Still wanted a receiver earlier but nice pick up. I worry about him getting separation and WVU’s offense was gimmicky but he has excellent ball skills (?). I see the Nelson comparison but Nelson was a much better athlete. I think Stills might be the really good player who just isn’t good enough physically for the nfl but he definitely has a chance because he brings a different skill set here.

They had a top defense the year before Rex and had a top 10 scoring offense. We had the second worst offense in the nfl last year. Could they improve? Of course, but it’s way too early to state it as a fact.

Yeah, I think he thought it was a bad qb class and was losing Johnson. But he made a terrible decision. I’m sure someone pushed him that way.

Yes, I’m sure tons of college skill players with zero touchdowns (who actually played football so save Antonio Gates) go on to super successful nfl careers.

The roster Rex inherited was pretty damn good. I like some of the pickups but probably should actually see them play first. We are a 6-10 that hopefully is head in the right direction.

That’s the scouting report I read. Has a lot of good and a lot of ugly. I think he said that he sometimes plays like a 5 but with good coaching could be a 9. I don’t question them on defense though. They earned that.

How does their GM still have a job? That is one of the worst stretches in GM history - Head Coach he picks gets fired in a year; top 10 qb gets traded with a 5th for a 2nd in a year, and an extreme DUI. How many guys keep their job after that?

I think AJ Brown will have a nice career as number 2. I wasn’t a huge DK fan but he landed in a great situation and we will see him making big plays there even if he is inconsistent. And these scouts and front office people aren’t Gods. They make huge mistakes all the time. I think this will be a guy that will fall in category of whatever TEs of Bills past. I do hope I’m wrong but you figured out how to a guy with skills more than 0 tds. Especially after your big receiver gets hurt.

I’ll get labeled as a hater but yeah. I liked Watson more coming out than Allen and he has done nothing for me to second guess that. I’ll say Allen has better physical skills but Watson has just been making winning plays since college. But we have Allen and that’s why I want to get him more receiving help.
