  1. I mean every player should be but he’s got the LT job. He needs to show more growth though. And I love aggressive o linemen but I do wonder if the Dillard types are the ones you need in today’s NFL (still like the Ford pick).
  2. You’re reaching with this. Brown is not a high end 2. Come on. And I like Beasley but he only works with a number 1 and/or good TE taking coverage away. The Cowboys’ passing attack was awful before they got Cooper.
  3. Yup. The bar for a 3rd rb should be really high. It’s such an easy position to find. Tarik Cohen went late 4th.
  4. Antonio Brown went in the 6th. Colston went in the 7th. Thielen wasn’t drafted.
  5. Yeah, I went to check on it but OU’s defense sucked last year. https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/22/p3
  6. I hear you on UCF but Oklahoma had one of the worst defenses in college football. I think they were 114.
  7. I would have loved them. I’ve been on him for awhile. All time sack leader to go with Oliver represents much more value than a RB IMo.
  8. He sucks. You know who I like? Matt Miller! I’d give the the 3rd round picks a C but giving the Oliver one makes no sense. It was our best pick in years. You really are this sensitive? If a guy doesn’t love everything the Bills does, he’s a hater? Grow a pair. He could be wrong but it’s his opinion and I guarantee he doesn’t hate the Bills.
  9. Fair. I just think with so many needs and how many rbs they are always available, a small rb in the 3rd isn’t the best use of a pick.
  10. Ok, so you had nothing. I was genuinely asking if you had information. It was a guess by you. Don’t be salty.
  11. 1) Henson was the number 1 recruit in the country 2) and Brady wasn’t Brady in college but I think his career was better than most people remembered. He played in 23 games his last 2 years. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/tom-brady-1.html
  12. They traded up to get a guy they wanted instead of staying put and taking JuJu or Kupp. I’d not that mad about the trade up (not a huge fan of the guy that got) but it happens all the time. You trade up for a guy and there are better option that are available. They have a lot of picks but I look at each one as a potential lottery ticket.
  13. Yeah, the Zay trade up was genius.
  14. And if it was reverse, people would be trashing the national media.
  15. Some doesn’t like our draft, they are an idiot and know nothing! But if they like our draft, they are a genius!
  16. I would have preferred a receiver, especially with how it falls off, but can’t argue with this pick. Great attitude and Oklahoma produces great o linemen. Great name too. Could be a country singer.
  17. I just think some of their thinking is out of date. The Rams pulled CJ Anderson off the streets. I don’t get why you keep paying rbs good money and then spend a good 3rd on one with so many readily available.
  18. Fair points Doc and I hope you’re right. But 0 tds our of a 3rd round TE? After DK gets hurt? I really wanted a TE but I would have waited until later because there would be a good with good measurables available later. https://walterfootball.com/draft2019TE.php
  19. Daboll has been a bottom 5 OC basically every year he’s been in the NFL.
  20. Review our receiving acquisitions the last 2 years. It sucks. Like I said, they have been great on defense which given McDermott’s background makes sense. But even Belichick struggles finding receivers. But he has Brady. On the other hand, the Steelers always find top talent. and with how many bad GMs there are, it’s ok to question certain things. Beane was a marketing intern, he’s not Bill Gates. I predict a receiver drafted in the 3rd or later will have a really good year. It happens almost every year.
  21. I hope you’re right. But he was a huge recruit for Bama and couldn’t see the field. Don’t forget we cut him. Seems super risky to be so dependent on him. My fear is that we going to be here next yearcwoth questions about Allen because his weapons weren’t good enough. We are building a Brady type receiving core and Allen isn’t that type of qb.
  22. I addressed Knox in his draft thread. I get the physical tools but at some point, you need to produce. DK got hurt. Why didn’t he get better numbers? Also, with those 2 guys, he was probably open a ton. I love upside and some production. Counting on Foster, a year after we cut him, seems very risky. He was a guy who couldn’t play at Bama and couldn’t hold on to the ball here. I’m glad he stepped up but it seems very risky to just hope he continues that when he has struggled for 4 years to be consistent. Beane said that, yet traded for Matthews and Benjamin hoping they could be number 1. I’m sorry in what world do you not need a number type receiver? I guess I’d youre Tom Brady. But Brees has Thomas. Rodgers has Adams. Dak has Cooper. Mahomes has kid beater and Watkins (getting paid like a 1). Saying you don’t need a number 1 receiver is complete BS and it’s why our passing game has sucked for years.
  23. Again, I want to state I loved the Oliver pick and liked the Ford one. But man, trading up for this guy? Come on with the excuses. You shouldn’t have to make excuses for a 3rd round TE you trade up for. If he was so talented, why didn’t they try to get him the ball more? Especially After the DK injury? Also, with those 2 receivers, he had a lot of room to operate. There will be some TE with good measurables that you could get at the end of the draft. You could sign a basketball player and convert him. But we just got another whatever TE. I hope I’m wrong but if Butler goes before we pick again, I will again question this group’s ability to scout receivers. Safe to say, it’s been questionable at best. 1) Foster was at Alabama, not Bryant & Stattron 2) they cut Foster
