Are the "inside sources" trustworthy?
ndirish1978 replied to simool's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do I believe people with "sources?" It completely depends on the way they present their information. I tend to believe the guy who suggested Dorsey may come here, at least I believe he presented the information he had and believed was true. Why? Because he admitted it could maybe not be true and just submitted it as info that he heard. Compare that to others who jump in and declare they know all the inner workings and fight with people who doubt them. I could be wrong, but that's just how I process things. People who come in looking for attention are in my experience, not prone to giving you unvarnished facts. If you have info, go route 1. -
Bills analytics department fired/restructured

Appreciate it. Sorry for coming off like a jagoff, you're well within your rights to post whatever you want and it's not my place to be a prick about it. -
Didn't Beane also say you take a guy where you value him? So if you value a guy at top 5 at their position (I believe he means league wide, not in this draft), then you go get him no matter what it costs. I feel like people are just looking at what was said and picking the part they want to emphasize as Beane's position.

Bro that's not what I said. I said it was their reasoning, not mine. I'm not gonna die on this hill, it's your board, do what you want. FTR I'm not one of the people constantly complaining about the TBN paywall. -
Is Steve Wilks Hiring Bad For Us

Sounds pretty glass half empty. We now have familiar relationships with not just the Chiefs, but the Giants and the Cardinals as well. I see that as a positive. -

Fair enough, you can rip on me for it, but the vast majority of boards I'm on don't allow this for the simple reason that shills for paid sites come in and start topics linking to paid articles. -
[Please Change Title]Kyle Lauletta

If we don't take someone in the top 3 I don't even want to think about drafting another "developmental" qb. We've been trying that garbage for 18 years and it's never panned out. -

There is zero point in posting an article that is located behind a paywall and then briefly alluding to what the article is about. I'll get a subscription to that newspaper when they get rid of 2/3 of their writers, so that's not happening anytime soon. Might as well retitle this thread "here's my take on a story a large portion of you won't ever read." -
If the Bills get a veteran QB...........
ndirish1978 replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Either way this draft will either set us up for the next 5 years or tank us for a minimum of 3. I'd LOVE it if we could figure out an Eagles-style trade up, to get Darnold and no t waste all our draft capital for him, but it's unlikely. I'd love it even more if we could just pay Cousins and draft a crapload of good players. Heck, we could trade up to 14-15 and get a premium DT/LB and still have 4 picks in the first 3 rounds. Most likely - we get someone like Alex Smith and draft the 3rd or 4rth best QB in a minor trade up scenario where we lose a 2. -
Recommend you look at the trade value chart if you're going to make trade threads.

I would 10000x prefer cold to heat. You can layer in cold, you can't remove your skin in the heat. That said, I live in a place that is spring all year, so I haven't had to deal with either in a while.

This is why I don't think there is any merit to the accusation. The media WANTS to report on this guy and they just can't get traction on it. I'm sure Florio over at PFT is throwing a hissy fit there's no updates because he's thought of so many passive aggressive digs he wants to use. Oh well, I guess he'll just have to keep up his ineffective campaign against "the Washington team"

I feel like this gets overlooked and is likely as much of a discouraging factor as the other 2.

This is the creep who cheered the dirty concussion hit? I wish that dude nothing but ill.

I mean, not only for responsibility's sake, just be a man and actually confront the person. Playing coy is such a passive aggressive beta thing to do it makes me nauseous. All he wants is to make a little comment and for people to imagine what It could have been. If the man said something to your face that offended you, punch him in the mouth then and there or in the tunnel on the way to the locker room. Can anyone see Bruce Smith or Mean Joe Greene sitting at their locker and whining to other people about what someone said to them? This world is getting so soft.

We are 5-6 players away from being there guys. They have depth at RB, we don't. They have really good LBs, we don't. They have at least 2 receivers capable of making plays on the ball, we have one and a half. they have a solid D-line and ours is a hot mess beyond Kyle.

The Time is Now McBeane!
ndirish1978 replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just a quick question: can time be overdue? Isn't time by nature, the measure of when something is due? -
Yannick Ngakoue's accusation is weak as hell. If you're going to accuse someone of something, then actually do so, don't play around like it's half-serious. This whole "he knows what he said" talk is weak garbage.

The first website I ever went to was Bills related, pretty sure it was bb.com, or it could have just been an altavista search for "Buffalo Bills." My dad got the internet at his office and it was a big deal so he picked me up one day after school and we headed over to where he worked and fired up netscape navigator and his 14.4 connection. A mere 15 minutes later I was able to see a very grainy picture of Thurman Thomas.
