I see some hate in you. Kizer will be a solid NFL QB as long as he keeps progressing in his game. He can make all the throws and does fairly well under pressure. Clausen was never a very good quarterback, he was a smokescreen like Brady Quinn who succeeded because he had superior WR talent around him, at least for the college game. Is Kizer NFl-ready right now? No, I think he needs to progress a lot more this season to say he's NFL ready.

Agreed. I have never seen an "elite" CB, which he purports to be, get absolutely abused for the entirety of the game.

I refuse to believe you watched the same game everyone else did. The offensive playcalling was pathetic, we can't even run the ball anymore and the defense is on its way to being worst in the league.

Kizer is a really solid QB. Worries me that he hadn't won the starting QB job outright before the season started though, makes me feel like Zaire has better leadership abilities out of the two and Kelly was hoping he'd win the competition but Kizer was just more gifted.

Yeah I suppose we're stuck with him for the season, I think the players would have to revolt for him to get fired-midseason

Do we fire Rex mid season? There's really no one on this coaching staff who could take over for him. How many weeks til we're forced to abandon this sideshow?

What a joke. How is anyone supposed to take something positive away from that dumpster fire of a game. We do NOT have a real starting QB, the playcalling is garbage on both offense and defense, our highly touted CBs play like they represent the lollipop guild and the ONLY reason the Jets didn't hang another 14 pts on us was that they shot themselves in the foot, oh and we are on our way to being the most penalized team in the league again.
