  1. I can't believe how slow the process is. I'm in the "Rockpile" 200's. And it might be another year before they get to me.
  2. I don't know. Probably not if they are striking over that.
  3. These are people who bought season tickets for years when they sucked. Nice reward for your loyalty.
  4. So the NFL is telling loyal fans in London they can no longer buy their season tickets for London Series games. The excuse is the league wants other fans to have access to games. But the reality is those tickets are getting sold to US travel agents for excursion packages, which defeats the whole purpose of international games. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nfl-ends-season-tickets-for-london-games-at-tottenham-hotspur-stadium
  5. Money is part off the issue, but health insurance coverage is a big thing. Imagine you get injured in a game late in the season and your heath coverage ends with the season? Your surgery and rehab is out of your pocket. That's BS.
  6. My current favorite combo is white pizza with garlic, spinach, tomato and feta.
  7. You risk your body playing football. The least the league can do is keep your health insurance in force after the season. That's one of the issues.

  9. There are 20 players in the NFL right now that played spring ball. Every year a hundred spring players at least get invited to an NFL camp. https://www.theufl.com/news/ufl-to-nfl-numbers-continue-to-make-a-significant-impact-in-the-nfl
  10. Agree with top 4. I don't think Flutie was top 5. Tyrod, Bledsoe and Fitz should be higher. Can't think of anyone I'd add.
  11. That's the leverage. They have the league by the balls. Despite the jokes, the UFL did reasonably well in the ratings. Well enough that Fox wants to do it this year. You might have noticed the promos for the UFL during NFL games. Sure, they could maybe get worse players to play but that would absolutely kill the league.

  13. I think the UFL is there to test these rules in real play. Not a bad thing.
  14. Player safety/liability is a big reason. The UFL is acting like a rules lab for the NFL. Who knows if this becomes an NFL rule?
  15. We want these particular millionaires happy. Apparently BUF can handle 747s.
  16. Until now, teams had the option of the traditional onside kick & scrum, or converting a 15 yard 1st down (in one play.) The UFL will now only allow onside-by-conversion, but shorten the line of gain from 15 yards to 12, from your own 28 yard line. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/ufl-ditches-onside-kicks-for-fourth-and-12-from-the-28
  17. I thought they fly charter? They can't configure the plane with more room and better perks? Thanks for answering my question
  18. I thought he stopped playing ten years ago.
  19. I think it depends how greedy the NFL becomes. They have a great thing going, so naturally the temptation is to find and squeeze every nickel out of it.
  20. Really no one knows what the future is going to be. So much uncertainty right now. I wonder if the NFL is convinced they are unbreakable?
