  1. Just saw a listing of times for next weekend that looks correct
  2. Is it past your bedtime??
  3. Just read an article that said Milano, Johnson, Bernard were out and Shakir got hurt in Q1 and didn't return. Other question is who may have been out for Ravens???
  4. Don't think there is a Sunday night game, Think NBC has Saturday night game instead. Sunday is 3:00 & 6:30 starts I believe??
  5. That's true, didn't think about them playing Monday. So unless CBS can "protect" playoff games, I'll bet Bills/Ravens are Saturday night
  6. And this is the game we're talking about, today!
  7. CBS had 2 games this weekend, Fox only one. So my guess is Sunday at 6:30 will be Fox game so not likely an AFC game. Think NBC will have the Saturday night, Fox the early Sat and late Sunday and CBS the "early" 3L30 on Sunday. Saturday night likely either the Bills/Ravens or maybe Lions/Vikes (assuming Vikes win) but NBC did have that same game last week so maybe will want Bills instead
  8. Yes but when up as much as they were as late in the game as it was, not problem with taking on the defensive side either. It broke the little momentum Denver had too.
  9. The other thing they did today on almost every kickoff. Bass kicked off the ball low so it first hit in the "landing zone" and then rolled into the endzone, most of the time resulting in touchbacks. But if the ball first touches in the "landing zone" and results in a touchback, the team starts on the 20 instead of the 30. Last week Bass apparently practiced this on a couple of kicks, one landed short of landing zone which resulted in team taking ball at 40. So a bit of risk/reward, but today he didn't miss on any of them. Didn't realize this was even a rule until the 3rd quarter after the Bills FG, there was a touchback and Denver started on 20
  10. Well players can quit at halftime, so yeah why not! At least McD does have personal experience with this.
  11. I wonder, did the old man ever pay back Ralph?
  12. I wonder would it be in 2025 or for 2026 draft? Thinking likely they need to wait out entire signing cycle which sometimes doesn't happen till after the draft (see Beane) so probably 2026?? And if he were to get fired prior to the 2026 draft do they lose them?? We are talking Titans here
  13. Just read an article about that the other day. Said while they are not obligated to, generally the agent of the player will notify the team the payer is currently on their PS and tell them, hey the Eagles are going to sign Cline, will you match (and match means need to sign to active 53) They can say yes or no. And player has the option to say thanks but no thanks like a guy like Hyde would likely do. Didn't sound like the Eagles need to initially notify the Bills either, the word would more come from the agent.
  14. Likely very little as even he played to the final gun, the majority of the time he's just been handing the ball off to Davis. Trubisky and White threw 37 passes all season and 32 of them were this past week. So 5 other passes were thrown. Even if you assume they'd have had Allen throw more, maybe 10 passes instead and completed 7 , maybe 100 yards more. If you change the title to How much better would Josh Allens stats be if the Bills played 17 nail biters cause the team sucks then you may see significantly higher numbers, otherwise, very little difference
  15. Yeah I get it but still. The counter that is for a punter to go to San Diego State and get as much hype as he did, must have been pretty good. Didn't seem to hear as much about this other guy.
  16. How did someone get drafted higher than the punt God?
  17. The same could be said for Buffalo when they hired McD, (but it worked out very well (in spite of what some posters here will say) So you never know, they could get lucky, but odds are against them as more than half of new, never prior HC's fail when given their first HC job. You could hire a re-tread, but in some cases they were fired the first or even second time due to a weak overall roster particularly at QB Andy Read comes to mind. But again most of the re-treads are there for a reason.
  18. Not bad except I'm not sure the one and 2 seed getting 2 weeks off is a real benefit as not playing for 2 weeks a team could become stale. I'd stick to the Saturday/Sunday schedule as playing over 4 days, too much of an advantage to the teams getting 10 days off vrs the team playing the game on Sunday. Understand too, not that those two would face each other in following round, but still too much of a difference. Also now to the point of half the teams make the playoffs, as bad as NBA/NHL
  19. Trying to recall who was the person, believe it was in a "GM" type role who turned down job in Buffalo because it "was going to be too big of a lift" he said?? Was it Tom Donahoe? Seems like it was more recent than him as he left almost 20 years ago??
  20. McCarthy become s free agent next week. The fact the JJ hasn't resigned him makes me think he's just going to let him walk, kind of take the easy/cheap way out.
  21. Is that John Harbaugh, man did he get old looking. Must be from coaching Lamar
  22. Yes but that was likely so Martin could get the bonus $$
  23. Exactly! Likely a dozen current players won't even be on next years team and half will be gone in less than 3 years by the time this coming draft class could make a significant difference. Same with the coaches many of them will be gone, so they are all playing to win. Roster limitations make it tough to tank one game. There's a lot of tanking in NBA, but they teams start the process with around 20 games left in season. Even there the players are still giving their all. (well maybe not Jimmy Butler)
  24. Agree, everyone who argue for firing McD every year seems to forget that many more of these hot names fail than succeed. Bills were actually lucky in that McD has done very well, they are the exception. Of the retreads, the only one that has worked out was Reid. Look at Pederson, won a SB, and since fired twice. Well the number of openings seems to be dwindling as not as many expected firings. Giants and Miami not changing. Don't think Brady is at the top of the list either. Right now 4 openings I believe and the top names are Vrabel and likely Ben Johnson?? And to my first comment, Brady could just as easily be one of these names that fails as a HC.
  25. I wore a brand new Bills shirt I got for Christmas. It's the only long sleeve one I had, figured this was a game that didn't mean much so I'd try it out. Don't worry though, no plans to wear it for the post season
