Two weeks ago I prayed it would be the Colts and that was nearly a disaster. It turned out to be a terrible matchup for Buffalo. No more praying for me. Just let the matchup happen without my divine intervention.
Yeah, kind of silly how many of us (including me) were rooting to play Indy last weekend. turns out that was a terrible matchup for us. feel really fortunate to get outta there. i’m not sure they aren’t better than anyone else we would see next weekend
The review at the end sucked...but overall I thought the refs were fine. They let the guys play and only called 4 penalties in the entire game... Both clubs got away with stuff but I'd rather see that than a micro-managed game.
...until that last review when the "catch/get up untouched/strip fumble" was reviewed and called him DOWN. Unreal. and the play clock going down to zero inexplicably.
But overall I thought the refs were good. They let stuff go on BOTH sides today. No holding anywhere...even though there was holding on both sides. I'd rather see a game called like that rather than micro-managed. I'd take that every week.
The Gabe Davis reviews were fast and efficient too.
they were employing the Super Bowl 25 game plan for the first 3 quarters. just converting short 3rd downs, ball controlling us to death, keep Allen off the field. and they have a good D and special teams too
hate two QB runs in a row. but just get points on the opening drive and they did. D has got to show up. this was never going to be a 38+ point game. they need to ball now
Let’s just remember this is an 11-5 opponent here. This won’t be the Pats, Broncos or crappy overrated Dolphins.
Im expecting a win,,, but a much tougher game throughout.
In our last playoff games we lost to Jacksonville and Houston. Those are two crappy organizations from the AFC South. Gotta do better tomorrow. much better.
Daboll taught Josh how to expertly ride a bike. Josh will not forget how to ride that bike once Daboll leaves.
The only person who taught Josh how to improve his accuracy was Josh,,,(with a big assist from Jordan Palmer).
He will be fine.
As a birthday gift, Nick Wright gave Cowherd an opt out on the bet. Joy made him take it. So no bet. But Wright said he'd honor his half of the bet if the Bills make the AFC Championship game.
Later in the show Cowherd doubled down and said the Bills would kill Kansas City as of today.. I think it's a bit much. He loves Buffalo but my thing is: let's see us win a playoff game first.. But he's about opinions so there ya go..
