Nah, I think TBN writers have a typical smaller-city inferiority complex and are overcompensate by trying to be "hard-hitting journalists". None of them are particularly talented writers and most of them seem to take special pleasure repeating worst-case-scenario questions. Journalists are not meant to be "the voice of the people", they are tools for gaining information.
