I don't think Floyd is a bad egg. I've met him a couple of times and he was always really nice. We got to sit next to his mom at a game a few years back at ND and she was such a nice lady. He has a support system around him that can pick him up from this stupid mistake. You buy low on this guy and you have a solid #2 for the next 4-5 years.

I'm starting to wonder if he is even really getting fired. Why would we start TT in a meaningless game that could have serious cap repercussions for us next year if we were planning on moving on from them both?

I don't think he accomplishes much. I think it's about the only way he may decide to sign here in 2017 absent overpaying, coming in and having a little time to train with the guys. This would not be a move for this year

I support bringing him in and letting him test drive the team to see if we could sign him an a FA. He is better than anyone on our roster not named Sammy. We paid Harvin to play for two weeks, i don't see we wouldn't pick him up

I just think it would be endlessly more entertaining if we were to lose. The roof would blow off the stadium, this board would crash. If we win, we beat a terrible team, meh. That said, I'd rather win since mathematically it is not IMPOSSIBLE for us to make it to the playoffs. As soon as playoffs are not mathematically an option we're all just here for the sideshow.

I don't feel like he has any real credibility amongst insiders. It is clear his reports are just fodder for the 24 hour news cycle to keep churning. He made several claims this weekend and both of them wound up being patently false.

Here is my one bit of concern over your statement. How can they already have been deep in contract negotiations if, with a win yesterday we would have been in the playoff hunt? Also, what does your source say about the front office? Staying intact?

I'm not watching any more Bills games. Super excited this team "will not quit" and "will do everything to win all the rest of our games", netting us a worse draft pick next year should they actually manage to make good on a single promise to us this year.

In that case you would be incorrect. Rex was hired because he is a defensive-minded coach and the general view was that he would keep our defense near the top of the league and keep us in games with a decent enough offense. Rex's defenses have been terrible. he did not do what he was hired to do. If you purchase a phone and it doesn't make calls but gets internet reception that phone isn't "not as bad as some people think it is", the phone is broken. Rex was hired for defense, his defense sucks, Rex is broken.

The fact that some of the older people on this board don't understand twitter metrics are analyzed and used in many business decisions just goes to show how after a certain age you kind of become an irrelevant fossil yelling at the wall.
