  1. Yeah as long as you meet in a private setting. I'm guessing here it was someplace in the open, maybe at the breakfast buffet. Likely started over who got the last piece of bacon, but evolved from there.
  2. will she be playing in the KC Open?
  3. And yet the 2024 offense scored more points which what's actually needed to win games. Again in FF the yards gives you points, but not in the NFL so being more balanced helps.
  4. How much did they run in 2020 and 2021, in 2020, was 80 less times and they are now averaging 30 yards more per game than back then and I'll bet if you looked at individuals, you'd find that if you take out the Allen rushing plays the difference may be between 40 to 50 yards per game. So yes if you want to go back to just throwing the ball practically all the time, then Allen's stats would go up, but that is what would be nuts here to compare. It's a team sport, yes Allen is their best player, but running the ball more makes the TEAM better. Again we're not playing FF here!
  5. Agree, that's why they need to put their money and draft picks in improving the pass rush. 1000 more yards. LOL You could put JaMarr Chase on this offense and he likely would get 1000+ yards, but what will likely mean overall is the yest of the offense will end up with maybe 600 to 800 total yards less. In Fantasy, adding Chase adds 1000 yards, but sorry not here!
  6. Absolutely and that's why I don't think there's nearly as much of a need for a "true #1 WR" when you have an Allen or a Mahomes at QB, you can make lesser players around you look great. Would Chase and Higgins really be as good if their QB were Daniel Jones? Didn't the Bills get a #1 pick for Peerless Price from Falcons after he played with Bledsoe for a season or two, then didn't do much of anything in Atlanta.
  7. And that was the opinion last year and they score was it the 2nd most points in the league and Allen was in the top 10 in every category. Somebody caught all those passes he threw.
  8. Disagree, think you need to look at the those teams and see how many of those players drafted are still on the team. I'd imagine not too many so regardless of the QB situation, shows these teams just wasted their draft capital. Would also argue you don't need to spend a huge amount of draft capital on WR's when you have a great QB. Shakir was what a 5th round pick. Do you think he'd have looked half as good if he were on the Giants? Lets see how Hollins does this coming year. The Bills also drafted 2 TE's in Knox and Kincaid which should be factored in. And did the trade for Diggs count or not, or did Sharp only count players actually drafted??
  9. At least it would be easier to talk about if we had 3 2nd rounders and 2 3rd rounders
  10. That was Newtons problem, he didn't have the arm strength and once the big edge with his legs was done, he was done too.
  11. Haven't seen anything posted lately prior to the Milano pay cut, any idea how much the bills are currently under the cap by?
  12. Milano was 5th round pick I believe, could you get a comp pick for someone drafted that low?
  13. Watch he'll play lights out and cost more to resign him now if they wanted
  14. Think the guy they signed Thursday could be the return man or maybe they both make it if Codrington shows he can provide some abilities as a CB and same with the other guy at the WR position. Do think Davidson is on the team unless they still resign Morris. And o think there will be trades of picks as agree not that many roster spots available for rookies. Do think one more vet CB will be signed Yes agree, but too many posters here expect that to happen their rookie year and if not that player is be a bust.
  15. And yet as pointed out above, we had the #2 offense. The Bills are fine at WR and TE, probably will add a rookie with a mid round pick.
  16. My guess is it becomes a credit for the 2026 cap. A player could get suspended in November so can't factor it in this year. At end of year bonuses that weren't initially added into 2025 cap get added into 2026, this likely will count as a reduction against the total. And yes doesn't get paid when suspended.
  17. Well they do as the players don't get paid for those weeks. so if his salary was $1.7 mil, you'd take $600k off the top. Don't know if signing bonuses are somehow pro-rated into that, probably not??
  18. They've kept 5 the last few years so doubtful they go to 6. Add to that we have two good pass catching TE's when healthy and believe we led the league in times with 6 OL on field. Think if Kincaid had been healthy would have seen more 2 TE's sets last year. Plus they signed this guy yesterday not even going to try and spell his name who likely was signed more as a returner, but can also play WR. Think he may provide more as a WR than Coddington provides as CB so think he could stick on 53. Maybe Coddington will also stick if improves his coverage skills some as a backup CB. I think they draft a WR mid round to take Samuels place next year. The Bills were one of the top 10 offenses in the league last year, Palmer does fill one need they had at WR to better stretch the field. When you have a QB like Allen, you don't need all pro WR's on the team. There are always vets cut in September, if someone were to get hurt, could sign someone at that point. But without an injury, don't see a roster spot for anyone else but a draft pick
  19. And after about the 2nd or 3rd round many of us never heard of the player!
  20. Agree, why can't we sign guys named Smith or Jones, or Adams, something easy to spell. It's taken me 3 years to figure out how to spell Shakir! Not this guy and the DT we signed, forget it!
  21. Agree on Solomon, he could make decent jump this year.. Sure you can find a diamond in the rough, but expecting him to have even 4 sacks as a rookie is expecting alot. Bruce Smith only had 6 sacks his first year. This isn't in any way a knock on Beane, but assuming that diamond is out there, what makes you think the other 29 guys picking prior aren't going to find him first? There's alot of posters saying we should sign Cooper Kupp or some other WR or we should have traded for Metcaff, to me that would be a waste of money. Normally I'm not one to take a big risk but if they could improve the pass rush significantly for 2025, could mean a SB, where as the odds of a rookie in 2025 making even close to a difference is much lower IMO. For those reasons I'd go for. I doubt it will happen, but you never know. No one expected Miller signing either.
  22. So if you were a GM would you have waited till round 4 to select Crosby if you knew he was going to be that good, or round 3 for Hendrickson, or let Tom Brady go to round 6? If your argument is that Beane needs to pick better and get that guy, then that tells me right there that all 32 GM's were all clueless as they passed on these guys and could have easily gone to another team. To expect Beane to be that much smarter than 32 other guys in the room is totally unrealistic. What it does tell me that these guys got lucky and so could Beane, but then you're betting 100% on luck. I don't disagree with it being very risky to pay some elite pass rusher a ton of money, but to expect the Bills to select that elite guy when 29 other GM's had a chance prior it telling me you're putting everything on pure luck.
  23. Both are pure speculation at this point as Garrett signed. I do feel that in the NFL players are often traded for much less than initially thought mainly because NFL GM's value draft picks more than their own children and try like hell to not give them up as compared to the NBA where they hand them out like candy. Also think after Monday, teams have spent much of their available cash so likely what the Bengals wand and what they now can get goes down. OK, but then in 4 years Bills are in the same boat or let him walk and hope to strike gold again. Like a report I read last week stated. For a player like Groot, picked 30th, he's about what you'd likely get talent wise. It's dumb luck to get that elite guy at #30 as means 29 other GM's were all to dumb to pick him and/or we just got lucky. To expect to get that guy isn't that likely this year either even is a deep class. Also think it's a bit different when arguably the Bills very well may be having an elite pass rush away from winning the SB. If I were a team like Saints, Raiders, Carolina, I wouldn't bother going after him as by the time you get rest of roster fixed, Hendrickson may be over the hill. Add to that even if the did somehow draft that elite guy who turns out to be even better than Bruce Smith, the likelihood of that happening in year 1 or 2 is very low. It took Smith until around his 3rd year to be considered great. Recall early on he was not all that good against the run.
  24. I'm thinking they may draft a true nose tackle type like that kid think he played for Michigan?? Could see him starting as rookie, but on likely passing passing plays Ogunjobi comes in for him so have Groot, Oliver, Ogunjobi, and Bosa rushing the passer.
  25. Before the start of free agency easier to ask for more. Now most teams have cashed in, little money left to pay anyone, less interest so teams selling usually end up taking less.
