  1. As much as i want to see him play, i would not. so if he’s in the game it might tip the Ravens off that it’s a run play. Doesn’t mean he still wouldn’t make plays though
  2. another reason why i think Allen balls out and has a very good game in windy cold conditions.
  3. Hoping the Bills can orchestrate the coin toss situation to have the ball going towards the tunnel end in the 4th Qtr. That's the most important Qtr. You're going to want a tailwind going for a game winning FG in that direction. It's also the longest Qtr due to timeouts, 2-min warning, etc..
  4. Let's hope.. The Bills D aren't a bunch of huge slow guys.. they are mostly on the lighter side and quick. Maybe that will be effective. Just a bit worried because we've all seen Milano and Edmunds juked out of their jocks more than a few times. Can't whiff on the first contact tonight like we did vs. Indy.
  5. I'm thinking that all season Josh has changed the narrative about everything he does. Maybe tonight he's a superb QB in cold/windy conditions. We can only hope.
  6. Their D is good but not great. the best offense they played late was Cleveland and the Browns moved the ball at will. (but so did Lamar). The winds tonight say 12-20mph gusting to 35. that hurts Buffalo more than the Ravens D.
  7. dang it, the wind looks to be worse than i thought. 15-20 with gusts to 35. That really messes with the Bills downfield passing game. I recall a windy game last season vs Philadelphia. Carson Wentz handled it so much better than Josh. Lots of accurate short passes to RBs and the TE. It’s unlikely to complete long downfield passes in those conditions unless there’s a moment when the wind subsides.
  8. Hope they can set the tone early and get off the field on 3rd downs. that killed em last week.
  9. Went to Rockpile games in the late 60’s with my grandfather, was at inaugural Bills game at Rich Stadium. been to 2 of the 4 Super Bowls. watch every game with my son now. Bills are so much a part of my life and still super nervous for Sat night.
  10. Just don't miss your blocking assignments and focus on ball security.
  11. Well forget that, Caps just scored. Sabres look awful but it’s early.
  12. 5 mins into the game the Sabres look lousy. they appear slow and lazy. Caps look like they have been on a 5 min PP with puck possession. At least Hutton looks confident.
  13. The ball is going to be cold and slick on Saturday night. Everyone is at risk of fumbling... not just Yeldon. Everyone on both teams is a fumble waiting to happen.
  14. It's kind of strange that all the top guys keep going to AFC teams... and same this year with Lawrence and Fields likely going to AFC teams. The NFC has 3 great old vets and a bunch of decent yet middling QB's like Ryan, Stafford and Bridgewater, etc..
  15. The Bills and Josh have been changing the narrative all season on a bunch of different points. Maybe this game...in the biggest moment of his young career...Josh goes off and we wake up Sunday morning saying WOW, this guy was amazing in the snow and wind. He handled it way better than Lamar. Just maybe?!?
  16. Even so, it's impossible to stick your foot in the ground and cut with the same speed as a dry surface. So even if Lamar is slowed by 3/10th's of a second on his cuts, it will allow guys to close a bit quicker. But if he gets out in the open field,, we can only hope he slips. If we can throw the ball and it's not too windy, I think it's a nice advantage for Buffalo. With Baltimore, look out for the tight end and those short dump offs.
  17. Latest NWS forecast says a lake effect band will be setting up Saturday eve into Sunday. Expect significant snow south of Buffalo.
  18. All i know is last week was brutal. I think we kicked off, Colts ball controlled it, eating up several minutes,,,then pinned us deep on the punt. That set the Bills up for what seemed like poor field position the entire half. Even when we kicked off after the TD, Indy had a great return, and were at midfield again in about 2 plays. What a frustrating half that was.
  19. The only thing you need to know is that Buffalo is on a 3-game losing streak to Baltimore and McDermott is on a personal 2-game losing streak vs the Ravens and Harbaugh (including the embarrassing Peterman opener in Josh's rookie season). I like that angle. McD is always good when he has a little revenge factor to work with.
  20. geez, for the OP, say the word "period" once in a while and start a new sentence. That was a tough read.
  21. Of course it's blue over white. Why would they not wear the traditional home uni, especially coming off a big Win in those same outfits. 👍
  22. Good, i like being perceived as the underdog, or not having the tools to win a weather game. The Bills will want to prove that narrative wrong.
  23. The Bills on O are a bit like the Patriots from a few years ago.. Brady would drop back and throw 45-50 times a game.. Their 3rd and 1 plays were those little short out passes to Edelman. They didn't really use a running game since passing was their strength. Josh obviously has more athleticism so the Bills can do all sorts of different unscripted stuff out of the shotgun... and we have better deep threats than those NE teams.
  24. Feels like the Bills are playing some real life fantasy football lately. Kenny Stills, now Freeman... it's like they're signing name guys for bench depth.
  25. He’s right. and there were a lot of playoff firsts in this game - Colts are first playoff team to gain 450+ yards and have zero turnovers and lose. - Every Colts drive went across the 50 and into Bills territory. and they lost. It’s a “house money” game this week. We should have lost to Indy. enjoy the ride.
