  1. 95 wins? 5 AFC East titles? 6 straight playoff appearances? What a cluster****, am I right? 🙄 You can't win a Super Bowl unless you get this close.
  2. Valid point. But adding to the talent pool on that side seems to be a good idea, no?
  3. And why do we keep losing games to Mahomes? Lack of scoring? Last 4 Bills/Chiefs playoff games Buffalo scored 24, 36, 24 and 29 points. I don't see a lack of scoring. But KC scored 38, 42, 27 and 32 points. Hmmm, I wonder what's causing these losses? 🤔 That interview with Pat McAfee spells things out as plain as day: Beane believes teams win in the trenches. Jeremy White, on the other hand, thinks games are won on the long ball. One man's job is to build a winning football team and the other guy flaps his gums for 4 hours a day.
  4. And why is that? You think it's because we are missing a WR1. I say it's because of Chris Jones.
  5. Jeremy White can make all kinds of noise about his WR train because his job doesn't depend on him being right. Beane's job does. That's the difference.
  6. No but defense, especially DL was a pressing need NOW. What does next year's WR class look like? If the D is better this year, expect some WRs drafted then.
  7. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/esiason-multiple-owners-told-their-teams-to-take-shedeur-sanders-off-the-board
  8. Okay, now that we've cleared that up, do you still stand by this statement? Meanwhile some here are like...
  9. Beane made a very important point about Mack Hollins. One year ago today no one knew or cared about Mack Hollins. He was just a special teams JAG as far as everyone in Billsland was concerned. But now? He's irreplaceable!! The point is trust those making the decisions because we don't know who the next Mack Hollins will be. I'm sorry. I didn't know Brandon Beane was running the Panthers draft. Didn't they have a GM?
  10. This statement is absolutely nuts. Beane does not need to justify his actions to anyone, including Jeremy White.
  11. Here's another wise quote, from Marv Levy I believe: "If you start listening to the fans, you'll be sitting with them...in the 300's."
  12. After three months of mock drafts, everyone is convinced they are NFL GMs.
  13. Lol, no. It also means you're sick and tired of clowns telling you how to do your job.
  14. "Why doesn't Beane value defense?"
  15. 5 AFC East titles, you'd think that would earn you some cred. But everything is measured by championships, so that makes you a failure.
  16. I disagree. The drafts fell the way they did. You think you're seeing trends.
  17. That isn't pressure. That's having enough of the BS. That's hitting your limit of clowns telling you how to do your job.
  18. It's easy being a bully, and that's all Jerry Sullivan and his ilk are. They don't have answers. Their job is to make you angry. That is about the ugliest way to make a living: stoking anger. Don't act like there's any bravery involved.
  19. This is nonsense. You don't draft by quota.
  20. Ha, only in the media's mind. There's no pressure on Beane. And anyone thinks it's time to clean house deserves the Bills having a 25-year playoff drought.
  21. And that's the ugly side of this fanbase. The belief like their entitled to championships but the coach/gm/owner/whoever is denying them that. You hit the nail on the head. In a weird twisted way, we love failure. We love to complain. We don't know what to do with ourselves when things are good, so we keep moving the goalposts and act like this is all still failure.
  22. Jerry is a pompous ass.
  23. He's feeling like "wtf do I have to do besides win a super bowl to make this town happy?"
