  1. What a joke this guy is. Classic example of needing more money or realizing no cares as much about you when you’re not an athlete. He was a scum since college. One of my least favorite and overrated players of my life.
  2. The counter (and I really like Edmunds so I don’t hate, just showing why it’s not always great to trade up): TE was drafted at 16. LVE went at 19. Darius Leonard went 36. The Bills gave up pick 65. so the Bills could not have traded up and had Leonard and paired him with Orlando Brown pro bowl level OT, WR Michael Gallup, DT Nnadi, or TE Mark Andrews (the Ravens ray lewised the 3rd round that year). they also could have taken OT Isiash Wynn, WRs DJ Moore or Ridley. Then they could have paired them with LB Fred Warner, a baller for the 49ers. I really like Edmunds so it’s nitpicking. But I would probably trade him for any of those combos. I’m fine with any trade up after the first.
  3. I literally don’t remember this. And he went to a college in Alabama For football. I would be shocked if he scored high. I don’t remember hearing any issues of his intelligence once he became the starter. I’d be more worried about his injuries. and Kelly isn’t smart but football intelligence is so different. I know idiots who could barely read who were savants with a playbook.
  4. But there are many factors why this could be. Arians runs an offense that doesn’t use TEs. They have a lot of weapons and Winston likes Brate. talent wise, he is as talented as TE in the nfl. You acquire talent guys who have no character issues for low draft picks and hope the light turns on. This was the case with Jerry Hughes. There is not TE in this draft that as good as Howard available in the 4th.
  5. I Don’t know you to care about what you post. But yeah, I’m going on a limb and saying If you win a Heisman and MVP by 23, you are good at football. Josh Allen would be given the city of Buffalo if he had a season like Lamar.
  6. I don’t get the point. Dumb Kelly and Marino can be HOFers but dumb Tua can’t be a good player?
  7. It makes zero sense. If anything, they should trade Brate. He’s at his ceiling and has maximized his trade value. You are selling really low on Howard. But there are a lot of dumb nfl GMs.
  8. Love the hate on a 23 year old MVP. Clearly, the guy who has been the best player in both college and in his second year in the nfl is just a fad. In his awful playoff this year, he more passing yards than any game of Josh Allen’s career.
  9. There was odds with this picks but I wasn’t sure of the board rules on betting jelly beans though it’s starting to get legal everywhere now. The only thing I will say with the Bama guys I they all benefit from each other. You can’t really double one so they all get favorable coverage. Lamb didn’t have as much help (though Oklahoma is a very friendly offense).
  10. I think NE is all in in Tua too. Belichick and Saban are BFFs and there’s no way I believe they are trusting Stidham to be their future.
  11. The Ryan Pace tweet responses are hilarious! “Too bad she couldn’t have unplugged it when he traded up for Mitch” ?
  12. Totally agree. Allen has upside that Fitz can’t touch. But Fitz is becoming a better qb. What he did in Miami was a borderline miracle last year. He made Parker, a bust, into a top 10 receiver. They were stupid for signing him.
  13. Chargers have some of the best unis in sports (Bills are right up there and the Sabres will be when they go to royal blue next year). The fans in Mexico City will buy a lot of chargers jerseys when they move there in a couple of years.
  14. Trying to make some jelly beans here (So desperate and sick of wagering on WWE) and figured this would be fun for conversation. Please draft experts weigh in! 1) who drafts Tua? 2) Tua draft position over/under 4.5 3) Qbs selected in the 1st - o/u 4.0 4) Bama 1st round picks - o/u 5.5!!! 5) LSU 1s round picks - o/u 4.5 6) 1st round wrs - o/u 5.5!!! 7) 1st round rbs - o/u 1.5 (? rbs make me sad) ? 1st round defensive players - o/u 15.5 9) more offensive or defensive players in round 1 10) first wr drafted 11) first Rb drafted answer as if someone’s mortgage (ginger bread house needs jelly beans) is on the line.
  15. Pass rusher is a big need for this team that some are glossing over. But getting older, struggling with injuries, and that contract make it a no.
  16. Going to be a bunch of Richards and racist language all over that draft! man, I totally get the Diggs trade but I would love to have a 1st!!! I’m so excited for something sports related! I even watched 5 minutes of the WNBA draft. I am so desperate haha. I just heard that AOL dial up sound in my head!
  17. Yeldon is a nothing burger for me. Easily replaceable.
  18. That game summed up how I have felt about Allen. 1st half - I’m an idiot for doubting this guy. I Can’t wait to get destroyed on this board all week and I’ll be so happy. My friends and I are talking about taking a road trip to the next game no matter where it was. 2nd half and OT - what is you doing baby??? he definitely is not boring, good or bad. He’s like Fitz or Winston in that way. It’s like being on drugs (or so they tell me ?).
  19. McDermott has entered the chat. ?
  20. A radio caller in Buffalo: so I think we should trade Trent Murphy and a conditional 7th round pick for Bosa. Thoughts? Freeman would be interesting if the price was right. He’s might to be in a time share. He’s not built to be a workhorse.
  21. Aren’t most of these threads guesswork haha? my thoughts are with our schedule last year and our defense, a bunch of qbs could have taken us to the playoffs. If anything, our offense held us back. Now it’s not all on Allen of course but With a better offense, maybe we lose 4 or fewer games. That’s how good our defense was and how easy our schedule was. I love this year’s schedule. Awesome road trips plus games where the offense is going to need to score. If Allen improves this year, I will fully buy in.
  22. He has been a .500 qb for teams with crappy defenses and bad situations. In Buffalo, his wrs were Stevie (7th, great pick!), David Nelson (UDFA), And Jones (UDFA). And they had crap defenses. In TB, he light up teams and set a record for most consecutive 400 yard passing games in a row I believe. From week 7 when he became the starter again, the Fins averaged 24 points per game. On a team where he was the leading rusher! On a team where they traded their star LT. on a team where Parker had averaged 600 yards/ season and had a total of 9 tds (which he tied last year). so do I think he could have made the playoffs on a team that averaged 19.6 points/ game and had the 3rd ranked defense? Um yeah. I think a lot of average level starting qb could have. Of course, if you’re taking a qb from the division, you take Allen or Darnold. but at this point, I think Fitz is the best qb in the division. Not a franchise guy but he can win games. That’s why it was dumb for Miami to sign him. Darnold threw 1 more int in 197 more attempts than Allen in college. there’s this thought that the coaches are holding Allen back and he should be throwing more (I want to see that if he’s a true franchise guy). But i remember people saying the same about JP Losman (Allen is better than JP) and he was terrible.
  23. Stop ? going ? after ? expensive ? veteran ? running backs ? with ? miles ? on ? them ?! just draft a young cheap guy or wait until cuts to sign a guy on the cheap. This instance on Mike Tolbert and Frank Gore is weird. Haha, why would they say anything? This is why I couldn’t be a reporter. You asking a question knowing the answer before you ask it.
