But we have no idea on this. Plenty of sure fire players bust all the time. -

The point is that no one would have said when they were in college that Fitz would have a better career than 85% of guys from Bama. But he did. Howard, who was an animal in college and I wanted the Bills to get (and I’d still take him), hardly looks like anything special right now. So all these guys on Bama, are just projections. And the reality is most wont become anything special at the NFL level. But ill out. Agree to disagree and you’re normally right on most things. Enjoy your night (or whatever time it is there). ? -

You know it’s a million times easier to win in college. Alabama recruits itself now. I do think Saban is a good coach but it is so much easier in college. And I think Xavier Howard, a pro bowler last year, could cover their receivers. -

Howard has 141 yards this year and go hurt last year. Again, I loved him but he hasn’t proven anything. At this point, Ryan Fitzpatrick has had the better nfl career. And that’s the whole point Gunner. You’re just assuming stuff. There is a very real possible that Tua won’t put up stats close to Fitz. And it’s silly to assume that. -

How? Those 2 linemen were physically dominant in college and already got hurt. More players from Bama would get hurt. It’s guys in nfl weight rooms who are closing in on 30 vs 21 and 22 years olds. -

This Miami team led Dallas at halftime. So you think Bama could have the lead against Dallas? and as a big Howard fan, what has he proven in the nfl? Maybe he’s not as good when he is playing against the men in the nfl instead of college kids. Man Gunner, I’m normally with you but this is insane. Boys against men. And know I want this game to happen. -

You were taking about them being grown ass SEC boys. Well, they didn’t make it a month before injury. -

The Fins head coach won a SB last year. In college, recruiting wins (though I agree Saban is a great college coach). They switch OCs every year and win because they have more talent than every team in college besides Clemson and maybe Georgia. And the far majority of those players will become nothing special in the nfl. Much less playing against guys who are physically more mature by years. I just dont think you comprehend how big of a jump it is from college to the pros. I just listed like 7 off the top of my head. -

But Kelvin Benjamin was awesome in college so he is gonna to be awesome in the pros right! again, There’s a better than average chance Fitz will have a better career than Tua. There is a good chance some random receiver will have a better career than the Bama guys. I loved OJ Howard but he isn’t exactly ripping up the nfl. You’re assuming a lot here my guy. Nick Saban couldn’t win in the pros so he had to go back to college. It’s just a much harder league and you aren’t just stacking blue chippers. -

It is but it sucks me in every time! They used to a game like this and it got cancel in the 70s. the problem is some posters are just assuming the Bama guys are automatically going to translate. Like Trent Richardson. Rolando McCain. Andre Smith. Dee Milliner. Dre Kirkpatrick. Every one of their qbs. -

You do realize that two SEC grown ass men olinemen, Jonah Williams and Williams on the Jets are already hurt right? -

They lost to college teams ever year but one when Greg McElory was their qb. Just because you were good in college doesnt mean you will be good in the pros, which I’m sure you know. And they would be going against grown men who have years of strength on them. They would get killed along the lines. -

How can you possibly say Tua is better at this point? Rosen was the number 1 recruit in the country. Tua has proven nothing and what if he goes to that crappy Miami situation and does nothing. -

How do you know they won’t just be busts like Parker? Because they were good against college kids? You know you’re my guy but I think you’re way off here. -

Saban had a 15-17 nfl record. Tua might try to throw an out that Xavier Howard easily picks off. Some college teams have huge advantages because they simply just get the best recruits. Rosen I believe was the number 1 qb as a recruit. Parker was a first rounder. Howard is a pro bowler. -
Agreed it’s stupid to take away plays good or bad but that literally is a play that really requires no skill. But whatever, it counts. And i feel like he has improved in his short to medium passing but there’s so much work to do still. I think he might struggle to ever be consistent week to week. Luckily, we have a great defense and he doesn’t have to carry the team. I saw this stat (from a parody account but I think it’s accurate) and it’s kinda crazy. https://mobile.twitter.com/SexyTroopLover/status/1181783638058381313 Allen has more wins scoring 14 or fewer points than Brees and Rodgers have in their career. Football is the ultimate team game.

This is so stupid but I would love to see it. Also, are we sure Bama is even the best college team yet? -
What are we missing offensively?

Besides John Brown, this is a slow offense.
