  1. That's too bad but I get why. I kind of hoped they would keep the lower bowl for high school, college, soccer, etc, but you don't need two stadiums in one spot.
  2. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/the-buffalo-bills-new-stadium-is-designed-with-the-world-s-largest-heated-roof-to-withstand-buffalo-s-snowfall
  3. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/highmark-stadium-making-serious-push-host-future-nfl-draft Considering recent drafts have drawn close to 300,000 people I'd like to see how they pull this off in Orchard Park.
  4. The Sabres are expected to keep up with the rest of the NHL. The league doesn't want it's franchises charging AHL prices, no matter how bad they are. But like I said, they dropped prices on their lowest priced season ticket to $23/game next year. And they're didn't raise prices to anyone who renewed. Probably after the Bills turn back into pumpkins, when they can't find the next Josh Allen. But this franchise has always seems to luck out at the right time. Remember back in 1998 when they added 100 luxury boxes that had to sell or else the team suggested they could move? Along comes Doug Flutie to bring the excitement back to the Bills and all those boxes sold. The new Highmark is literally the house Josh Allen built.
  5. Hats off to the UB women who came back on Big Ten Rutgers and advance to the WNIT "Fab Four." Deepest postseason run for any WNY school in some time
  6. Not really. Prices have remained static, and even got cut this year.
  7. Exactly. But they have your money. I've heard they are tearing down and filling in the old stadium. But then I heard they might keep the lower bowl intact to use for events. 🤷‍♂️ I figure they will bus players across the street. The last thing you need is for Josh Allen to get hit by some yahoo while crossing Abbott.
  8. I knew PSLs were in the Bills future and I stashed money to save up for them. $2500 is the ballpark of what I expected. But my larger concern in the cost of the tickets. Will I be paying a thousand more each year for those?
  9. How are we going to deal when he does something good?
  10. On a windy November? You bet.
  11. It's a toss-up between him and his brother Bobby.
  12. The one advantage of a steep balcony, more room for my knees.
  13. They will get more then they do now.
  14. Your friend probably has more expensive seats. They are going by seat cost, then seniority. They absolutely need to do every season ticket holder before they get to the wait list.
  15. I took your advice. I googled it. The answer is totally different. The Bills are now on the hook for over a billion. https://www.google.com/search?q=break+down+the+financing+for+the+new+highmark+stadium&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS946US946&oq=break+down+the+financing+for+the+new+highmark+stadium&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRigATIHCAQQIRirAjIHCAUQIRirAjIHCAYQIRifBTIHCAcQIRifBTIHCAgQIRifBTIHCAkQIRifBdIBCTEwMDUxajBqN6gCCLACAfEFIjfLc2Qp8C8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 The financing for the new Highmark Stadium, initially estimated at $1.4 billion, is a mix of public and private funding, with the state of New York contributing $600 million, Erie County $250 million, the NFL loaning $200 million, and the Buffalo Bills covering the remaining $350 million. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Total Cost: The initial cost estimate was $1.4 billion, but has since ballooned to over $2.1 billion. Public Funding: New York State: $600 million. Erie County: $250 million. Total Public Funding: $850 million. Private Funding: Buffalo Bills: $350 million. NFL: $200 million (via a G-4 loan).
  16. Actually stadium acts avoid Highmark because it only has one narrow access to field level, slowing down the process of building and tearing down stages. Bands want to get in and out. If Taylor Swift or Dead & Co was playing at Highmark, people would travel hours to see the show. So local population is not a deterrent.
  17. I'm a 24 year STH'er and still haven't gotten my call. I'd be pissed if waiting list folks got invited before me.
  18. You act like drafting players is like ordering from a menu. Nothing is guaranteed.
  19. They really blew it by not involving UB football in a new stadium project. A convention center/stadium for two football teams/ maybe a new arena to boot. Plus commercial development. You should see what Boston did with the area around TD Garden.
  20. I'm glad you posted this because until you brought it up, no one thought of doing this. Not other NFL GMs, no one. We should absolutely get another teams high pick (because why would a team say no) and only get a game changing player. (Be sure to check the label.)
