  1. I know a million of these have been done but just throw out some guys you like that you think will be good players or have great value: Harry, wr, AsU - just been on the guy for 2 years. He had a crap qb and just simply made plays. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/n'keal-harry?id=32194841-5265-4593-d716-d972ec2d4468 Butler, wr, Iowa State- didn’t have great qb play but is a monster. Plus, he likes Karen more than Pam on the Office and that’s a huge plus. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/hakeem-butler?id=32194255-5416-1833-e211-34b9abca1909 jalen Hurd, WR/ RB, Baylor - was 1,000 yard rusher at 6’4” at Tennessee. Transferred to Baylor and became a 900 yard receiver. Not sure what his best position is but he can be a playmaker somewhere. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jalen-hurd?id=32194855-5208-0933-a42b-f137c6bf565f Taylor Rapp, S, Wash - flat out ball hawk. We are good at S but this guy is a really good player. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/taylor-rapp?id=32195241-5050-5098-ef4c-235f382d663d Jaylon Ferguson, DE, La Tech - great career with a ton of production. Not the best athlete but some guys just make plays. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jaylon-ferguson?id=32194645-5216-8492-efe9-dfa1a1176b99 Who you got?
  2. Yeah, nfl GM and heart surgeon aren’t close to the same. Most of these guys get their jobs because they are friends with the right people (Bill Polian hooked up his som’s high school friends with NFL jobs; Todd Haley went to 3 colleges as a golfer but his dad worked with the Steelers). i think there are plenty of regular fans who could do well if given the opportunity to work in a nfl front office. Heart surgeon, not so much. Thanks. I appreciate it. And I hate the feeling. It sucks. But I like the person he is and he certainly is exciting. Trust me, I would love to be wrong because it means we finally have a legit franchise guy.
  3. You really are comfortable with our receiving core because I’m not? We have a very low end 2 (Brown) and a bunch of 3 & 4s. I mean you could hope Foster or Jones step up but that’s pretty risky thinking. We need a real number 1 type or at least one with size.
  4. Watching it on my phone with the old lady hoping she falls asleep (I’m trying to get out of the doghouse). It sucks because it’s normally a big weekend for me but you gotta do what you gotta do.
  5. I get this but why can’t an average fan not make a better choice than Beane or any GM? Just because you have a job doesn’t make you an expert. I loved JuJu and would have taken him in 2017. We traded up for Zay. That looks wrong. Plenty of people wanted Ngata instead of Whitner. People wanted Russell Wilson. Just because you have a job title doesn’t make you infallible. Beane was an intern who worked his way up. Props to him but it’s not like he’s Bill Gates.
  6. So if the Bills draft a guy like Simmons of Mississippi STate, who is on tape beating a woman, I should just cheer for him because he’s a Bill? I get your point point and I used to have the same mindset. I hated Allen before the draft as a qb prospect. So it’s hard to just completely ignore my worries just because he’s a Bill. But I will root for him to succeed because he’s a Bill but it’s hard to just completely forget the doubts. Same with a guy they pick this year (though I think QB is the main player that scrutinized).
  7. This is a family website sir! Yeah, who wants a bum like Julio.
  8. Basically my sources have the Falcons desperately wanting to trade Julio to the Bills so the 7th is just to save face for them. New balls would be overkill on our end. You ever see how shiny new footballs are.
  9. New ones or old ones? That could make or break this trade.
  10. That’s fair. But if Allen put up those stats in his first playoff game, I would have been fine with it because it was a playoff game. Plenty of QBs have crapped the bed in their first playoff start.
  11. He has 19 sacks in 60 games, can’t stay healthy, looks older than he is, and had a PED suspension. Just thought it was a lot of money for a guy with all that baggage.
  12. I would say him playing next to Williams would be a problem.
  13. Haha. I actually did like Trent Edwards for awhile. ? but I was never a fan of the Murphy signing. But normally, go with Stanford guys. If they fail, it won’t be because of lack of effort.
  14. I’m on an island but I thought Bosa is completely overrated. Living off his brother’s name and a rich kid who doesn’t need it.
  15. That would a terrible trade for SF but I would love it. I agree he would A great DT and I love Stanford guys (minus Trent). I would love to bring him in.
  16. It’s weird how some people rip Jackson when a lot of his criticisms are similar to Allen’s. I think he would be the perfect guy to develop behind Allen.
  17. I wanted to so bad. There are probably so many dudes though.
  18. Good idea. Defensive back in the first would be the only think that would upset me. They are great at scouting d backs so it would be silly to waste a high pick on one. An o linemen is snoozefest but I get it. I dont want the Pats or Fins to end up with Rosen. And I don’t want the Jets to get Oliver instead of us. Mans the worst nightmare of all is going to be trying to convince the old lady that the Nfl draft isn’t super boring because I love it.
  19. This is hilarious. I’m the sensitive one??? ?. You guys cry anyone doesn’t say how awesome Allen is. You guys twist stats to act like a guy who has struggled with accuracy his whole career isn’t really inaccurate. I point out a “comeback” victory against the Titans where he had 80 yards passing and say things like you need to look beyond the numbers! But yup, laughing at a qb who started a playoff game is pretty stupid right now. Hopefully Allen will be better than Jackson but he is closer to Lamar than Brady right now.
  20. Perfect project qb. He’s exactly who you draft in the later rounds.
  21. Not really. Sorry; I have a life. And I wasn’t the one who started all this. I just think it’s dumb to laugh at a qb who started his first playoff game when own own guy is far from a sure thing. But I guess when you’re a Bills fan, having a 52% passer allows you to laugh at other guys.
