  1. High pick qb, playing on a team with a great defense, and winning games. Jets fans would just say he wins but ignore the overwhelming evidence that he was along for the ride. He would have “comebacks” but it would beecause he was terrible all game and the defense kept it close. Long way way to go to see that for Allen and I think he is more physically gifted.
  2. Oh yeah for sure. But that shovel pass is the one play most fans could make. Hell screens and slants have been difficult for our qbs to complete over the years.
  3. We scored 14 points. Yup and that’s kinda my point. I forgot the undrafted guy last year from SF who would have monster games last year. Why can’t the highest drafted guy in Bills history? and I get it. We’re winning. I just want to see a complete game from our potential franchise qb.
  4. And people don’t think he’s their number 1. He is a really good 2 or 1B.
  5. The funny thing is Reid can somehow not screw it up and win a SB, he will go down as a great coach. It’s crazy for a game or 2 can do for your legacy.
  6. It’s called the QB stat padder.
  7. I mean we know how Sanchez turned out but he went 5th overall and had similar numbers to Allen. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SancMa00.htm I think Philly will be a nice test for him. They are struggling a bit but still have a bunch of talent.
  8. I generally agree. However, it would be great to see a monster game once against a good team from Allen. This feels a little Mark sanchez like. And that’s fine because I love a playoff run but it makes me nervous long term.
  9. Honest question: if Mayfield or Mahomes are the Bills qb, what’s our record? Any different? And you can never know but I bet we beat NE with Mahomes.
  10. But you were kinda putting down what Mahomes is doing. He doesn’t have his LT, pro bowl C, McCoy, Hill, Watkins have been hurt and he’s still producing. Also, his defense is ? so he is under crazy pressure to carry them. imagine if the Bears drafted him.
  11. 273 yards would be Allen’s career high and it was against a good team in Houston. But it I guess he set the bar so high so expectations are out of wack.
  12. So our number 1 receiver is a guy who averages 600 yards per season?
  13. Well SM has won 1 challenge out of 12, so maybe he shouldn’t challenge anything. ? as someone who hates complaining about officials, it’s really bad this year. And it slows the game down in painful ways. It’s really hard to get non fans into it and I’m trying!
  14. Miami is so, so, so bad but that is such a crazy line. We could easily shut them out though.
  15. That was the most Chargers game ever and I called it. Fall behind by a ton, have a crazy rallying, only to lose in the end. If they had fans, they would be so depressed. Sadly, it sums up Rivers’ career. Just kinda falls short. Sucks because he is a really good qb.
  16. Love your enthusiasm but you are IMO completely overrating Duke and Brown.
  17. Such a confusing take. And even if somehow made sense, how much different is KC than Buffalo? Why is the guy from California (Allen) more of a Buffalo guy? Jim Kelly was from Pittsburgh and hated the idea of coming to Buffalo. Stevie Johnson was from Oakland and loved Buffalo (though to some, he wasn’t a Buffalo guy).
  18. I tend to agree AT is the better all around receiver. And to think he went Undrafted and was just a local guy for them. Yeah, that’s a good point. Personally, I’d tell the play to shut up and play. Then you can trade them in the offense. Diggs benefits from playing too. but I’m sure it’s all water under the bridge now.
  19. The saying is more qbs are ruined than made. I know people hate him but Josh Rosen literally was given no chance to succeed. I have questions about the offensive talent around Allen but he has the huge benefit of having a great defense so he never really has to carry the team.
  20. What does this even mean? Some of you must have grown up in a much different Buffalo than me.
  21. A lot of people do this a lot but you don’t have to always compare players. They benefit from playing with each other. Good offenses have multiple threats. It’s why Sammy (it’s sad he is made out of glass) got $16 million. John Brown would be a more dangerous receiver if we had another legit threat across from him.
  22. Yeah, I’m kinda confused of the point the OP was making. Kinda makes me feel worse.
  23. I was there in like April and they didn’t have a tv. Good little spot though.
  24. Still never got why a team with SB hopes was going to trade one of their best players in the middle of the season. And i got Diggs for Greg Olsen 2 weeks ago in fantasy. ?
