  1. Would you say this if he wasn’t a Bill? ? not even knocking allen but Watson is very good and has shown a ton of evidence of this. Allen has had glimpses with great physical talent.
  2. Conversely, if you don’t like the pick, it doesn’t make you a whiner. It’s a message board not a cult. You don’t have to give back your Bills fandom if you disagree with something. And if the national media didn’t like the pick, the “homers” would trash their opinion and say how dumb they are. Its beyond silly.
  3. Watson. But I’m sure I’ll be called a hater. But he is doing what he did in college in the pros. He’s a baller.
  4. Yeah, people who are anointing Allen and Calling Watson might have want to review things because it means Allen would have to put up Mahomes numbers.
  5. I don’t think thecTexans trade him for less than a 1st. This is their SB window so why get rid of one of their best players?
  6. 52 tds in 23 games is medium to you behind a bad oline??! What are your expectations for Allen then because he will be hard pressed to do that.
  7. Agreed and that’s why he dropped. But with the depth, he won’t be the main guy and could develop. Even if he was just a red zone guy his first year, that would be huge value. Is his potential any any less than the TE we took? And at least Butler had a major impact in college. Sorry, just venting because my girlfriend hates the draft. ?
  8. Mahomes went 10th in his class. Watson went after that.
  9. I’ll go on record and would have rather had Hakeem Butler. Butler instead of Knox and Love in the 4th instead of DS would make this an amazing draft IMo. Hope I’m wrong.
  10. I hope I’m wrong but I would have rather had Bryce Love in the 4th.
  11. Just for me, Butler instead of our TE and Love in the 4th would have made this a homerrun draft.
  12. I thought it was a good deep class. There might not be a ton of stars but there are plenty of good number 2s with 1 potential if they get lucky. Harry, The Browns, Butler, Campbell, Butler, etc. that’s a pretty solid group.
  13. 2017 was a bad qb class they said. And everyone before the draft said while there weren’t a ton of 1st round receivers, it was a very deep class. I think folks are changing the narrative now.
  14. I always respect your opinion on things and this could be true. I would rather had Butler than our TE and Rb but obviously, it’s just my opinion. Honest question. Do you trust this regime’s ability to scout receivers?
  15. Maybe I didn’t post it right. I think he has the potential to be a number 1. Doesn’t mean he will. But that is what you’re looking for. He would fit a big role in our receiving core. We have a bunch of smaller type receivers. Last year, I hated the Ray Ray and Proehl picks because I liked ESJ of Notre Dame. Nothing was a given by there was no upside to the guys we took.
  16. 6’6” very physical after the catch. His hands are inconsistent.
  17. Well, I apologize Joe. I thought you have become strictly a cheerleader for this regime. I respect you being objective. And you are far from a hater. It’s kinda funny people think that.
  18. That would make me feel better though I think he only has potential to be really a third type receiver.
  19. Yeah, I’m confused. You called me a hater because I questioned some of their moves. Love the defense and o line moves. Don’t like the offensive skill players ones.
  20. What good QB doesn’t have a number 1 receiver? And technically, Gronk was Brady’s number 1.
  21. And he hasn’t exactly lived up to because he has no elite skills. Butler has questions but he has elite skills. He may not live up to it but I think he has more of a chance to be a number 1 receiver than Jones IMo.
  22. Did you just do a heel turn haha? Or is this tongue in cheek?
  23. And obviously this is all overreaction. Love Oliver and Ford. But I worry we are bad at evaluating receivers. I think we have a Tom Brady receiving core and that isn’t the type of qb Allen is. I would love to have a guy he could just throw the ball up to and as a big QB, I think he misses high. Size helps that.
