  1. The public share was $850MM. Not an inconsequential sum but only 38% of the full $2.2B (and still climbing) price tag. I'd say Terry has the right to move one game since he's spending more of his money. But again, Toronto doesn't have a suitable NFL venue.
  2. I always thought Justin Fields had the potential to be a good QB. In fact I wanted the Bills to make him Josh's backup instead of Mitch Trubisky.
  3. If building a $2.2B palace isn't enough commitment the problem might be you.
  4. I don't think Candy did that. But his dad died from a heart attack at 35, so cardio issues ran in his family.
  5. I'm going to see Fu Manchu tonight at the Sinclair in Cambridge MA, near Harvard. Then I'm in Buffalo Oct. 7 to see Stereolab at Babeville. I also found out AFI and TR/ST are playing Buffalo Riverworks on Oct. 6. 🤔
  6. I only recently learned that Creed Bratton on the Office was the same Creed Bratton who was the lead singer of the Grassroots.
  7. Oh man, memories of my youth on the east side. The local candy shop/five n dime would let gallons of cider ferment out back and they'd sell it to us delinquents. We'd empty a big packet of Wyler's (a competitor of Kool Aid) into that plastic jug and shake it up before we drank it in some alley. We'd all end up throwing that vile concoction up. 🤮 Anything for a cheap high.
  8. It doesn't hurt those folks either...unless they want to be irrational about it. This is just paying some attention to a huge neighboring city that is in your footprint. Not that different from when training camp was moved to the Rochester area.
  9. Well, you really don't have a stadium that can host an NFL game anywhere in the country. Not Rogers Center. BMO Field is too small. BC Place in Vancouver maybe? Or how about a preseason game at Tim Hortons Stadium in Hamilton?
  10. Overreact much? The NFL already plays games at neutral sites. What is the difference if a game is played in Canada, Brazil or Germany? The Bills have to play them like every other team. It doesn't mean they are moving. FFS they built a new stadium!!!
  11. 41-40 is a popular score.
  12. If that was their goal, why spend $1.4B of their own money on a stadium in OP?
  13. What is the diff between playing in London or Germany from playing in Canada?
  14. That was surprisingly close. 31-28 UB. Kent State showed up today but UB answered, coming back from a 14-0 deficit.
  15. UB plays at woeful Kent State Saturday at noon. The game will be televised on CBSSN. This contest may be barely more competitive than the St. Francis U game. All I'm hoping to see is competency on offense. Dominate the Flashes. (😂 I just realized UB is playing two "flashes" in a row. Kent are the Golden Flashes and SFU are the Red Flashes.) I also expect UB to not show much of it's playbook once again so another boring game is likely.
  16. Since I'm from far away, I gave my tickets to a friend.
  17. Let's hope it is the next 5-degree playoff game.
  18. I'm more concerned with the balcony being above me because I want some of that heat from the concourse raising the temp at my seats. A low balcony makes that more likely.
  19. You're in 124. That's my section. Gotta ask, how many rows are covered? When I bought mine the virtual view appeared like I was under the balcony. 2nd row from the concourse.
