  1. Boy this team really is All In... Shady goes out of practice, Felton sets blocks for him all the way to the trainer's room.
  2. I am SO done with this team. These 3 wins vs the NFC should have been losses. We would be 1-5, and in much better shape for the playoffs. Don't let the standings that have us in the playoffs now as the #6 seed fool you... we are worse off than ever. FIRE THE COACH! THE GM! THE BALL BOY, TICKET OFFICE PERSONNEL, THE SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER!
  3. I know it wasn't a tight play-by-play, but as someone said earlier, I prefer a very qualified play by play guy with good voice and everything Stockton does well, and willing to deal with the few errors in the mean time. Allows some unexpected entertainment, and if you know anything about football, you're not thrown off by it, or confused. Unlike Wilcots who may not say the wrong word, but is just TERRIBLE to listen to. He is probably in his 70s, so let's not act like he's not still doing very well to converse and play-by-play for 3 hours straight. He was fine...
  4. This song was changed, in my eyes, on this short radio interview that the late, GREAT Patrice O'Neal did, I recommend you check it out, pretty funny.
  5. I haven't listened to the station today, has Howard and Jeremy gone game-by-game for the whole Sabres season and "picked the Sabres" without Eichel? GREAT radio.
  6. Rob specializes in red zone packages, polishing that particular aspect... and SO FAR ANYWAYS, they have been strong there. A smaller sample size vs. no real offensive juggernauts, but successful nonetheless. Rob also coaches LBers, and they have been as strong a unit as any on our team this season.
  7. I'm not trying to bash it, but it wouldn't really make sense for either teams. As someone said earlier, Tannehill's cap hit is very significant, and that would be a lot for a backup, when their starter would only be making around a million. If they were to trade away Romo, as kind of a changing of the guard, and clearing the road for their new QB, I feel like taking back a young, very expensive QB would be counter productive. On Miami's end, they should already be assuming that their season is lost. We would be, if we were in their shoes. Though I do like Romo as a short-term player, I would be inconsolable if our season was a loss and then we trade valuable future assets to salvage a 6-10, instead of going all-in and getting the 3-13 or 4-12 record and standing in a better position next April. On Miami's end, the salaries are a wash, there, so that would be a non-issue, unless there is a lot of signing bonus left on one of their deals that would tank one of their caps when the player gets traded and that bonus all stays on the cap, on top of taking on the other $20 million quarterback.
  8. After watching the Steelers yesterday, they had every look, to me, like a team that will play deep, deep into January, so I have them beating NE. I think we can get to this game at 5-2, so we should both have the same records going into that game. As any realistic Bills fan would assume, Brady is likely to smoke the Bills, but there is always a chance Rex gets the team to stand up, play disciplined, and steal one. I feel like it's a 15% chance of happening, but it COULD happen. If it does... Boy, it would feel incredible to be a game up on NE going into November, and holding the season series tie-breaker against them. I know we would get tripped up in the next month with that tough November run, so NE would pass us as they feast on the teams that we'd have already beaten during our soft part of the schedule... but to have a real season to root for... for the first time in my adult life... I know I'm way ahead of myself, but I can dream.
  9. Jesus Wooderson, you've done it again! That's it! I guess I was strong on it being a horror movie, but that is exactly it. Thank you so much... now I can go about enjoying my weekend!
  10. I was watching a TV show and they played that song "take my breath away", and it reminded me of a movie that had a short length of it played in it, I feel like it might have been a horror movie where someone gets killed... possibly a cut scene or flashback... PLEASE help ID, it's driving me crazy and I cannot find the answer anywhere online... except for in Top Gun and Dirty Dancing, and those are not it. This is the song, fyi: https://youtu.be/Bx51eegLTY8
  11. Poor QB play/ overall team talent? Playing in same division as Patriots? Aren't those AT ALL a factor in the dry spell? I fail to see how TC in either Buffalo or SJF has any bearing when Brady is driving on us with 2:00 to go, or we have to go 89 yards for the win. We have just not been talented most of the seasons.
  12. Where was Gilmore on that play... and he wants to be our latex salesman??
  13. I know DL is one of the harder to transition from NCAA to NFL, so since he hasn't made a specific statistical impact, it should be considered that he is a starting DL on a team that ranks highly against the run and the pass.
  14. He should have gone to Philly for pennies on the dollar to play for Schwartz, he would probably be successful there.
  15. I disagree, though. I think the offense has felt better, even if they didn't hit the 2 bombs that they did in that 37 point game. Stats might not back me up, but I feel like we have better pace, we seen effective on 3rd downs and especially 2nd or 3rd and short, and less 3 and outs. That's a Belichek defense, you can't ding the offense for not running up the score on them.
  16. Interesting... which do you think is more likely to happen, Woods gets to 60 receptions on the year (which he has already done once in his career 2 seasons ago), having 18 already and 7 today as his first game as official #1... or Sammy really is a HOF, per your handle? Read as mostly just a joke, not a shot on Sammy.
  17. Yeah... if Cleveland thinks that they have had a difficult sports history up to this point... they might lose their football team to contraction and Indians might be evicted from the playoffs whether they are up in the series or not, after the Browns lose so badly next week.
  18. I had Woods gone as a FA after this year because he wouldn't get enough targets as the #2WR, but with him being the #1WR for the rest of this season, maybe he hits his potential of 60+ catches on the year and we bring him back?
  19. This win to NE is going to kill us until the standings... season is over!
  20. I wouldn't get rid of Carpenter, but there is merit to giving Carp the kickoffs and FGs and bringing in someone else to do the XPs, and cut Gay. It doesn't change the roster makeup, we still carry 2 Ks, but just slightly different roles now.
  21. Wow... I get the exact opposite feeling. I feel like this is a smoking box of tinder that is on the verge of blowing up.
  22. Nonsense, I don't think so. Schwartz likely feels like he has been burned too recently by us, and I think I've heard recent interviews by Wade saying he is just content being a DC now, that he doesn't really desire to be a HC anymore. If I had to guess, I would think some high-flying offensive mind, right or wrong, for our next HC. Not saying that's necessarily the right move, but teams usually see-saw from one extreme to the other after firing HCs.
