  1. I'm just kind of over most all of the players on this team and I think that's a growing sentiment here. I don't think I can remember a time when there was pretty much no one on the roster I would be upset about if they cut. It's easier to dislike these guys when they go making dumb assertions in a year we're already not going to the playoffs. It's the same reason why no one felt bad for Tyrod when he got all pissy with the media. The whole team should just shut up for the rest of the year, play hard and feel like crap for failing yet again.
  2. I have little doubt we will limp to 9-7 and miss the playoffs and the team will spend all offseason trying to sell us fake hope that this team is anywhere near decent.
  3. I agree. I don't understand why the community here seems to believe everyone on the team needs to be a boy scout, people have problems. Also, I find it confusing how people can have such strong opinions about situations for which they were not present. The fan community here is what ran Marshawn Lynch out of town and they did it for 2 things that I could care less about. He actually had to go in and have a meeting with the sheriff about why he was getting singled out and harassed by cops. People blow dumb things out of proportion because they want to feel their opinions are important and they are all special snowflakes, I'm so tired of everyone's moral outrage.
  4. This is absurd. RB has no qualifications as a "football guy" beyond marketing the team. Whaley interviews, Whaley hires and Whaley gets fired if it doesn't work out. That's the only way to have accountability.
  5. Just be happy in your little job
  6. Press "it's been 25 years of no playoffs" Pegula "Not for us, for us it has only been 10 years"
  7. Point being that the GM needs to have the ability to fire the coach. Not doing that undermines his ability to be the GM and actually administer cap space. Too many cooks in the kitchen. So you're saying there's a chance?
  8. Here you go hammered: http://www.jimadler.com/blog/football-tailgating-party-injuries
  9. Made that statement great again for you
  10. I don't understand the Rogan reference?
  11. If I'm the GM and the coach who I know is about to be fired says "i'm going to risk a large portion of next year's cap in a meaningless game by starting this QB that may or may not have been on the team next year" I show some testicular fortitude and say no. If the coach pushes back I just fire him on the spot. Problem is we have a GM who is a glorified scout and I don't think he has any real power. If TT were really on the way out, if the coach were really on the way out then TT doesn't play anymore, simple. But this team is too worried about the perception of giving up on the season (this screams Russ Brandon) so I can't really get a read on our FO and why the heck they would allow this. When a team is used to failure, they revert back to doing what they've always done at the end of a season: selling hope for the future. This FO WANTS to finish 9-7 even if it costs us draft position and we miss out on the playoffs because they want to spend the offseason saying "we had a winning record" "the Defense is close". Watch them keep Rex instead of pulling the plug on him because they want to announce another season ticket record. Between Rex admitting he panicked and started calling defensive plays himself that the team hadn't even practiced and our players arguing with coaches on the sideline, this team is officially coming apart. If they don't clean house fans should boycott the team next year. But we won't because we love football too much so we will likely remain mired in mediocrity.
  12. I don't think Floyd is a bad egg. I've met him a couple of times and he was always really nice. We got to sit next to his mom at a game a few years back at ND and she was such a nice lady. He has a support system around him that can pick him up from this stupid mistake. You buy low on this guy and you have a solid #2 for the next 4-5 years.
  13. I'm starting to wonder if he is even really getting fired. Why would we start TT in a meaningless game that could have serious cap repercussions for us next year if we were planning on moving on from them both?
  14. So now I guess if we win he goes down as one of the greats amirite?
  15. this team is a solid 6 looks and a zero personality. Pretty hard to find a gf with that.
  16. Buffalo media is like the team they cover - lacking and the community deserves better.
  17. Seriously, if we win, who is going to be celebrating like crazy? Who even cares if we win if the playoffs are out of the question. Oh and also, if Tyrod is playing this week it seems like they may not be firing Rex after all. Why else would they jeopardize next year's salary cap to save an ex-coach's ego?
  18. I don't think he accomplishes much. I think it's about the only way he may decide to sign here in 2017 absent overpaying, coming in and having a little time to train with the guys. This would not be a move for this year
  19. I support bringing him in and letting him test drive the team to see if we could sign him an a FA. He is better than anyone on our roster not named Sammy. We paid Harvin to play for two weeks, i don't see we wouldn't pick him up
  20. I just think it would be endlessly more entertaining if we were to lose. The roof would blow off the stadium, this board would crash. If we win, we beat a terrible team, meh. That said, I'd rather win since mathematically it is not IMPOSSIBLE for us to make it to the playoffs. As soon as playoffs are not mathematically an option we're all just here for the sideshow.
  21. I don't feel like he has any real credibility amongst insiders. It is clear his reports are just fodder for the 24 hour news cycle to keep churning. He made several claims this weekend and both of them wound up being patently false.
  22. Now please blow out the candles on your career in Buffalo
  23. This guy isn't an NFL quarterback. He doesn't have the skill or temperament to win. Did you guys see Tom Brady lose his mind after an incompletion on a deep ball to Edelman? That's called being competitive. Tyrod lofts 3 terrible passes per series and then just goes to sit quietly on the sideline.
