  1. I would have rather had McCoy than Gore in our playoff game.
  2. Yeah, I agree. It’s about as even as I can remember. I want KC because I always felt Reid was underrated and I love Mahomes (but Hill is human garbage). But it does always seem like the really good defensive team beats the high powered offense in SBs. I also am starting to like the Jimmy G overs and MVP props. He has gotten killed because he hasn’t done anything and I can see them letting him make some plays to shut people up.
  3. But his is hilarious. All you used to do is talk about Reid is a completely overrated coach. And maybe a smart offensive coach should have benched Gore and his 2.8 ypc against Houston. someone else pointed out it’s probably the 3 fumbles that got him benched. It’s crazy because it always seemed like he should have fumble much more with the way he carried the ball. oh well. Bills fans can watch the game and talk about how much Watkins, McCoy, and Ragland suck. Just like with Gilmore last year. And Darby and Bradham the year before.
  4. I’m definitely in favor of 2 wrs (maybe in the 2nd and later after going pass rusher in the 1st). I legit don’t trust their abilities to evaluate receiver at all so might as well take a bunch of chances. So was Peyton Manning. So that means he will be an all time great. The Tunsil drop was so stupid. I was in charge, I would have drafted him 1st overall. We just used to use snow hats to cover our faces. The gas mask is genius.
  5. I never got this. People used to do it with Favre? Dude loves to play and teams still will pay him a lot of money to do so. He’a pretty healthy. I like seeing great players play. I mean personally, I would have retired years ago. But for this dudes, retirement probably sucks. I wasn’t close to his level but I just remember after my last college game, it just hits you. There is no sport that compares to a football game. When it’s ever, you realize you will never get that thrill again. It sucks.
  6. This makes no sense. McCoy, the 32 year old backup rb, had the same numbers as the Vikings 21 year old backup rb, so that means he’s washed up? I mean he’s not McCoy but a guy who’s washed (Gore) would average like 3.2 ypc or whatever. i really don’t care either way. I think McCoy could be a major scumbag but he is a borderline HOF Rb and has a chance to get a ring. Things could be worse.
  7. Will you be refunding us if these lose? Because I’m betting my house on this because I trust you so much. ? I kinda like the over 2.5 sacks for SF. Also, Cousin Sal always does an insane bet and it’s Blake Bell, backup KC TE, first reception over 1.5 yards!!! And the Gatorade has to be red, right?
  8. Yikes. I feel like a team should face charges if they give him a contract.
  9. He averaged 4.6 ypc this year.
  10. Thanks for that explanation. I probably shouldn’t admit it but whenever I played a sport and I thought there was a guy worse than me who was playing over me, I struggled to support them and won’t mind if they played bad. We might be splitting hairs, but I think the Kelly stuff is way worse. Could you imagine Tom Brady getting hammered during SB week? We beat the Titans without that bad karma. RJ was awful in that game. but I guess it’s finally time to move on haha.
  11. Guaranteed I was young for this, but what did Flutie do that was worse than the starting qb calling out his LT and having Thurman Thomas then call our Kelly? Or getting hammered all SB when you’re the supposed leader of the team? Yeah, RJ crushed it. It’s hilarious that the people who bash Flutie always fail to realize the team and offense got miraculous worse when he didn’t play. RJ sucks.
  12. I think you overstate things Bill. I would agree that the 2014 team is possibly the best team of the drought and I would favor them over the 2017 and 2019 teams. That was a loaded team. and Whaley’s record after 3 years of inheriting was 23-25. McBeane’s through 3 years is 25-23. Next year Is a huge one for them. Many great moves on defense, Some real questionable ones on offense.
  13. Through their first 2 seasons, Sammy (playing with EJ, Orton, and Tyrod) had 100 less yards and 3 less tds than Julio. He played in a crap offense with bad throwing qbs. When healthy, he is really good. but of course, it’s hard to justify trading up for a non qb (of course the new regime has already done this multiple times). It’s also funny for how bad Whaley is, it seems like a bunch of guys he drafted have played in SBs.
  14. The Wasted Open is amazing. I highly recommend it. It actually makes golf fun.
  15. Kelly refuses to come here and single handedly straight the bickering Bills which almost destroyed the SB teams. He also was wide reported to be party during SB week (say what you want to about Brady but he would never have done that). There are almost millions of awful Kelly stories. Flutie was an angel next to him. The hate he gets is so dumb.
  16. Rodgers “lost” playoffs games where his defense gave up 51, 37, 45,44, and 37 points. Better team, he has a few more rings. You’re splitting hairs when comparing them but Brady always had a much stronger defense and Manning was awful for his second SB run.
  17. As someone who was far from a Taylor fan, the hate he gets so freaking stupid. Why? If they want to keep playing, why shouldn’t they? Brees was the 2nd ranked passer in the nfl. Brady, in a “bad” year, would had one of the best seasons of any Bills qb in franchise history. Rivers, probably the worse of the group almost threw for 5,000 yards. these guys aren’t what they were but they are still better than the far majority of qbs. I like good qbs and there aren’t enough of them. and there is zero way the Saints are ever going to make Hill their full time starter. He was slightly mediocre in college. He’s not close to a good enough passer to ever be a full time qb.
  18. 1) overspending in FA is stupid anyways. You build through the draft and supplement your roster with free agents 2) how many times have we not gotten a FA because they didn’t want to come to Buffalo? I think it is a lot more rarer than it is made out to be. By this logic, Miami and SD should have been FA destinations and they haven’t been. 3) as others have said, if they don’t want to come to Buffalo because there aren’t enough clubs or whatever, it’s a player you don’t want anyways. I think fans and media completely overthink this stuff. We have struggle for years because we haven’t had a franchise qb. If you get a legit franchise guy who wins, players will come. It’s not rocket science.
  19. Yeah, RJ killed it that day. 10-22, 131 yards, 64.8 rating, 1 safety, and 1 lost fumble. He really did his job. Contrast that with that loser Flutie. 21-36, 360 yards, 1 td, 1 int, 90 rating. RJ is a cupcake. And as someone who has a family friend who knows him well, all he did was talk about how much he hated Buffalo and how miserable he was. He sucked. I was excited when we hired him. I have never been more wrong. He destroyed one of the best defenses in the NFL. But I love seeing his bloated self on TV talking about how he shut down Brady. He is so delusional.
  20. Some of you are so sensitive. Of course he’s happier now. He played in a high school offense when he was here. It was a joke. He also had people questioning his toughness so he he rushed back too quickly from a foot injury that has never really healed. watkins didn’t have the career he was expected too. Yet, he’s been on the best offenses of the last 3 years, made the playoffs every year since leaving Buffalo, and is now playing in SB. And if you want to blame anyone, blame the media for baiting him with those questions. He really caused no problems here so I don’t really get the hostility. But no one wants their ex to be happy I guess
  21. I’m pretty sure he is better than Gore. But maybe his ego couldn’t handle not being the man. Still insane how we didn’t use DS more.
  22. LA loves celebrities. And honestly, the Chargers might be more talented than the Pats right now on offense. and I respect Rivers but he was part of the problem. The Chargers were a very predictable team. Fall behind or start the season bad, come back in a game or get back in playoff contention, Rivers throws an int to end the game/ season.
