  1. Things to run about the draft process: he was considered a very safe pick.
  2. Well you’re generally right but since receiver is such a dependable position, good ones can be found throughout the draft. The Steelers rarely draft a receiver high (I think JuJu is the highest One they have drafted in a long time) yet they always find studs. But that’s again based on other things besides the receivers talent. Like if Diggs got drafted by us, he’s not putting up the same stats. I think Corey Davis is good but got stuck with Mariota. That’s actually a guy I’d explore trading for.
  3. Great point with Thielen. Just like Brady, he’s just passionate. Diggs does it, he’s a problem and a “cancer.” and I don’t question the talent of Diggs but I don’t know if that’s what we need. I certainly take him if the price is right. But we still need a big receiver if we got him.
  4. What a nice guy haha. Makes a lot of sense. I’m actually impressed he got paid that much. It’s Science bro.
  5. This is where I tend to lean too. The homeless guy who coaches them doesn’t care about their long term future. It’s amazing how many coaches get fired after a year yet this guy is entering his 3rd season. He’s terrible and just looking at him depresses me.
  6. But isn’t that the point. I think a lot of the doubters would have felt much better about Allen if he was more of a dominant college player. College production doesn’t guarantee anything but lack of dominance can be a red flag, especially for a real high pick. Clowney had like 3 sacks his last year in college. While he has become a good player, he is hardly a game changer pass rusher.
  7. I want multiple punters.
  8. Not sure about the burbs but there is a real estate boom in Buffalo. if I was an established guy, I’d buy a place near Delaware park.
  9. He was a great draft pick. Tough dude. My friend was dating a girl who was really good “friends” with Nigel (she had features that athletes would like). He loves weed. And if take him back. I like having tough guys on the roster. He would have went after Gronk after that White cheapshot. Those 5 games Lee plays would be huge. Dude is not leaving Dallas.
  10. Back in my day, punters had a flattop, kept their head down, and only spoke when talked to. I like my punters like my women - bland and unexciting.
  11. We traded for Jordan Matthews and Kelvin Benjamin. We also traded up for Zay Jones instead of staying put and taking JuJu or Kupp (Beane wasn’t here yet). they have been bad at the receiver position.
  12. More evidence how crazy Antonio Brown is. He shone how had a problem with Mike Tomlin. I bet he could write a best selling book one day. They covered up a lot for some of the morons they had.
  13. EJ played 4 games and was 2-2. They ended Peyton’s td streak and beat Aaron Rodgers without any offensive td. They would have beaten last year’s team but I digress.
  14. I always want big guys for qbs who aren’t the most accurate. Brown andcBeasley were awesome this year but because of their size, they can get take away. so hopefully next year when Allen throws into double coverage, it will be to a Claypool or Pittman instead of DiMarco.
  15. Man, he looked slow last year. And that was playing with a mobile quarterback who opens up run lanes. Life of a running back in the nfl sucks. They need to get every cent when they can because they age fast.
  16. Not to sidetrack this but look at that 2014 roster. It was arguably the best team in the last 20 years. Whaley isn’t close to as bad as he is made out to be here.
  17. Well said. I don’t think anyone should use it. But there seems to be way too much if they can use it, why can’t I? good rules to live by: treat people the way you want to be tried and don’t use slurs. Seems simple enough. And good on tomlin who got called the n word by some ignorant fan before. He seems like a great coach and leader.
  18. I guarantee he believes he is the victim, he’s done nothing wrong, and everyone is just out to get him. It’s a go to move for a lot of people now.
  19. The best way I heard to view your receiving corps is like a basketball team. We have a couple of good guards (Brown and Beasley) but we lack a center and power forward. In a perfect world, we get a pass rusher and 2 receivers. I’m a big fan of Claypool and Pittman and they should be there in the 2nd. We badly need some size.
  20. You’re giving McDermott way too much credit. Mike Tomlin looks like Gandhi for keeping those maniacs together as long as he did. that’s why I never understood our interest in him in the first place. We were just a lesser version of Pittsburgh. Why would he have been good here? this dude doesn’t belong in the nfl. He’s not sorry. He probably look at his bank account and record “sales” and realized he needs to do whatever he can to make money because he’s going to go broke. I pray other team signs him and he does the same exact thing. Why is he even being brought up? And if Allen has a 4 td to 1 int ratio with Kerley as his best receiver next year, we build a statue for him.
  21. It’s so funny that Receiver is the one position they really struggle to scout accurately. I know he is the devil but it does make what Brady has done so much more impressive. Besides Moss And Gronk , I don’t think he’s played with one HOF skill player.
  22. I think receivers being busts is a lot different than other positions. It is the most dependent position in football. People talk about what a mistake Sammy was with OBJ and Evans. If those guys were on the Bills back then, they won’t be the same player. this regime has a lot to prove on recognizing receiver talent. But more than anything, it is depend on Allen taking the next step as a passer and an offense that will allow him to do it.
  23. I think a lot of programs do this. It’s 44 for Cuse.
  24. You said all he cares about is money. Which he should. Dude is a baller for a crap team. He should get every cent he can.
  25. He was just in same podcast episode of Pardon My Take with Josh Allen. ? you can never have enough good d linemen and he’s really good (pretty funny dude too). But there no way he’s coming here.
