  1. Nice to see you bring some facts into this rather than, you know, your opinion.
  2. We have the same top 5, though I'd probably switch Allen and Mayfield. I am in the "trade everything to move up and get Darnold or Rosen camp, so we're probably at odds there. Can you recall the last time picking the fifth best QB in the class worked out? How many drafts provide us with more than 2 starting quality QBs?
  3. Except it's not a bad comparison. You're talking about 2 guys with elite physical skills who can't be consistently good at passing the ball. I understand you'd get tired of it if you're a fan, but this guy is far from a finished product as a passer. I'd rather have someone with a more limited physical skill set who completes >65% of his passes consistently. The guy's completion percentages in college are 54, 56, 60 and don't let that 60 fool you, he completed more passes for fewer yards his last year, which means we're looking at more short-range passes.
  4. I don't want to draft a single skills position player before drafting a QB. To do so would be a complete waste. We've had decent WRs here and above average RBs - we haven't had a competent passer to distribute the ball to them since Kelly. We could have Hopkins and Brown at WR and they'd average 550 yds/ 6 TDs per year with the current stable of QBs.
  5. OP is delusional. Sad! This guy's not a refugee. He's the one who told everyone last offseason that we were getting rid of Shady per his "sources."
  6. If he were, you'd think he'd have a succession plan and his 2 coordinators wouldn't be leaving the team to be HCs elsewhere.
  7. Come on man! Never root for someone else to be injured!
  8. Glad he's gone. The guy makes 1 big play and gets burned for 5, then tells everyone he's a top 5 CB and wants to get paid like one. He's slightly above average.
  9. Sounds nice, but ALL evidence coming out through the rumor mill indicates that they are trying to shed the 2nd largest cap hit on the team. Glenn has a bad foot, they can't count on him. Your premise is based on the assumption he gets better and it doesn't seem like they think he will.
  10. It's not. It just messes up your point. We HAVE a LT in Dawkins, we will not be keeping our old LT unless he restructures his contract.
  11. You lost me at the first sentence. Everything after this general denial gem was just snow on my computer screen.
  12. I legit have no problem with what Favre said, I think he's hilarious.
  13. I'm gonna call this a win for those of us who enjoy the odd recreational headbutt.
  14. You mean you wouldn't be cool with this attitude?
  15. Pete Schrager? I dunno about douchey, he's more like an awkward hyperactive puppy who wants to hang out with the cool kids. I actually like him. He loves Buffalo and talks them up all the time. You should give the show a chance.
  16. This article is click-bait. He throws out a non-consensus pick now to generate interest in his position and will change his mind and have Rosen in there at #1 before the draft rolls around.
  17. I love GMFB and she's excellent on that show. One of the only sports-related shows I watch
  18. Maybe I haven't watched enough tape on Jackson, but I don't see them as the same type of player.
  19. What's his completion percentage again?
  20. Ditto. Smith isn't worth his salary. I'd rather pay Cousins
  21. Somehow I never pictured you not being a Stern fan, this fits.
  22. The guys is a faceless accountant, not the leader of the free world, he's probably pumped a player is tweeting him. You telling me if Shady tweeted at you that you wouldn't respond?
  23. Damn you for quoting me while I was in the middle of editing my post!
