  1. 1. Crush the Jests on Monday... 2. Send their season and immediate future into even more chaos and dysfunction... 3. Make an offer for Wilson since they're gonna have to clean house... 4. Check the temp on the Reddick situation too... Even if 3 is unrealistic, enjoy watching them implode
  2. A consistent year of this kind of productivity from his offense in addition to transforming the offense mid season last year would definitely garner him some looks for a HC candidate. The Daboll situation works to our advantage because I think Brady would be more prudent as far as what opportunity he may take, thus buying us more time. I also think he might be interested in seeing what we could add to this team next year and having an even better showcase of what he can do for future opportunities. I think Philly is the team that could derail everything because Sirianni is seriously on a hot seat and I think they would make a strong push to bring in a guy like Brady to utilize that talent. I could see him being the HC/OC also making Kellen Moore expendable (as he's not being viewed so great right now either) Overall I hope the offensive success is sustained and we can keep him another 2 years but we'll always be at risk of being poached for personnel due to those same successes. It's a catch 22
  3. I honestly see us running the table because I'm not certain that any of those teams will know how to defend us. This offense has displayed so much variety through the first 3 weeks that there hasn't really been an identifiable concept. Couple that with the fact that a majority of the weapons are new as well; I can see that being an advantage because defenses don't even know who to really try to account for. The defense is doing an amazing job minus 3 of our top playmakers. I might be overly optimistic but I'm also gonna enjoy the ride until I see a reason not to.
  4. As a guy who lives in Philly and has endured what comes with being a Bills fan since the early 90's; Josh Allen has singlehandedly alleviated a lot of the heartache and stress. It's one thing to have a great QB, but to have a generational, record setting one is totally different. I look forward to being in Buffalo every time he hoists that Lombardi for us!
  5. You might not be saying that, but I absolutely read in here that some folks were hoping to let him (and Dawkins) go. However I don't think your stance is invalid either. We do have some history of deals looking bad almost immediately afterwards; when they potentially had more time to assess the scenario. I think some were done as all in moves (which usually come with some measure of risk) and some were premature (which speaks to your stance). I don't know the details of the contract but I don't think it's the most questionable move either. Hopefully we got ahead of the market in that area and when we have way more cap next year we can make a splash move or 2 to upgrade the weapons for Josh
  6. Fair. My point speaks more specifically to the OL position and the ones who hope to bypass the current situation and hope for either a comp pick (which we assume is relative to performance in some manner) or just want to move onto another roll of the dice in the form of another promising young player. We now have some proof of concept with Brown (when healthy) which is probably the justification as to why they stuck with him as a promising young player to begin with. A comp pick could very likely turn into another Cody Ford scenario I'm not saying that folks can't see it from a different perspective though. I also get that some moves made could be considered premature but when it comes to the OL I like continuity as much as possible especially with the caliber of QB we have.
  7. I can't believe some folks are still relying on the formula of letting players walk in hopes of comp picks when we literally just saw that scenario not play out in our favor (seeing as though nobody has definitive knowledge of how comp picks are distributed) I also can't believe that folks have this many gripes about retaining an "above average" OL (whom could very much still improve) that protects our best QB ever in hopes of the above mentioned scenario hypothetically playing out.
  8. I love that this team is willing to put 111 players on the field. Leave no stone unturned!
  9. I loved how he handled the roll over catch drills. Perfect exercise to prepare for Allen's velocity. I also loved his breakdowns of defenders on routes and how he would approach it. I try to temper my expectations because he's a rookie but he impresses me more and more with each clip.
  10. I would be disappointed if we let him walk under any circumstance aside from him pricing himself well above what we could afford. Letting a guy go who was top 6 in the entire league for scrimmage yds, in his 2nd year, in 13 starts isn't just replaceable by anybody. Hopefully he continues to grow as a player and we retain him for the foreseeable future in tandem with Davis or another complimentary back.
  11. Get rid of illegal formations on offense -5 down lineman and lineup as you please behind the LOS Get rid of ineligible man downfield and intentional grounding within the pocket or hashmarks Inside the RZ everyone is automatically an eligible receiver Pass interference results in gain or loss of 10yds and replay of the down No penalties on TD celebrations
  12. Diggs disappeared after the first 1/3 of the season... Gabe was pretty much non existent for the entire season and has never topped 50 catches in a season... If you simply get some form of consistent production to the tune of 50yds a game; that replaces Gabe. I wholeheartedly believe Samuel will surpass that. Diggs stats are replaced by a combination of the other wide outs and Kincaid (who I think will top 1000 or at minimum 900+) If you keep the context of how those starting WRs performed then the task of replacing them doesn't seem as daunting. At least not to me
  13. I was torn between better and best of career but went with the latter. I think his rushing stats will take a dip but I think he will be highly efficient passing and challenge career highs in yds/%/tds The WR core as it stands I think is arguably the most versatile group he'll play with. He operates best when spreading targets out and he becomes exponentially more dangerous when you don't expect the heroics as opposed to relying on them. I'll say: 4500yds passing, 39tds, 11int, 67comp%, 450yds rushing, 8tds
  14. Considering we spent the final 2/3 of last season with a bona-fide #1 WR who could barely crack 30-50yds but commanded double digit targets and a #2 who routinely didn't even register a catch or target; I expect the variety in the passing game mixed with a legit rushing attack to be beneficial to the offense. Considering we were down to 4th stringers and pulling people off the couch to come play defense during our playoff stint and without our All Pro LB for a majority of the season; I expect a top 10 defense again and hope for improved durability. I'm not down on the team at all and I look forward to the youth infusion that is taking place on both sides. I expect another division title and legit playoff run as well.
  15. I would encourage those who are gonna complain about every single signing at WR this year because their favorite wasn't picked (even though a majority were off by 2-4 rounds in their expert grading analysis), to start scouting the 2025 WR class and FA pool. That will hopefully ease your angst and keep you entertained until the following events this year: 1. We allow our players a chance to do anything on the field to formulate any semblance of a valid opinion 2. Progress up to camp cuts/injuries 3. Get a jump on players that may be available at the trade deadline For our advanced scouts you can start pounding the table for your sure fire picks that very well may be off by 2-4 rounds again.
  16. It's crazy that with all the talk of a potential move for him that he was never brought up as a baseline comparison to Coleman. I think it's a very good one too. I'm even more excited about the pick now
  17. At this juncture Franklin and a slew of other WR are 4th rd guys at best...so if they picked one of them could we bemoan the fact that they took a guy in the 3rd that could've easily been had in the 4th?
  18. WR, S, TE, Edge, OL, RB Possibly in that order too I could see us using a 5th to move up in the 4th or 2 of them to try and get an additional 4th After a 2nd WR, S and a TE I think we're pretty much set Hoping for 2 out of the following: Walker/Franklin/Baker/Oladapo/Mustapha/Hicks
  19. If you aren't solely reliant on one rookie to bail your offense out of every dire situation then I think you better your chances of allowing him to prove himself in those type of scenarios. We just traded a #1 who literally didn't do this for us so I'll allow the rook the opportunity to show what he could be.
  20. Well he isn't ancient and we are on a course of investing into him during his prime. We all age so what are your suggestions that differ so drastically from what I presented?
  21. Are you saying you know the exact makeup of a difference maker? If so please tell me the organization you scout for and examples of the players you've scouted and presented to the organization.
  22. At this point I think we could mess around and get a combo of 2 safeties and an edge in our next 3 picks. Try to move up in the 4th for another WR or DT and then do whatever the board dictates as far as depth pieces
  23. The way the draft is playing out, I could see us maybe making a move for Sutton at best. Let the disgruntled guys finish out their respective terms. Dream scenario is that Minny somehow screws things up with Jettas and he's in play when we have $$$ to make an offer and plenty of cost controlled contracts
