  1. Agreed. The 4th quarter stuff is great but if we didn’t have a really good defense, we might be out of the game by then. 4th quarter comebacks are becoming overrated. basically, there’s a could ways this could go. It could go the Bortles, Sanchez, Mitch T route where we ignore obvious flaws because they are “winning” and they never progress. Or it could go the Brady, Wilson, Big Ben route where they are game managers who eventually develop into franchise guys. I have my concerns about Allen but I’m interested to see how this season finishes up.
  2. I agree with your post but I think all of these guys could have fit Buffalo. There’s some narrative that Allen is a Buffalo guy more than other QBs. Not really sure why.
  3. Last year’s Bears was really good too especially because they have Mitchell T.
  4. Are people going to do this every week?
  5. Still fairly high on him but that was one of the worst qb displays I have ever seen. The sign of a franchise qb is how you bounce back next game.
  6. I don’t know what people expected. He’s been a bottom five OC most of his career. But overall, he’s fine. Nothing special but fine. I’ll give him a C.
  7. I mean they get the media hype because they go to the SB every year. I bet the Bills’ move weren’t as doubted as much during the SB years as they have been in the last 20 years. It is a good trade for the Falcons to get that much for him. He also seems to fit the Pats well and they have nine million 2nd round picks. Not a game changer but a solid pickup. His wrs kinda suck right now.
  8. Yeah, that int to td stat is insane. But it’s way too early for that and their schedule gets a lot harder. But it seems like Brady is shifting more to a game manager role again.
  9. Allen has a long way to go still. Not ready to say he’s good until he has more tds than ints. I know our expectations for qb has been driven to the ground for the last 20 years but I’m going to need more than a 75 qb rating before I say he’s good. But the potential certainly is there.
  10. I guess there is where I point out he’s averaging more yards passing than Allen and is on pace for 4,000 yards. Not bad for a running back.
  11. Good post and I agree. Seattle is only good now because Wilson turned out to be a top 5 qb. It could have been a Flacco situation there otherwise.
  12. I remember hearing that story a few years ago. Crazy. Watson also seems like a great guy as well. They choke every year but I do believe that have SB talent.
  13. I was wrong about Atlanta too. I do think injuries are a big part of it but there is zero excuse to have that bad of a season. Still a long way to go but probably predicting a team to go undefeated wasn’t the best prediction.
  14. Of course if all of our guys turn out to blue chippers, we will have some cap issues as well.
  15. Good way to look at it. Basically, it still really comes down to the qbs. At his best, IMO, Goff has top 10 ability. Obviously, he has some flaws. It’s still way to early to say one way or the other on Allen. I will say that as someone who has doubts about Allen, I would be absolutely thrilled beyond belief if he had Goff’s last 2 seasons. We all would.
  16. Again, Goff threw for 900 yards the previous 2 games and they went to the SB last year. They also started 3-0. It’s amazing the knee jerk reaction fans have. They lose a few games and now they are trash. Their talent is up there with any team in the league still. At least they got a legit good player.
  17. Kelvin Benjamin for 2 picks.
  18. You honestly don’t see the difference? Come on PTR. If they make the playoffs, the media will fall over backwards praising them. And still think the Texans and Chiefs are better because they have elite QBs. It would be very interesting to see how our defense matches up with them. But yeah, the AFC is pretty open. It’s kinda crazy. Why does the team that always goes to the SB get more love than the team that’s made the playoffs once in 20 years??? Haters!
  19. Wait, why won’t they score 60 and settle for 3? I’m fine with them trying to score 60.
  20. I don’t necessarily disagree but your team isn’t just built on 1st round picks. Kupp was a 3rd rounder. They signed Woods. They traded for Cooks, a former 1st rounder. They signed Talib. Plenty of other ways to build your team. I think it is a really high price but odds are the Jags aren’t going to get a better player than Ramsey with those picks (though I completely understand why they did it).
  21. I’ll take that bet. What you wanna wager? Avatar choice or something? That’s about as good of a start as any coach ever.
  22. Dude is so overrated and he’s so soft. But I guess as a 2nd or 3rd cb, he’s pretty solid.
  23. He’s 33, has a record of 27-11, and just went to the SB. I guess he could have won SBs both years. Some of you have insane expectations. Probably should have just drafted him instead of trading up for Zay.
  24. Suh sucked last year until the playoffs. Donald is going to start feasting again. Watch.
  25. I definitely won’t want a top 3 cb. I’d rather have Josh Dotcson, Treadwell, Darren Lee, Corey Coleman, Karl Joseph, etc. that’s from 3 years ago. I get it’s a huge package but Ramsey is a player you are praying to draft already.
