Exactly. I agree with the comment on force-feeding local games and keeping the price-point on a subscription service way too high. It's laughable how they don't seem to realize the internet exists. Now, I live out of the country so I purchase Gamepass every year to stream all the games I want in HD, but that's just because I'm a stickler for doing things a certain way, it would be so easy just to watch everything on kodi or a streaming website. The league's model is outdated. They should scrap DirectTv and just do Gamepass for everyone. If you don't want to blow $200 a season they could offer packages where you could follow 1 or 2 teams and they would pull in bank. The problem with the NFL is they are under the delusion that people need to come to them. They don't even pay the bands that they get to perform at the SuperBowl (https://www.upvenue.com/article/1881-do-artists-pay-to-perform-at-the-superbowl.html) and they reportedly went so far last year as to tell artists they had to pay the NFL for the exposure of performing.

Prime time games have been garbage, why is this a question? They set the schedule based on prior performance and have a bunch of garbage teams like the Colts. You want anyone other than hometown fans to watch the games, make the matchups compelling.

The real question is, why is this a story? Is calling someone a Muslim an insult now? People burn effigies of opposing players all the time, why are we supposed to treat this player as special? I'm up for whatever the heck makes him uncomfortable or less focused on the game. Is he afraid of spiders? Let's release 1000 spiders onto the field. I could care less about his political anything. He's a vegan now, I plan on "protesting" him by eating some sausage and peppers and a crapload of wings. Nothing wrong with what McCoy asked. Now, if the fans ARE disrespectful and it affects Kaep... I'm ok with whatever messes with the opposing team's QB. This is a football not a camp sing-a-long, I cheer for my team to win, I don't cheer for the team with the nicest players and fans.

+1. I would just add that AZ and NE were good wins and good teams can have bad games but still find a way to win, like we did with the Rams. Now, we're not a "good team" yet, but it is encouraging that we didn't screw the pooch against LA. Good teams also roll over teams they should beat and don't let them hang around. We will know if we are a good team in a couple of weeks, at the very least this team appears to be more resilient that years past where we would lay down and die at the first sign of trouble.

I feel like this thread is a bit reactionary. FireRex has done a great job with his game observation posts and I think it's too soon to be calling for anyone to eat crow after 3 wins. I certainly hope the defense continues to tighten up and that Tyrod can show some MUCH NEEDED progression. If we see those two things I would feel a lot better about this team. 4/10 for 22 yards (according to the presser on OBD) in the second half isn't stellar QB play.
