretty valued. I hate them because they get talked about so much for such an average team but the cowboys are having a good off-season and have a stacked roster. Watch them draft Robinson from Texas too. He got suspended because of his juice!
  23. Good red zone threat. Not much else. If the Pats sign or draft a receiver (that’s what he basically is), they probably suck.
  24. I’m not going to say he will ever be an elite passer but the Ravens have done him no favors. They have had one pro bowl offensive weapons, Andrews. Their receivers have been some of the worst in the league. Gabe Davis would be by far their best receiver and people hate him now! The best one he has ever had, Hollywood, is tiny and a number 2 at best on a good team and they traded him. I guess I’m in the minority but I think the guy who won a Heisman and mvp at 25 is really good. I watching good qb play so I would love to see him in a situation like Tua has in Miami with fast receivers. It’d be a problem.
  25. People elect politicians who don’t even have geds.
