I don’t think you can really argue that Minshew is a better pure passer than Allen and the Jags aren’t exactly loaded at receiver. Now the question is whether Minshew is at his ceiling and what will ceiling Allen has. I didn’t expect Minshew to translate this well at all to the nfl. Thought he was a product of a gimmick system. But if we had Minshew with how he played last year, we would have made the playoffs with him too. I think that’s what some fans are missing out on. A lot of Starting level Qbs could have taken us to the playoffs last year. Our defense was so good that our offense didn’t have to be anything special.

It could be argued with more consistent offense and our easy schedule, there were a bunch of games that could have been over before the 4th quarter. and Jackson has 16 more passing tds than Allen.

Like i said, Knox did some good things. I hated the pick because of his college production. But Howard’s potential is so much higher than Knox. I think Howard could be the best TE in the nfl in the right situation. TB would be dumb to trade a talented player like this for what they would get back. I really hope the Bills don’t think like this. They lack size and our TEs aren’t anything special.

Because they don’t use him. They spent a 1st on him and don’t even try to get him the ball. He averages 15.5 ypc which is crazy for a TE! this is the type of guy who gets traded and blows up for another team. And then everyone is like oh yeah, that guy is super talented

For sure (still would have taken Mahomes/ Watson ?). But for all the salary cap is so great nerds, it’s about to shrink real fast. Kinda happens when players become good and get a second contract. Fair point as well. McDermott is a great secondary coach (it’s what he played in college) and has a very good system for d backs.

I think TB will be good but this would be a worry. I think Arians is one of the best offensive coaches but man, you gotta do what’s made Brady so good. Howard is leaps and bounds better than Knox. It’s not even close.

How is Howard a knucklehead? Everything I’ve heard is he is a great dude. and this makes zero sense. Talent wise, he is as good as any TE in the nfl and Brady loves tight ends (?) and 2 TEs sets. I think this is fake news but I’d throw a 3rd at them to see if they bite. I still believe in him. He was a beast in college and was underutilized.
