  1. It's fun to talk about, but as McDermott said last night it's not a good idea to hope for certain outcomes. It's the "be careful what you wish for" thing. So I'm just watching the games and whatever happens is meant to be.
  2. Hyde literally came out of nowhere on the TV screen. it was shocking. at first i thought the NE guy caught it. Then i thought the ball must’ve been knocked away somewhere out of bounds… only then realize the fans were going nuts because Hyde had it. Amazing.
  3. A lot of KC fans are kind of dismissing the Steelers game later and thinking about next week. That’s bad karma. I felt that way about us in game #1 vs Pittsburgh.
  4. I don't quote myself too often, but this aged well.
  5. Whatever dumb superstitious crap we all did before this game...do it exactly the same next week!!!
  6. i hated wasting a down but we shall see
  7. This is the problem when allowing teams to hang around. Feels like Cinci should be up by a decent amount
  8. I trust the coaches. Whoever they have in there or sat, i’m sure there is a solid reason.
  9. Cinci gets the 4th seed and Raiders at home. arghhhh
  10. Burrow is a very good thrower of the football from the pocket. and now outside the pocket.
  11. On the flip side, can you imagine us beating the evil empire tonight then ultimately beating Brady in the SB? Such a dream. If that were to happen, I would never ask for another victory for any of my teams for the rest of my life.
  12. Gotta say, that Patriots airplane seemed way more intimidating when you knew Brady was getting off that thing and about to shred us. Now it just looks like a nice plane covered in some goofy paint scheme.
  13. Cowherd hedged. He likes the Pats to cover +4, but picked the Bills 28-27. He spent most of his picks segment talking about how much he likes the underdogs this weekend (except for Raiders). I agree. BB's whole strategy will be to quickly get this game to the 4th Qtr and have it be a 1 score game. He will try to ball control the Bills with 6-Olinemen and slamming the run. He will glady take Allen getting impatient and throwing risky passes. One turnover either way could be the difference. I expect Josh to run like a madman, 15+ runs,,,,many of the unscripted variety when his first look isn't there. I think Allen's running will be the difference.
  14. Belichek loves Allen. He gave him big hugs after this seasons games and late last year. You can tell he would love to have him as his QB. Bill B may have some answers to rough up our WR's (like he did in SuperBowl 25!)...but he can't stop Allen's unscripted runs and improvisation. I think Josh is Bill's kryptonite.
  15. The crew on ESPN (Get UP) this morning keeps pointing out that Josh Allen has very poor numbers in cold weather... Allen's QBR below 32 degrees is the 2nd lowest of any QB in the last 15 years, only ahead of Tim Tebow. Anyway, a good chance for Josh to squash that narrative.
  16. It's funny, the board acts like we've never experienced cold before. The good news is that the winds will be light. Don't listen to any forecast that mentions gusts. The winds for Orchard Park in January will be calm. On the flip side, it's just unfortunate that this is the best Bills club since the early 90's....and we have to deal not only with Belichek/NE, but the weather will likely impact the game too. Just catching the ball and not fumbling will take serious concentration.
  17. Still comes down to turnovers like most NFL games. Bills have overcome that a couple times this season but can't blow scoring opportunities or give up any by turning the ball over or failing on 4th downs (which is like a turnover to me).
  18. Good. Blue over white at home is the uniform. It's the only home uniform they should wear at home. Once a season I'm ok with the throwback white over white (standing Buffalo), earlier in the season when weather is warmer.
  19. He prob regrets signing that long-term deal playing in this frozen wind tunnel of a stadium. Get the man a roof. He deserves it.
  20. Saw a tweet today where Josh says he has poor circulation and it is difficult for him to keep his toes dry and warm. Get this man a roof.
  21. Yep. They also might want to bring their own heated benches like the Cowboys did in Wash a few weeks ago. It's possible someone could trip and "accidently" unplug the cord during the game. You know if this game were in Foxboro there would be some shenanigans with the Bills setup.
  22. Just a couple weeks ago (week 17) Green Bay beat Minnesota in 5 degrees at night. Just Youtube the highlights if you want to be refreshed. Rodgers - an elite California QB- had no major issues throwing the ball. Josh needs to throw a catchable ball.. Diggs needs to do his best Davante Adams impersonation and make clutch catches. Buffalo has the better passing game, they need to use it.
  23. I think Allen runs like a maniac on Saturday night. It's just easier to take the 5-7 yard run and slide over throwing a 90mph fastball to a guy 7 yards away in traffic when it's 2 degrees out. Josh held back this past weekend, but id bank on 15+ carries. He just needs to make sure not to absorb big hits if possible. The frozen ball will pop out of there easier and NE is really physical.
  24. Weather Channel has it at 3 degrees for game time and 0 by 11pm. Is the lake frozen over? Lake Erie is supposed to do it's job and keep the immediate area slightly warmer, while further inland is colder. That doesn't sound like the case for Sat night.
  25. I think it's more likely that Daboll goes to Chicago to develop Fields and help him reach his potential.
