Yep, someone who clearly has a problem doesn't get afforded the benefit of the doubt by only having a couple. More than zero is a backslide, and the Browns maybe should put him on the IR- Designate list, if this is still a problem. They don't need this kind of publicity. Didn't one of their WRs run over and kill a pedestrian a decade ago, while drunk, and do time?

Bills v. Bengals line is a pick em
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I were a gambler, this pick'em game is a cupcake, and I would absolutely put the rent on the Bengals. This, right now, is the "adjustment period" of where the league has caught up to Tyrod, and coupled with our squalor of a running game, he really has it on his shoulders to be The Guy, when he just isn't ready yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see the line go to Bengals +4.5, and I would still like my chances there. -

An all-time great, and a Super Bowl? Yeah, I suppose that would be okay. -
Jets: Fitz is our guy!
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Once I cut through the fact that I'm not a Jets fan, and wish failure to those that stand between our team and winning, but I really like Fitz, as a guy, and really respect Chan, having to coach this team when we were fielding players like Reggie Torbor, Ko Simpson, and Geoff Hangartner... The cupboard was BARE, and he formulated a legitimately functional offense. Donald Jones, Stevie Johnson, and David Nelson were our top 3 WRs, and we had an elite screen offense getting elite-level numbers from our running backs, with help from Fitz. I miss how decent of people that team felt like, really easy to root for vs. some of the guys on our team now, but we are infinitely more talented, and wish Chan had a fair chance to coach this much talent. -
Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola worries
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to Blink181's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Remember, now? They didn't win it, the Seahawks lost it by outthinking (Jauron-ing) themselves and allowing NE a sliver of daylight. We cannot do that. -
Quiet when on Offense!!
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I respect how quiet Indy used to be when Peyton was there, when they were on offense. There was probably 60,000 people in that stadium, and when he yelled his "OMAHA's", it sounded like he was alone in an echoey warehouse. Fans, excepting for big plays on offense, take a break and sit down, and be quiet when they are operating. You will need the rest, as you will need to be in FULL throat when the defense is on the field. C'mon, don't make us look amatuer by yelling your heads off and causing false starts or delay of games, or burnt timeouts just because you see your favorite team on the field. Have a purpose. Don't be the fans at the PGA event cheering just because your guy's tee-shot is in the air, when it is actually heading for the drink. -

Bill Burr Talking Bills
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to billsgpr88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is referencing "Ya Know What, Dude...", right? Is that any good? I guess I have heard it's decent, I just haven't looked into it yet. -
I know what you're saying, but... What exactly was lost by the way they went about it? They came away with an easy win, still, which is very important. They kept many more bullets in their chamber and off of game film, ready to be fired at NE without them being able to Gameplan for them by already seeing them in an unnecessarily aggressive 4th quarter vs. Colts. The only negative is that the colts scored a couple touchdowns and accumulated a few yards, which will effect the bills' defensive rankings, which is something we like to look at from time to time. In the end, though, I think this increased our chances to beat NE by leaving things in the playbook with NE coming this week, so I am okay with it. Hopefully we roll one of the next two teams for that satisfying 10+ point win, holding the other team to under 10 (a tough call against NE but possible against Miami) before our next 4 softer games, where we should just out-physical them whether they know what we're going to do or not, and go at least 3-1 vs them.

Colts Fans are acryin'!!!
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great to see us laying waste and dispair in our wake. However, we are still deficient at QB until Tyrod does well through at least 8 games, through when the league makes adjustments to him but still is effective, so we need to clean up our act with the penalties. One thing I remember when we played Rex's Jets the last couple years was they were undisciplined and at times overly aggressive to the point of sloppy, so we NEED to fix that before it becomes our MO too. We don't have the tawny and efficiency on offense yet to overcome having big plays wiped out, until Tyrod has proven himself. -

Bills activating IK to 53
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is there ANY way that we can keep Rex from naming IK his captain for the Jets game, and I'm serious... I get that it's his team, he can't be told every step of the way by the fans, of what to do, but it comes across a such a classless way to go about naming captains, to only name people who can needle the opponent, instead of rewarding an in-house legit leader. Perhaps could be part of the reason why his Jets teams fell apart towards the end, because instead of naming a real captain, they would name Aaron Maybin as captain twice in one year. Jerry Hughes says hi, and, to a lesser extent, Thad Lewis (roster cutdown trade for a 3rd string MLB we were about to cut, and we got several starts and about .500 ball out of him, if I remember correctly). McCoy reserves judgment. -
Week 1 "lock" to win - Now on to Week 2.
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Oakland, but just not this year yet. This time next year, I think they contend for a wild card if Carr keeps progressing and they have another like the last two they have had. They have some nice talent there, like us in about 2010 after we drafted Dareus and had some talent on offense, but the D was still about 2 years from realizing their collective talent. -

Dan Carpenter injury (update - put on notice)
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why are we so quick to cut him, if we know he can produce, and don't have anyone productive behind him on the roster? -
No, I just signed up for it before the game, and every time I try to press the "watch" button, it just asks me to LF in. I do, and it takes me to NFL.com homepage, and I'm not even logged in. Total piece of garbage. I'm canceling... If I can even figure out how to do that on this crappy website that refuses to acknowledge I even signed in. So what is better, if you don't have cable or dish?

Exhibition Week 1 - Panthers vs. Bills
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
nah, not sure who I want to win, at this point, but that DB was laying out diving because the WR was the only person with a play on the ball, and he tried to tackle him. The ball was at least 18 inches away from the DB. -

Freddy injured again.
BuffalothruMyVeins replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was at practice today, and didn't see him even get hurt. Anybody have any info on when/how he hurt it? I pretty much always watch Freddy when hope has the ball or doing individual drills, but didn't see him injure himself.
