  1. Because my Dad is a Bills fan and raised me as one. Unfortunately once I pick a team I don't switch off my fandom just because they stink. I expect it's a similar story for most fans who don't live in Buffalo.
  2. I don't agree that his benching necessarily means we are not keeping him next year. Benching him gives us the flexibility to choose whether or not to keep him and yes we are probably not pushing to win this game too hard so need need to start him. Hire a HC and ask HIM what he wants to do with TT. His contract cap hit next year is not so high that we NEED to get rid of him, so keep him around and let our new HC make the call on whether or not he wants to give it a go with TT.
  3. Do NOT get fired for underperforming? He's a defensive coach with a terrible defense and poor game management skills. Exactly how do you know that was done as a humiliation tactic? Were you in the room? Is Tuesday a particularly more offensive day than Wednesday or Thursday to you? Anthony Lynn has been on the top coordinators to watch for HC jobs lists for half the year. Please name 4 REALISTIC options that you think would be so much better. Hi If this is true it's actually worrisome. The guy may have been incompetent but players all around the league have loved playing for this guy. This makes our locker room sound a bit toxic. You need a hug bro? I've rarely seen someone feign this level of righteous indignation. You realize you're upset about a below average coach and football is still just a game right?
  4. You had a 50% chance of being right in your guess, he was fired, no proof he already knew
  5. You've always been delusional, but this is the dumbest thing I've seen on here in a while
  6. This team is gutless. Beyond McCoy everyone can go
  7. Despite the record, no one who watches this team could possibly believe this team is trending up.
  8. I have a feeling everyone is coming back next year and Whaley AND Rex both get the "playoffs or else" ultimatum. We will be mathematically eliminated in November and finally drop the hammer
  9. Super encouraging game... for those who want Rex gone
  10. Unassailable logic. It's not like we've had any players who have played while nicked up in the past 2 years only to make things much worse and miss even more games as a result, right?
  11. Whaley and Brandon should be 1a & 1b. How did we ever go into this season with absolutely no one behind Watkins and Woods? I mean WRs 3+ are a collection of practice squad players at best. Rex goes second. I have switched my tune completely on TT, I don't have any faith in him as a legitimate QB. That said, if we get rid of the other three deplorables I'd actually be ok with a new coach keeping him on at QB to see what he can do next year.
  12. http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/14/sammy-watkins-will-second-surgery-foot-tweaking-hurting-wants-play-buffalo-forever/ Why is he playing with half a foot on this lame duck team if there is a chance it could lead to offseason surgery? Are we never going to have him for a full season and training camp?
  13. I'm just kind of over most all of the players on this team and I think that's a growing sentiment here. I don't think I can remember a time when there was pretty much no one on the roster I would be upset about if they cut. It's easier to dislike these guys when they go making dumb assertions in a year we're already not going to the playoffs. It's the same reason why no one felt bad for Tyrod when he got all pissy with the media. The whole team should just shut up for the rest of the year, play hard and feel like crap for failing yet again.
  14. I have little doubt we will limp to 9-7 and miss the playoffs and the team will spend all offseason trying to sell us fake hope that this team is anywhere near decent.
  15. I agree. I don't understand why the community here seems to believe everyone on the team needs to be a boy scout, people have problems. Also, I find it confusing how people can have such strong opinions about situations for which they were not present. The fan community here is what ran Marshawn Lynch out of town and they did it for 2 things that I could care less about. He actually had to go in and have a meeting with the sheriff about why he was getting singled out and harassed by cops. People blow dumb things out of proportion because they want to feel their opinions are important and they are all special snowflakes, I'm so tired of everyone's moral outrage.
  16. This is absurd. RB has no qualifications as a "football guy" beyond marketing the team. Whaley interviews, Whaley hires and Whaley gets fired if it doesn't work out. That's the only way to have accountability.
  17. Just be happy in your little job
  18. Press "it's been 25 years of no playoffs" Pegula "Not for us, for us it has only been 10 years"
  19. Point being that the GM needs to have the ability to fire the coach. Not doing that undermines his ability to be the GM and actually administer cap space. Too many cooks in the kitchen. So you're saying there's a chance?
  20. Here you go hammered: http://www.jimadler.com/blog/football-tailgating-party-injuries
  21. Made that statement great again for you
  22. I don't understand the Rogan reference?
  23. If I'm the GM and the coach who I know is about to be fired says "i'm going to risk a large portion of next year's cap in a meaningless game by starting this QB that may or may not have been on the team next year" I show some testicular fortitude and say no. If the coach pushes back I just fire him on the spot. Problem is we have a GM who is a glorified scout and I don't think he has any real power. If TT were really on the way out, if the coach were really on the way out then TT doesn't play anymore, simple. But this team is too worried about the perception of giving up on the season (this screams Russ Brandon) so I can't really get a read on our FO and why the heck they would allow this. When a team is used to failure, they revert back to doing what they've always done at the end of a season: selling hope for the future. This FO WANTS to finish 9-7 even if it costs us draft position and we miss out on the playoffs because they want to spend the offseason saying "we had a winning record" "the Defense is close". Watch them keep Rex instead of pulling the plug on him because they want to announce another season ticket record. Between Rex admitting he panicked and started calling defensive plays himself that the team hadn't even practiced and our players arguing with coaches on the sideline, this team is officially coming apart. If they don't clean house fans should boycott the team next year. But we won't because we love football too much so we will likely remain mired in mediocrity.
