  1. He plays with a ton of heart, hard not to like him. He's the one player I actually worry about getting injured for his own good rather than just his availability just cause of how hard he plays
  2. This is the long and short of it. Reports say the DBs even told the Pats players they didn't care if they ran on their side of the field as long as they stayed on the sidelines but please NOT to be on the field. The Pats, being sicks, decided to endanger the health of DBs who need to be able to warm up and intentionally ran through the field instead of the sidelines. If you don't think it was planned, watch how quickly the coaches showed up, they were watching the whole time.
  3. LOL, this is classic. Zero logic, but classic.
  4. WE offered him that huge contract; dunno why it's his fault that he accepted it and we don't use him that much.
  5. I don't think it matters what the offense is doing as long as our D sucks. We could score 100 and still lose with the pass D we have. Also, Lynn directly responds to the question posed by the OP: Q: Rex has said ground-and-pound before. Take us into your offensive philosophy. A: No, I don't know ground-and-pound. To me, if they give you ground-and-pound you ground-and-pound. If they give you pass, you pass. I just want to coach an explosive offense, doing multiple things, balance multiple personnel groupings and just take what they give us. I'm a personnel driven guy. I believe in personnel. Get the ball in the hands of players and let them make the plays because if you do that, they'll make way more plays than we'll ever design.
  6. This team lives in a state of denial about its quarterback situation. Why is it we can use 2 first round picks to trade up for a WR but we've never spent whatever it took to draft a top-flight QB?
  7. This worked well for Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans, I can see no fault in it
  8. Putting the fact aside that the article is poorly written, the thought behind it is sobering. We could have had either of those coordinators as our HC and there's no chance we would be in as bad shape as we are now 0-2, about to be 0-3 looking down the barrel of another circus-like offseason where we will fail to change out the people at the top of the hierarchy and continue playing musical chairs with the people at the bottom after having missed the playoffs for 17 straight years
  9. Nah, I think TBN writers have a typical smaller-city inferiority complex and are overcompensate by trying to be "hard-hitting journalists". None of them are particularly talented writers and most of them seem to take special pleasure repeating worst-case-scenario questions. Journalists are not meant to be "the voice of the people", they are tools for gaining information. I feel like there are way too many sports journalists with an inflated sense of self-worth and write more to build their own brand than to do actual journalism.
  10. Mohr steals jokes, I don't need to hear his opinion on anything.
  11. Yep, he's one of the only reporters I trust not to go nuts with speculation
  12. Whaley set this team up as a 4-3 defense. Rex screwed us by changing to a 3-4. If we were pressuring qbs our cbs wouldn't be this exposed
  13. Hopefully firing greg roman helps. The playcalling has been awful
  14. There is absolutely no logic in this scenario
  15. Defense was terrible, but they were also exhausted. We couldn't sustain a drive to save our lives. The playcalling was awful
  16. So, this season is a dumpster fire within the span of 5 days. As it looks like we will not receive entertainment from the product on the field, I have decided to make my own Bills entertainment by selecting the memes I believe best represent the power structure of our team. I'm using imgflip.com/memegenerator so you can all feel free to create your own and share them to your little heart's desire wherever you please. Russ Brandon - The Modern Eddie Haskell Doug Whaley- Lumberg Incarnate El Pegual - Clueless Optimism Sexy Rexy - All Bluster, No Substance Greg Roman - Bye Felicia
  17. Fire Roman? No problem!
  18. I like Anthony Lynn. Looks like this season will be some more on the job training for him on the road to a HC position. I mean everyone will be canned at the end of the year, but at least someone gets something good out of this.
  19. No need to worry guys, we're going to be just fine...
  20. This team is very poorly coached. We haven't had a decent HC for years
  21. Absolutely the fans need to voice their displeasure publicly and not just complain to each other. Brown baggin it seems like a good idea
  22. I see some hate in you. Kizer will be a solid NFL QB as long as he keeps progressing in his game. He can make all the throws and does fairly well under pressure. Clausen was never a very good quarterback, he was a smokescreen like Brady Quinn who succeeded because he had superior WR talent around him, at least for the college game. Is Kizer NFl-ready right now? No, I think he needs to progress a lot more this season to say he's NFL ready.
  23. Agreed. I have never seen an "elite" CB, which he purports to be, get absolutely abused for the entirety of the game.
  24. This is a terrible idea
