Somewhat interesting comment in todays Kubiak column in BN about Allen on the 52 yard TD run. So it's not a fake slide as much as defenses think he's going to and let up. Does give him an advantage as if teams say I'm going to go after him hard they risk he does slide and then a penalty, but nothing illegal either by Allen. He almost did slide on the play and then decided to see if he could get a little more. I believe Allen was surprised at the lack of effort in bringing him to the ground and that also might have been because the Steelers anticipated a slide.

I'd like to keep one of them, since Poyer is still under contract, may be easier financially to keep him. My main reason to keep one is would rather not go through going pains of having two new safeties in one season. Draft a rookie fairly high for one spot, keep Poyer and then draft another one or sign a FA in 2025 to replace Poyer

Funny you should say that... In yesterdays Athletic there was a write on this in the weekly "Pick Six" column It shows that coaches call around 20% of their TO's with more than 5 minutes left in game. McD made the list, but many other what are considered good to very good coaches also made the list.

Yeah that's likely a big part of it and many are really bad throws into double coverage. Even in the final Miami game the 1st one was like what is he thinking. and the 2nd one had a guy open right away in flat which would have been enough for 1st down, but didn't take then throws int in endzone.

Agree with that part, but also add in third part, number of wins. Think it may be different too if Bills had lost 3 games instead to KC, Dallas, and Miami good playoff teams instead of Jax, NE, and Denver . Add to that the Int's Allen through in those games hurt his chances.

But what if a player is clearly standing up out of bounds a bouncing ball hits him the chest and now goes back into field of play. If it hadn't hit him it would have landed 5 feet OB, but now it's a live ball. So to make the rule simple, if it's touched by a player OB, the ball is OB

I'm sure all the fans in Baltimore would agree with you. The simple question to answer is if Josh Allen is significantly more valuable, why did he manage to lose two more games and likely had been three if last game mattered to Ravens. Take the Denver, NE, Jax games. If the Bills had won two of them good chance then Allen would be the MVP.

As Gene S the rules expert stated on the air, don't get hung on the exact words of "the ball was fumbled out of bounds." Did the Steeler players helmet glance off it. Did I clearly see it hit the helmet no, but can't say it didn't wither. The replay wasn't clear enough to say for certain, so without being able to answer that question it goes back to has to be clear evidence to overturn. It's one of those plays where if they had ruled Bills ball, it never would have been over turned the other way either. Should they have given a better explanation, yes I agree there and probably in a couple days will read somewhere what it was. But there were also a number of calls that went against Pitt that could have easily been called. If I were a Steeler fan II'd be furious on that DH call that went against them late. The announcers were all saying, the ball was un-catchable. So the refs talked for about two minutes and figured out, lets change it from PI to DH, then the Steelers can't argue it couldn't be caught. To me the ball was in the air when contact was made which means the right call would be PI.

I will say one thing about Diggs, I do think he is still a great WR, but is very comical to watch him try to block downfield. If I were a defensive player and I had a choice between taking on Diggs or Allen to shed a block, I'd prefer taking on Diggs every time.

Definitely agree on punter competition or just sign or draft someone who has better stats. Kicking think it's hard to bring in competition for a guy who is 85% lifetime and is still pretty young so it's not like his leg has worn out. Since this thread is about singers. Just curious recall Bon Jovi saying he'd never do a concert in Buffalo. Is that streak still standing or has he in more recent years relented and performed in western NY?

If they really wanted they could sign him for punting, but keep Martin active for holding, but means giving up a roster spot someplace else which may be hard to do with all the injuries.

He's 85% for his career which ranks him #25 lifetime out of a list of 178. So I think with those stats, he deserves a long leash. During the regular season he missed 2 that were 50+ and 3 40 to 49 yards. While the field looked real good on TV who knows how slick or frozen it might have been. Recall yesterday on one of the shows they were talking about, regardless how well they cleared the snow off the field, it was going to be frozen solid. Prior to this year, everyone was raving about him.

You could hope you could find a team to trade Tua to for an early 1st round pick. But then you're taking a chance on the guy you draft ends up being even as good as Tua is and likely will take a couple years for him to get there. By that point, the rest of the team has turned over Maybe you match him with a RB like Henry and mainly feature the run. It likely also has to be a team in warm weather or a dome. Miami did get lucky this year in that Tua didn't get hurt, will that luck hold out for another season?

He's saying you keep them in a heating device, maybe every 2 snaps bring in a new one out of the oven. The oven keeps them say at 70 deg.
