  1. Plus I have a hard time thinking he has the fire like a Josh Allen does. He's been daddy's golden boy forever.
  2. Don't you hate it when a stupid superstition comes true?
  3. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/trade-rumors-bills-predicted-to-land-84-million-2x-pro-bowler-blockbuster-draft-day-deal GB CB Jaire Alexander to the Bills. for this year's 4th and next year's 4th. I doubt we can swing this with our cap.
  4. He's more famous for being elected to Congress, serving as the HUD secretary under the first Bush presidency, and was Bob Dole's VP on the GOP ticket in 1996.
  5. This would be a great draft. Dolac is going to surprise people.
  6. Beane is a wizard! He traded Cordy Glenn TWICE to the Bengals so he can move up this draft!
  7. To me it is. Also being able to hear the officials discuss calls. I find it very interesting. At least you can understand why certain calls get made, unlike the NFL.
  8. I don't get this take. Yeah, they are both 4-down football but there are a ton of differences. The biggest is being able to hear coaches, players and referees live in-game. Then there's 1, 2 and 3 point-after TDs. (No kicking XPs.) The dynamic kickoff that the NFL adopted was created in the XFL (now UFL.) They also invented the 4th and 12 version of the onside kick.
  9. https://www.espn.com/united-football-league/story/_/id/44729619/new-ufl-cba-increases-minimum-salary-roster-size So the league and players finally reached a labor deal. It includes year-round health coverage and a small boost in salary and roster size.
  10. He was the foundational piece of this team. The turnaround from drought to contender started with him.
  11. I was just in MTL. Wish I saw this sooner.
  12. People hate Terry Pegula more than Jon Bon Jovi. Just goes to prove that trying to do something nice only earns you scorn. I said it the day he bought the Bills and everyone was fawning over him and Kim. I knew in a few years he'd be reviled, because that's just how it is. As for JBJ, I never cared for his music anyway. Otherwise he seems like a nice guy, beyond him trying to steal our team. (Sorry Jon, no matter what you say about it now, we know that was the plan.)
  13. Until they do leave.
  14. In a sense. The keep the league afloat because they want programming. And up until this year UFL, USFL, XFL ratings were good enough to keep going. Don't forget a lot of people bet on UFL games. (The bet on Polish ping pong, why wouldn't they bet on UFL?)
  15. A good baloney has plenty of fat that will melt out when you fry it. Don't cheap out on the baloney. Get something of quality.
  16. Leafs play the Sabres tonight. Normally that means 10-12K Toronto fans at Key Bank Center. But right now they're are thousands of unsold seats. Canadians aren't crossing the border now. That represents about 500,000 drop in market size for the Bandits and Sabres. It really raises the question if these franchises can survive with a big reduction in market. (The Bills will be hurt somewhat but they only play once a week. Sabres okay 2-4x a week.)
  17. Until it starts to get some char.
  18. So the channel are shot down until Friday 6pm ET. Round 2 starts this weekend. Almost all the same acts. (Except Ed Sheeran is in for Weezer.) Don't wait too long to watch replays. They seem to go away after 12 hours.
  19. Onion roll with Swiss cheese, peppers and mushrooms.
  20. Smash or Trash?
  21. This has the potential of being very very bad for Sabres and Bandits fans. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/local/buffalo-cant-afford-monumental-task-overseeing-keybank-center-if-erie-county-walks-away-lease-lawmaker-says/71-43b2e301-329b-4a10-bdb8-66befe7443e7
  22. In theory they are the same but in practice Beasley was a different player. Maybe it was because Allen was younger and greener as a QB when Beasley played, but he seemed to be Allen's break-glass-in-case-of-emergency guy. A WR you could count on to extend a drive.
