  1. I really don’t get why people think this is so wild. I agree it’s not going to happen but from non Bills fans, qb is the weak spot on the team. Allen and Newton have similar styles, Barkley sucks, and Fromm was a 4th rounder who is far from certain as a nfl qb. if the Bills really wanted to go all in on a SB, they would sign Newton. If Allen is truly the guy, he would thrive off the competition and welcome it. He’s gotten hurt both years and I would much rather have Newton than terrible Barkley and Fromm, who might be Barkley Jr. and if Allen isn’t the guy, you have a former MVP to possible transition to. again, they won’t sign him and I am firm with it because it could definitely mess with Allen’s head. But if you’re a non Bills fans, it makes a ton of sense. Yeah if only they had experts like Skip Bayless, Jason Whitlock, or Colin Cowherd.
  2. Haha, of course I’ll enjoy. I find love all the time. ? But you’re kidding yourself if beating the Pats with Stidham or Hoyer is the same as beating Brady. I know you every Bills win is a SB for you but some of us want to see our team beat the best and not guys who weren’t even that good in college. honestly, did that Brissett victory really feel the same as when Fitz beat the Pats? You’re a liar if you say yes.
  3. He had 4,000 yards, 26 tds, 4 ints with Lazard as his second leading receiver in a “bad year.” What qb besides maybe Mahomes is going better with that group? There is talk that the Jimmy G stuff lead to a a divide between Brady and Belichick.
  4. It would be awesome if he just appear on TV and they asked him why he was leaving the greatest dynasty in pro sports history. Brady says one word: Buffalo.
  5. I think he married her, after she got the Tommy Lee Hep C. This was after he was an upper middle class kid who became a rapper and now is a hero to working class hillbillies. ‘Merica.
  6. Thank you for sharing this. Cox was far from a saint and definitely loved stirring the pot but I think it does help to know the full story.
  7. The Pats and their fans don’t think us in slightest. It sucks but it’s true. I walk around Boston wearing my Bills stuff and get comments like if the Oats don’t win, we hope you guys do or you guys have a great fans. Now it could be that I’m so imposing ? but we just aren’t a serious threat to them. it’s why I hate that every week 3 Pats game is like a SB to us and they couldn’t care less. It’s also why I wanted Brady to stay. If we beat them now, it’s not the same. It’s like hooking up with the old, hep c version of Pam Anderson and not the prime Before Tommy lee and Kid Rock version.
  8. If this is his plan, McDermott will have to do a lot of praying to make things right ?. The funniest part of this is Cox was probably cool with the Bills players. Fans take this stuff way more serious than players do. For real. 90s posters were awesome too. When’s the last time someone cared about the Fins?
  9. I was really young during it but is there any truth to the rumor that people were dropping n bombs? I really hope that’s not true but given parts of WNY, it won’t be at all shocking. And honestly, I really liked the Cox stuff. That’s what a rivalry should be. Watching the Bulls doc, the Bad Boy Pistons hated Jordan. That made it that much better. Plus, Cox was great on Hard Knocks.
  10. I meant that he will it be so much physically more dominant in the nfl like he was in college. and trust me, I’m very happy with the pick. I though our biggest needs were pass rusher and big receiver. I do worry that the lack of explosiveness will hold him back a bit. He was talked about as a #1 overall pick before the season (which shows how stupid those are). But imo, he is a very safe pick. At worst, I think he is a 5-7 sack guy who is good against the run. At best, he could possibly get to double digits. But he will fit very nice on our defense. Agreed. That really good speed rusher is the only thing they are missing.
  11. With all due respect to him since he’s a local guy, Daboll sucks as OC. He’s always sucked. It blows my mind that most fans were fine with the hire. I hated it from day one. Jalen Hurts went to Oklahoma and was a Heisman candidate and became a 2nd rounder and he was holding him back at Bama. anything less than a top 15 offense and Daboll would be fired and they should make plans for the Allen replacement.
  12. He wasn’t anything special when he did play. 58% passer, yuck. Plus, he was older and more developed than a lot of college guys he went against. BYU is at such an advantage because of their missions. They have grown men.
  13. Haha, he is making less than Matt Freakin” Barkley. What a joke. this is the move you make when you have a starter who is secure in his job and are trying to win a SB. Unfortunately, we are not in this position and it stinks because this is the type of move we should have made. Better on his worst day than Barkley and if everything clicks and Allen stumbles, we would have one of the most talented qbs to step in.
  14. Probably said something completely outdated and wrong. and this is great PR but I hope they don’t listen to them about player evaluation. Jimbo wanted us to draft Tebow because he’s a good Christian boy. I think this is completely overrated. I like having the guys around to pump up the Bills/ Buffalo and show how much they are a part of the franchise. But they are glorified fans for most part. there’s a reason a lot of great players aren’t great coaches. Bruce is one of the greatest physically gifted players in nfl history. He could tell players what works and they just simply won’t be able to do it.
  15. I never got the LaFleur hire. The Titans weren’t a good offense. I don’t hate the Love pick but I get why Rodgers is upset. Plus with guys playing to 40 now, there is less urgency to get a guy. and normally, I’m for what’s best for the franchise. But Rodgers is their franchise. He got held back by McCarthy and Dom Capers and his toupee. They literally have one nfl starting caliber receiver and did nothing to improve it. i do think Love will be a player in the long run though. But if I was a Pack fan, I would go all in on an all time great qb.
  16. It’s like saying the hottest woman in the world has gotten older and she’s like a 9.5 instead of a 10 now. Plus, because of their crappy receivers, you don’t let her exercise or eat healthy. maybe last year instead of taking Rashaun Gray, who sucked in college, they take Hollywood Brown. Or maybe instead of taking a cb at 12 who is alright, they take DJ Moore or Calvin Ridley. Those guys would be monsters with him. also with GB, it is harder to get FAs so the draft becomes much more important. They have done a disservice to one of the greatest qbs ever and he has a right to be pissed. So should their fans.
  17. I really like AJ but with all due respect, these puff pieces don’t really do much for me. Of course, a high draft pick was to play against. He is a strong dude. But he won’t be that strong in nfl and his lack of explosiveness will keep him from becoming an elite sack guy (I hope I’m wrong). but he will be at worst a very solid starter for a long time. And anything that means less Murphy makes me happy.
  18. Win loss record??? What a lazy argument when talking about a guy like Rodgers. He threw 41 tds, 8 ints in 23 games in 2017 and 2018. Clearly, he was holding GB back. Need more Hundley and Kizer.
  19. Their second leading wr was Allen Lazard who had 477 yards and wasn’t drafted! Yeah, I can’t believe anyone would think they might try to upgrade that position!
  20. He is going to one of those guys who isn’t very good, will have one good drive and some people will go crazy for him, will suck every time he plays after that, but will stick in the NFL for a long time because the coaches like him while they pray he never plays. seems like a good dude and I liked him on QB1. But I see no upside for a college game manager who was the worst NFL talent of the 3 qbs Georgia had. but it will be awesome when this thread gets pumped after he leads a td drive in the 4th quarter of a preseason game against the Lions Peterman or Tuel style.
  21. I would bet a lot of money that he never becomes a successful starting QB in the nfl. They try to act like he could be a Lamar Jackson. Difference is Jackson was awesome in college while Hill was average as a 35 year old at BYU.
  22. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/robreischel/2018/07/11/in-two-short-years-packers-wideout-davante-adams-has-turned-his-career-around/amp/ adams really struggled when he became a starter. But if we had prime Rodgers, you would be happy settling for 2nd round picks? If you have elite franchise guys, there’s like 5, I never got why you don’t go all in for them? NE was similar to this but they would at least try with Randy Moss or Chad Johnson. GB just settles for dudes and hopes Rodgers makes them great. Their receiving core was worst than ours last year. And they do nothing to improve it except add a scrub like Funchess (who will look better than he is because of Rodgers). I’d be pissed if I was a Pats fan.
  23. Another guy who sucked after he left Rodgers.
  24. Eh. Hughes is a 5 sack player, Addison is at an age where production can fall off a cliff, Star is one dimensional, and Murphy is an average to below average JAG. I do really like the young guys. Oliver can be a Star and at worst AJ is going to be a very solid starter for a while (I don’t think he’ll ever be an elite rusher but a 7-10 sack guy). Phillips, who i loved, hasn’t proven a ton yet. But there is talent but I think it will be a need after the year.
