  1. I want to see numerous reports of trade talks for a WR.
  2. As of today the top 3 places I have him going to are: Atlanta Cincy Arizona Baltimore is my dark horse candidate
  3. Where's the poster who started that "maybe we should lose the turnover ratio" thread? 😡😡😡
  4. I think the "meaningless" can be interpreted a different way. Maybe "less concerning" is a better term. Of course the season victories play a role but when you're a legit superbowl contender over years; the season becomes just a long evaluation process. We can hang with anybody whether home or away in the playoffs. The glaring issue is this scheme. We've found various scapegoats for every iteration of it: Frazier, Edmunds, undersized LBs, corners not grasping concepts, safeties, lack of pass rush, can't stop the run, 3rd and long, bend but don't break, depth, McDermott should call it, etc... It's like someone throwing you a birthday party but you're uneasy because you know they're gonna smash your face in the cake. I say all that to say it's a very valid position for a fan of this team to take at this juncture.
  5. I just continue to hate the defensive scheme. I don't know how feasible it would be but I wish we could find a way to get Jim Schwartz back and hand him the keys.
  6. I know a lot of folks are thinking in terms of the present, but this very well might be our last go with this scheme. Brady was already interviewing for HC gigs this past season. He might have his pick of the litter this year with opportunities. There could be roughly 10 or so openings available (Tenn, Atl, Mia, Hou, Cle, Cin, Car, NYG, Ari, Bal). There's almost nothing for this team to add offensively (in any scheme) aside from a bonafide alpha talent at WR. It is a well oiled machine as long as Allen is at the helm and I will always be in favor of giving him top notch weapons.
  7. I believe the premise is flawed due to conflating PROBABILITY and ODDS. The ODDS will always be the same of winning or losing the turnover margin (50/50). This can only be factored in once a turnover is committed. It's irrelevant if no turnovers occur. The PROBABILITY of winning or losing the turnover margin has a slew of variables attached to it. First being that a turnover is committed. You cannot assign a predetermined percentage. Your example seems like we've flipped a coin, let it hit the ground and it has landed heads 25 times consecutively... So now on the 26th flip we'll catch the coin, see if it happens to land heads, then flip it to tails. Thank you because this gave me something to occupy my time until the early game starts
  8. I'm only on page 4 and I plan to read every single one because this was a special game I drank way more whiskey than intended from halftime til the final drive Keon quietly had 100+ yds and a TD 😂 I love this team! GO BILLS!!!!
  9. 14-3 #1 Seed AFCCG: BILLS>BRONCOS SB: BILLS>EAGLES Bonus prediction: I use my first vacation days of 2026 to make sure I'm in attendance for the parade
  10. Come on man...embrace the idea of Robbins Bask in it even... Get it? Bask n Robbins? Or maybe the marketing of Bass & Robbins was too good to pass up on. Now I want some ice cream
  11. You are officially invited to the war room. Don't mind all the whiskey bottles. It helps me lock in 😅
  12. I don't know if it's because of the last update to the site but I haven't been receiving my notifications. But I'd like to thank all those who nominated me. It feels good knowing that I have gained the trust of such a fine collective via my football acumen. There were so many others that could've been in this same situation and I don't take it for granted. I am humbled... Though I can't see it, I can feel the overwhelming support from you all and I am truly grateful beyond imagination.
  13. I think your initial response came off as it's gonna be a numbers game and thus there wasn't much justification for doubling down on DT. Personally I am all for at least 6 defensive players being selected; of which 2 being DT (more specifically a 1T) We need massive upgrades there and nobody on the roster currently makes me feel that we can ignore that position or not continue to invest in it.
  14. Win win in my opinion. A vet coming to a championship aspiring team who doesn't have to adjust to a learning curve. At minimum it opens up some different draft options and contingency plans goin forward for the reason listed above. Overall a solid move
  15. I feel that I'm obligated to push for this pick to happen because of how much I was in favor of actually getting Metcalf. Can't deny the metrics and the measurables. I hope we get him
  16. If I change my username to TSW Poll would I have the final say for our pick? 🤔
  17. BNP- Best Need Player? VLC- Very Logical Choice? 🤔
  18. The acronym for this thread is FART 🥸 I didn't have much else to contribute... I'll see myself out now
  19. We walk away with both of them and I think it transforms the defense immediately. That would be a pretty damn good starting point for a top tier defensive line for years.
  20. I personally would like him back and I still would like a WR drafted. While we have been looking for complimentary pieces for this particular offensive scheme, I think we still need to stockpile for when that isn't the case. On avg we switch coordinators every other year and I don't think Brady will be here beyond next season if he fields another top 3 offense (which is highly likely). Let's maximize everything we can now and have something worthwhile for the next coordinator to utilize when they implement their offense.
  21. I just started doing these yesterday. They're addictive but on my 2nd go around I went: 30. Kenneth Grant DL Mich 56. Landon Jackson Edge Ark 62. Elic Ayamanor WR Stan 109. Denzel Burke CB Ohio St 132. Jared Ivey Edge Miss 169. Jaylen Reed S PSU 170. Trevor Etienne RB Georgia 173. Chase Lundt OT UConn 177. Jackson Hawes TE Ga Tech 206. Kobe King LB PSU
  22. This counterpoint (while understandable) basically continues to move the goal post though. It instead needs to be absorbed into the mindset of what was already established. Going into '24 we jettisoned both our #1 & #2 WRs while taking some dead cap medicine immediately. The logic was that it would be a soft reset to gear up for this year offensively. We undoubtedly needed to get a prospect (most wanted at least 2) and we would look to add a FA weapon this year. Nobody anticipated to depend on Shakir, a hopeful ascension of Kincaid and a rookie. Yes last years offense worked exceptionally well but we still need upper echelon weapons aside from Josh who is a generational qb and makes any offense hum. The defense has had steady investment (25 picks since we acquired Josh, 11 in the last 3 years + FA acquisitions). We spent half of last years draft on it to address the same issues we've always had with it. We are long overdue on making sure Josh has what he needs. We essentially only gave him Diggs and a handful of hope. Supply him with the top tier weapons when available while retooling the defense (even though the scheme is primarily the issue).
  23. This is a spot on summary. When it's all said and done there are compelling points to be made in favor of either acquisition. Nobody is wrong in why they feel as they do. Great discourse nonetheless
  24. This is basically why I'm slightly more in favor of DK at the moment. If we turned the reigns of the defense over to someone else to implement a more effective scheme (i.e. Fangio with the Eagles) then it's Garrett no question. This scheme has never shown to be championship level in todays game. It relies on the secondary to produce coverage sacks when in reality the opposite is what is needed and proven to be effective. We would have to add arguably 3 or 4 players for it to get to a consistent level of effectiveness instead of being highly opportunistic. DK seems like an ideal fit for this offense and more than likely transcends with any offensive scheme changes sure to come soon (Brady might be gone in another year). Either way I hope we get one of the premium guys
  25. There is some nuance to the bolded sections that better represent why some are of the mindset of securing the offensive playmaker. 1. There's only one piece to go get on the offensive side. That one piece directly amplifies Josh's potential and efficiency during his prime. We will never get another Josh and I'm all for giving him top notch weapons to work with. DK is basically square peg to square hole. 2. Because it is only one piece, you can essentially toss almost every other resource into the defense this year and next honestly. 3. Yes the defense needs a pass rush but the scheme plays a big role as does personnel. We need almost an entire overhaul of the front 4 save maybe Rousseau. To use the Eagles success defensively is somewhat distorted because they had the luxury of acquiring 2 top 10 DT prospects in consecutive drafts while being a playoff team. This was after acquiring a top 10 WR prospect in addition to adding a top 10 WR in the league via trade. That's basically unheard of and will probably never be emulated again. But I am all for addressing the defensive side of things too, just let me stop at the store and grab this prototype WR right quick.
