He also had people questioning his toughness so he he rushed back too quickly from a foot injury that has never really healed. watkins didn’t have the career he was expected too. Yet, he’s been on the best offenses of the last 3 years, made the playoffs every year since leaving Buffalo, and is now playing in SB. And if you want to blame anyone, blame the media for baiting him with those questions. He really caused no problems here so I don’t really get the hostility. But no one wants their ex to be happy I guess

LA loves celebrities. And honestly, the Chargers might be more talented than the Pats right now on offense. and I respect Rivers but he was part of the problem. The Chargers were a very predictable team. Fall behind or start the season bad, come back in a game or get back in playoff contention, Rivers throws an int to end the game/ season.

Honestly, this year should tell us one way or another. On paper, it is a much, much tougher schedule. What I want to see is if the defense slips, and given the competition, it may, Allen carry this team. I still have some questions about that. He has shown flashes but never consistently.

I could argue some of those guys did have better years but Flacco and Duck are pretty awful. Probably should check those numbers again if Duck isn’t last on your list.

If he ever has to be a full time qb, he will flop so bad. He is a good Gimmick player and I’d welcome him on a team for the right price in a part time role. But it still is crazy the Saints take one of the greatest qbs ever to play him. Speak for yourself. ?

He just got himself fired. I actually think he’s not a bad head coach but he has way too much power. It’s too hard of a job for one person. I think defense is a lot easier to strengthen without high picks than offense.

Are we sure Gore had a better year? He averaged 3.6 ypc and 2 tds. Shady averaged 4.6 ypc (I m honestly shocked by that) and had 4 tds. I don’t know if there is more to the story but when given carries, he’s actually been fairly productive.

When I win the presidency as a member of the newly formed American Party, one of my first act’s will be making the Monday after the SB a national holiday and calling it American day. Stafford and Rivers aren’t close to Mahomes’ level. In his 3rd year in the league, he is the best qb in the game. At their very best, MS and Rivers are fringe top 10 qbs. Plus, PM is on a rookie contract. but obviously, you need more than a qb but it’s so big. And there are like 5 who can carry a team and PM is definitely one.

Yeah, the guy averaging 100 yards/ postseason game the last 2 years isn’t a factor at all! get the stud qb and everything else falls into place. Hill slipped because he’s human garbage. I’m not sure good Kelce was in college so that is awesome value. But everything other position can be filled out without using major draft picks once you have the star qb.

Can’t believe guys only give 70% effort during the regular season! I love football and I watched maybe 2 minutes. But what really matters is the skill competition during the week! It was pretty awful on the 2 minutes I watched. I saw Fletcher Cox return a turnover for a long td and it just seemed agreed they would let him get a td. All all star sucks but football is so hard because the chance of injury is so high. I used to love the pro bowl when I was kid to see all the great players. I think it still is cool to get all these great players together but there has to be a better way to do.

Well this thread aged well. I’m shocked he was given the Pro Bowl MVP after his throwing performance in that competition. It’s almost like it didn’t matter at all.

You type like a simple minded child. Do some posters even know how pro football teams travel? As Kirby said, they are in the city for a night. They go out to dinner and stay in a hotel. so again, I never got why people care what stupid people say about their hometown if they like it. And 2, this is the most pointless survey ever because nfl teams literally do nothing when they are on road trips. but betting tip. Bet on the Miami Heat on any weekend home game. You’re welcome. No offense man but I just hate people bashing cities. Newark ain’t in great shape but a lot of a lot of people have pride in it. And I’ve had some amazing experiences in Brooklyn. It’s all about your attitude. I generally find people who talk about how much a place sucks tend to be losers. Put me in Alaska and as long as it has a bar and a couple of cute women, I will have a better time than a lot of people in Hawaii. It’s a mindset.

Literally, this is the dumbest thing ever. First of all, who cares if a player likes coming to Buffalo? 2nd, they are like in the city for a day. 3rd, as someone who’s always had a love hate relationship with Buffalo, without exaggeration, this is the greatest Buffalo of my lifetime. Great owners, new things being built everyday, the Bills making the playoffs, a rap group that just performed on Jimmy Fallon Talking about bricks, best tailgate experience in pro sports. At this point if you don’t like Buffalo, I couldn’t two ? and it’s your loss. If we didn’t have crappy weather, it’s my favorite place on earth and where is out of Town Buffalo people go on vacation. I generally agree with all of this. That first half of the Texans game, given the stage, was the most impressed I have ever been with Allen. There were some crazy moments in the 2nd half that kinda left me with those some questions, but I didn’t hate his game. I just need more and more consistency. I just felt Jackson is one if those guys people love to bash. All I know is I’ve seen a guy who consistently seems to dominate no matter what level he is on. I believe Allen has the better arm but when you look at their careers, both in college and the pros, Jackson has been the much better player. Hopefully Allen will get there. But I just think this is just people trying to right about a guy in literally one of the dumbest situations ever. And feel free to call me out if I freak out about a preseason game or practice in regards to Allen. Have a good one. ? Haha. Keep it coming. Clearly the guy talking about the MVP is the delusional one and not the ones talking about a pro bowl competition. I mean he wasn’t good in the second half. I know you make every excuse for him but he wasn’t. That said, he had some good moments and some terrible ones. harder schedule next year (on paper), could have some losses in defense, hopefully add some weapons, and hopefully he takes a step forward. We will see. But what will really matter is how he does in the pro bowl accuracy contest. Then I will determine who good he is.
