Agreed. But say if Oliver and Williams switched college teams, how would both look? Williams is a really good player on an all time great defensive line. Oliver was the only guy in Houston. DJ is one of the best draft “experts” in the business.

This stuff is overrated. The Saints just whiffed on a bunch of picks. Recently, they started nailing the draft. get a true franchise qb and everything else falls in place. The problem is when have Joe Flacco, Ryan Tannehill, etc. you’re kinda screed them. The worst thing for the Bills is for Allen to fall in that group (though that could lead to a few playoffs berths).

RW is a top 5 qb. His oline sucks. His receivers are a bunch of whatever guys. And they run the ball a lot. In another offense, RW could have monster numbers.

Respectfully, I completely disagree. Who should get the billions of dollars generated from the nfl? The owners??? These guys makes billions for schools and old guys in college and don’t get a dime back. Now they pay a sport where your career can end on one play and don’t have a guaranteed contracts. I think Kaepernick fits project qb. It also depends what qualifies to be a project qb. IMO, Allen is a bit of a project qb.

Dungy was a really good college qb but he is far from strong armed. I don’t think he has a nfl future unless he switches positions. He’s a good athlete and tough. He might be a good slot receiver.

Would the Bills have been off having Hogan or not? That’s what I don’t get. No one says he’s a superstar but he was better than a lot of the scrubs we had the last few years. only Bills fans can think a guy who started for the Pats isn’t good enough for us.

Generally agree though I don’t think Matt Barkley should prevent you from taking a qb you like later in the draft. I also agree with this. First of all, the GM looks like a moron and probably should be fired if they trade Rosen. But if you keep Rosen and draft Murray, let them battle it out and let the best guy win. Then you have a cheap backup and potential trade bait. Unfortunately, the media and fans would never let that happen. The first sign of trouble with the starter, the media and fans would be calling for the other guy. Hell, we had qb controversies involving JP Losman and Kelly Holcomb.

I’ll bet anyone money that he will be drafted. How often have they traded up? They have one of the greatest qbs ever at the end of his career so that’s a completely different scenario though (same with NE though they always trade down). we have a young, unproven qb and a bunch of needs. We traded up for Zay (instead we could have had JuJu or Kupp at our original spot) and traded up for Edmunds (who I like but we could have gotten Leonard in the 2nd). It’s never worth the price you give up.
