For comparisons sake, he produced more in his limited amount of time, than Mario Haggan ever did and Haggan is a starter for the Broncos. Haven't watched much of the Falcons, but they undoubtedly run a different offense than us. Fitz gets the ball out quick, so Clabo wouldn't be a liability if he were wearing the red, white, and blue. Yep. There's a reason why Jason Peters remained a TE until the final cuts - he would've been too raw as an OL, but not raw enough where another team wouldn't have realized his potential. Peters wasn't ready to step in, even as a RT, but there's always a team out there in worst shape. A team that would be willing to invest the time if a project shows great potential. This is why I believe Jasper was hidden at the DT position. He showed next to nothing, yet made it to the final cuts AND the practice squad. I have to believe the coaching staff saw his potential as an OL much earlier than a few days ago...

This actually makes perfect sense. Jasper knew very little and produced even less at DT, yet made it to the final cuts. The FIRST practice after cut down day, the coaching staff immediately gets an epiphany and realizes, "Jasper's best position is probably on the offensive side of the ball." There was no epiphany ladies and gentlemen. Realizing he'd be raw, the Bills didn't work him at OL from day 1, because he would've taken a roster spot away from someone who was more NFL ready. Why would he have made the 53? Because he no doubt would have showed more promise and had better production, if he had played his college position (OG), rather than playing DT. In essence, the Bills didn't allow the rest of the league to see if he had any promise on the OL. This works directly in their favor.

Everyone seems to say the Brett Favre hit was Moats best play of the season. It wasn't, it's just the most noteworthy due to the other party involved. His best play was when he beat all pro LT Jake Long to strip Chad Henne of the football. Said Moats, "I watched some of the things he did on film and thought I could take advantage out there. It was a big play." Does Kelsay beat Jake Long on any given day? Ever?

This obviously makes him the highest paid running back in the league and will affect the contracts of other top runners, but how does it compare to what he was asking? He originally wanted top 5 money, REGARDLESS of position! Did he achieve his wish? I was going to complain about my laborious 10 hour shift in rescuing my basement apartment from going under and then I saw these photos... Welker was an UDFA and was cut by the Chargers after the first game of the season I believe.
