  1. For those that complain about Beane so much and look at say a Howie Roseman as the blueprint are as contradictory as they come. They would've treated him the exact same way and wanted to run him out of town (he was largely hated in Philly for years). I'd argue that he has been worse than Beane with first round picks (drafting in general) during his comparative tenure(2017-now) and has had the luxury of not having to build up a team while in direct competition with 2 dynasties; as bigger contributions to how he is viewed. He also lucked into 3 top 15 picks (2 in the top 10) over the last 5 seasons as a playoff team or even winning their division. You give that to Beane and he'd be looked at as the top GM in the game too. Feel free to go look it up. Also look at his draft history from 2010 and on. This board would've shut down if Beane used a first round pick on a firefighter for an offensive lineman in his 2nd year. He has maybe 6 or 7 worthwhile 1st rounders to his credit since 2010.
  2. If we have a shot at DK we have to go for it. We are a cusp contender for the entirety of Josh's prime and we don't really have the luxury of not going for game changers anymore on either side of the ball. We also have proof of concept with Josh paired with an elite WR and DK checks literally every box of the prototype #1 for him. I absolutely would love one on defense but I also believe that we need an entire scheme change in addition to players to get to an effective let alone championship level. By all means still draft and retool the defense but the offense is actually closer to being put over the top with an acquisition. I'll be ecstatic with Garrett or Crosby to be clear but get DK if you can
  3. I'm 6ft 230lbs and I haven't even started my off season conditioning of continuous happy hrs and buffets I plan to measure in at 6'3 245 at the combine I could probably watch games during the season at 250 but I don't want to take away from my speed
  4. I would make the argument that an upper echelon DT impacts the pass rush which potentially stops drives; which in turn gives our already potent offense more opportunities to score. We severely need that in general let alone against KC. I know your point speaks to playoffs but there were about 5 games during the season where 20-25 points wins against them. We are constantly forced to get into a shootout with them because we barely make them punt. This is coming from a guy in full support of upgrading weapons for Josh
  5. I was attempting to limit the amount of good things I was saying about that team and forgot. Not to mention he drafted a HOF TE his first year there and then his generational qb a few years later has the luxury of walking right into that scenario. Their entire organization is benefitting from a mental burnout in Philly.
  6. There is a lot of nuance that is missing when it's summed up like this though. They legitimately haven't "run it back" for all intents and purposes for years. They have had different OC's basically every year. Same with DC. Our personnel gets poached almost annually. They haven't had the same players available (sometimes due to the very logical yet often maligned reason of injury) Different players have let this team down in crucial scenarios back to back years (whether elite or not). Essentially they've been in a situation where they have consistently won while mired in inconsistency. Yes the organization has its shortcomings and faults; however they are sensationalized when you're literally the only team in direct comparison and competition with a modern day dynasty that barely has to deal with any inconsistency; paired with an all time winning, certified HOF HC/OC. It's not the easiest task to just overcome that. It's frustrating but that's the reality of the situation. We still are the team that has the best chance to overcome that and I believe we will. *Prepares for backlash*
  7. Tonight we show the world who we are and get our respect! Let's f*ckin go Buffalo!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Which is the beauty and complexity of this offense. I still don't know exactly what game or set of games a team can focus on to say "This is what you key in on to stop the Bills" Literally any player on offense could be the most productive week to week. Hell Gilliam might mess around and have 4rec and a TD and I wouldn't be shocked at all.
  9. It's like deciding 5months in advance that I wanna take a trip on my birthday, and someone every single day randomly telling me it's not my birthday yet and everywhere I'm thinking about traveling to sucks 😂
  10. Feel how you feel but it's weird to consistently sign onto a fan message board week after week to update us that you don't have any hope and that's been your stance for months. At this point just give it a rest and let fans enjoy the season as it progresses
  11. Go BILLS!!!!! I would reveal my playoff ritual but it is very judge worthy and I don't wanna be judged Can't wait for next week!
  12. 🤔 I figured with that screen name...
  13. I know it was already insanely disrespectful to begin with but there's something about seeing that line today and being an underdog at home that irks me more than it did before. That's something you do to a 5 or 6 seed who may have caught lightning in a bottle, not to the only team who defeated both #1 seeds in each conference and is the #2. That has to be arguably the biggest motivational factor I can think of.
  14. I've decided to forego shoes a la Mack Hollins and I'm taking my shirt off when Fitz is shown as the legend of the game I want to be fully in tune I'll have my phone fully charged to stream the game in case this isn't an acceptable practice at the bar
  15. 30-21 BILLS Bills keep a comfortable lead majority of the game and just when the Ravens make a final push to get within one score Tucker misses a crucial FG
  16. I've mentioned it before, but it's somewhat interesting from a psychological aspect of the need for some fans to create a boogeyman. From the draft to the start of the season it was KC. Then after the unheard of 2 game losing streak it was the team was in shambles. Then after steadying the ship and defeating KC (the original boogeyman) it was DET. Now they've resorted to Balt currently being the unstoppable force while sprinkling in a few weeks of being lucky to have avoided Cincy. Forget the 13wins... Forget the #2 Seed... Forget the historic offense... Forget the health of the team... No matter the circumstances, there has to be a looming doubt attached to something. It's intriguing
  17. I believe we're on borrowed time with Brady as our OC. There are too many openings for HC this year and he's interviewing for pretty much all of them (Dallas aside for now). I think he will land one of them especially with a win next week. Ideally it would be nice to retain him for another year or 2 for continuity sake, especially after implementing a historic offense
  18. Our EE offense is truly a remarkable thing after seeing proof of concept for an entire season. The only player aside from Josh that you may be able to consistently account for is Cook. This is a championship offense and I don't see anyone shutting it down. Looking forward to trotting out a healthy defensive unit this time around.
  19. This is exactly how I see it... The run game is crucial to our offense and if we have a top notch guy who we can retain in his prime, I say do it. Retain as many weapons around Josh as we can
  20. I just hope everyone is on a better accord next week 28pts(possibly more) on a top tier defense Held the opponent to 7 No injuries Home field advantage GO BILLS!!!
  21. Denver scored on the first drive of the game and hasn't done a thing since...the only better outcome is essentially a shutout Let's just get out of here with no injuries at this point
