As a man I think it is very selfish by Clarissa Thompson. Women have really come along way in professional sports they work very hard to gain credibility as knowledgeable in a sports business once dominated by only men. For her to do that was very selfish. Agreed but Sean McDermott next year is the real pressure because if the Buffalo Bills potentially miss the playoffs this season and potentially miss the playoffs next season he is 99.9% percent chance he will be fired. After tomorrow if the Buffalo Bills don’t beat the New York Jets the Bills can say goodbye for the playoffs until next season. Once the Bills are totally eliminated from playoffs they need to shut down Josh Allen until next season. Have Josh Allen get fixed whatever he needs to be fixed health wise so he is healthy and ready for training camp in 2024. Because there is no point playing Josh Allen in meaning less football games in 2023 putting more wear on Josh Allen body exposing him to potential injury in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Why is it greedy? Oakland took the Athletics from Kansas City which took the Philadelphia Athletics from Philadelphia. Oakland common council had two decades to find a solution for getting the Oakland Athletics a new baseball stadium. The Oakland Athletics are drawing like 8,000 today my goodness that is pathetic the Toronto Blue Jays drew more than that in Buffalo with less population. I don’t feel sorry for the Oakland fans either they elected self serving politicians that are most likely on the take with other developers that want the land for public housing and there own vision for development on that property. The Oakland Athletics were never going to get a stadium built in Oakland. It was the right decision two decades is long enough for the Oakland Athletics there is a reason all there three major professional sports teams moved in the past 5 years you can’t do business in Oakland anymore in my opinion. Who are you realistically going to get that will come to UB for low salary? Because UB if they potentially fire Maurice Linquist has to buy him out of his UB Bulls contract plus hire a new UB Bulls head coach on top of the buyout of Maurice Linquist. Don’t forget UB Bulls football and UB Bulls basketball have major attendance issues so UB isn’t going to fire Maurice Linquist plus spend a lot of money for a new football coach. Look I going to try to be as fair as I can for Terry Pegula even though I think he is a bum he keeps the two high end major league teams here but the task is next to impossible if Buffalo fans want more than that. Buffalo got to keep the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres but understand Buffalo isn’t winning championships in high end major league sports because Buffalo don’t have the corporate money and sponsors. The two Buffalo teams will exist but nothing more than that in the NFL and NHL. I don’t even think the Bills see a Super Bowl game again much less win win. Same with the Sabres aren’t getting to a Stanley Cup again much less win one. Buffalo will be competitive but won’t win major championships. Think about it the only two Buffalo Bills championships were in the AFL a second professional football league. Yes the AFL were in big markets but they were split in many cases by NFL teams more established than the second AFL teams. So the Buffalo Bills were a big deal in the AFL. When they merged the Bills really struggled because they were going against major media markets in the NFL. Buffalo today is a minor pro league market corporate money and Fortune 500 businesses wise. Buffalo would succeed in minor pro league sports because we are the big deal against Rochester, Hamilton, Hershey and Albany. If hypothetically Buffalo was in the CFL, AHL and Arena Football League along with the Buffalo Bandits. Buffalo would win championships from time to time because Buffalo is swimming in a smaller pond with our corporate peers. I am not saying Buffalo should do that just saying realistically this is what Buffalo is going to be in high end major league sports our history shows that and as the leagues grow it is getting hard for Buffalo to win. It isn’t the Buffalo fans it’s the money these major cities have in sports today with major Fortune 500 companies. That isn’t Buffalo strength unfortunately so get use to it the Bills and Sabres exist. If Buffalo fans choose to stop going Buffalo joins the minor pro leagues above the choice is Buffalo’s. They either accept the terms or they don’t that it telling it like it is. I accept it as the way it is and enjoy my champion Buffalo Bandits in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

I don’t think he is the permanent Buffalo Bills OC because I don’t see the Bills winning more than two games the rest of this season. I think major roster changes are coming unfortunately the Bills are going to potentially trade Stefon Diggs in the offseason which I think is a major mistake. But Sean McDermott seems to be running the Bills show right now and he is going to get rid any of the players that question and challenge his leadership decisions this offseason in my opinion. I think Buffalo Bills fans are going to be disappointed if they think Sean McDermott is going at the end of the season regardless of what happens. Joe Brady is here on a OC try out. Looking at it objectively for Sean McDermott too have success he needs a strong OC and he needs to do a Chicago Bears Mike Ditka with DC Buddy Ryan. They both were on terrible terms but what made Mike Ditka a Super Bowl head coach. He stayed out of Buddy Ryan side of the building. Sean McDermott needs to think about that because if he keeps meddling in things like offense he will be fired after next season regardless of how Terry Pegula feels about him. Because the Bills aren’t selling 60,000 PSL’s with this current Bills product because Buffalo isn’t Dallas in size where Dallas Cowboys owner could stay loyal to a Jason Garret and still draw sellout crowds. Buffalo/Western New York/Southern Ontario doesn’t have the market size to do that look at the Buffalo Sabres. Again no matter what Sean McDermott if he has a season like this season he won’t get a 2025 season because the Buffalo Bills will need to get the new coach ready selling hope and change a new beginning for 2026 when the new Bills season starts. Brandon Beane will bring the candidates for Terry Pegula to pick from. Brandon Beane I believe is safe for now he will get one coaching hire than he will be on the hot seat for being fired if it doesn’t turn out. But Sean McDermott can have success if he hires a strong OC with way more experience than Ken Dorsey and stays out of the way on offense in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

No the New England Patriots won’t. Bob Kraft is smart owner he gave Bill Belichick an extension for a reason. The New England Patriots aren’t ever firing Bill Belichick he will either retire a Patriots coach or if Bill Belichick wants to continue to coach will be traded for multiple draft picks but the choice is Bill Belichick’s to make. You don’t fire an asset. Even when it is time to move on from Sean McDermott I would shop him around the league to see if Sean McDermott has any trade value considering what the bum accomplished. Or at the very least sell Sean McDermott coaching contract so the Buffalo Bills ownership isn’t on the hook for Sean McDermott contract extension money. So Terry Pegula is fine with a potential half empty new Highmark Stadium? Who is paying thousands of dollars for PSL’s for 5 more years of Sean McDermott in the hunt teams? So I don’t buy that Terry Pegula doesn’t have a breaking point with Sean McDermott especially if Sean McDermott potentially loses the locker room like the Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels did? I don’t think Terry Pegula is so loyal to Sean McDermott he is willing to have a potential half empty stadium. The Buffalo Bills are in unprecedented territory they are about to ask Buffalo Bills fans for PSL’s and higher ticket prices for a mediocre football in the hunt football product again? With the difference it’s not cheap tickets anymore that is the difference. We will all see how Western New York responds to in the hunt Sean McDermott era teams for huge season ticket increases in the new Highmark Stadium? I don’t believe that tailgating wipes away Sean McDermott in the hunt teams yearly potentially? Not with PSL’s Western New York doesn’t have enough Bills fans with unlimited money to throw away on a in the hunt NFL head coach Sean McDermott. We will see it will be interesting what the Buffalo Bills ownership does? A lot of determining Sean McDermott being retained might be how many Bills fans renew their Bills season memberships for more of head coach Sean McDermott in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Maurice Linquist needs to be fired. UB Bulls football are looking at needing a total rebuild. So there is no point keeping Maurice Linquist who is 14-21 with two games left on the season after three years. UB Bulls have no quarterback on the roster so they are going to have to go to the transfer portal. My solution since UB Bulls football has no money is hiring UB alum Joe Licata as both head coach/athletics director of UB. Hoping UB Bulls football hits lightning in a bottle. Since Joe Licata is a local maybe he stays 20 years to build a real MAC football program at UB that is good long term. Again it starts with hiring someone that will stay and being honest with Western New York community we are a MAC program that doesn’t have the support for a higher conference. Starting with the truth to the Western New York fans will go a long way with building trust from UB athletics. Last point I have a hard time understanding why UB athletics doesn’t lobby the state for money for renovations to UB stadium. The Buffalo Bisons owner Rich products whose owner is a multi billionaire is asking for state money to renovate Sahlen’s Field that has more going for it than UB Stadium. I don’t understand UB the schools reluctance to ask the state for money for renovations for UB Stadium to remove the track the worse the state can say is no. Again hope that Joe Licata is a Nate Oats hire is all I have. Combine the athletics director job to help with the money having to go out to buyout Maurice Linquist contract. Is my plan great? No there is risk reward but at this point UB has nothing to lose with Joe Licata because Maurice Linquist and Mark Alnutt are not the answer and have to both go combining the two jobs saves UB athletics some money in my opinion. The Buffalo Bills will win the next two games then reality sets in and back to losing again against good teams. The Bills if they miss the playoffs this season need to totally rebuild their team. Sean McDermott should be on the table of moving forward with a new head coach if the Bills don’t make the playoffs. Regardless of the money Mark Davis did the right thing now we will see what Terry Pegula is all about. A owner that is serious about winning doesn’t let contracts get in the way. The Buffalo Bills have major problems that can’t be fixed by even next season. Josh Allen is becoming a problem because he is regressing and not getting better. It seems Josh Allen is at his ceiling a gimmick running quarterback that doesn’t seem to either get it or put the time into getting better. At this point I don’t even care if Josh Allen wants out of Buffalo because his act as the Bills quarterback failing in big games is getting old fast. If Josh Allen wants out of Buffalo move on from him. Because there are a lot of good quarterbacks out there today. Putting all your cap money in Josh Allen doesn’t matter if you can’t bring in quality football players to fill out the Bills roster. That Josh Allen contract extension is making it impossible to have a Super Bowl quality roster for the Bills. $53 million dollars a year for Josh Allen is ridiculous if he isn’t willing to put in the study time to get better. Face it Bills fans I don’t like to post this but Josh Allen has flat out sucked this season in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

I am no Michigan Wolverines fan but this is ridiculous. Michigan Wolverines win this season because they are good period. Signs aren’t going to block the guy in front of you. Having a talented team does that. It sounds like a lot of sour grapes and being a bad sport by Big Ten Conference coaches that got beat and instead of putting your hand out shake there hand say good luck the rest of the year. Being a good sport they whine to the NCAA Michigan is cheating. It’s stupid they are all doing shady stuff especially most of the top 50 college football programs in my opinion. College sports has been run shady for the 50 years I have followed. If sign stealing made you a winner you don’t think Nebraska Cornhuskers would try that to get back to what they once were under Dr Tom Osbourne sign stealing? My UB Bulls? It’s called talent wins Michigan Wolverines are good period. If sign stealing was that big of a deal shouldn’t the New England Patriots and Houston Astros still be champions today because it’s so much of an advantage? It’s not a advantage you need great players and coaches to win. The biggest change I see in sports today is major accountability and what I call bad sportsmanship problems today in all levels of sports refusing to accept reality you got beat be a good sport and shake hands. Deion Sanders with the Colorado Buffaloes is a good example of this the players were great when you are winning early in the season. Now some of those same players aren’t good enough instead of accepting personal responsibility. Deion Sanders blames the offensive line and wants to replace them all next season so he says instead of look at himself and his QB son? It’s never there fault it is someone else’s fault. So that same Colorado Buffaloes offensive line isn’t good enough now but it was ok when Deion Sanders was winning. Good luck with that attitude especially the sons when they get to the NFL. As a New York Yankees fan because I grew up with Thurman Munson the 1976,1977 and 1978 Yankees in Buffalo. With the Yankees Burger King cards and the Reggie Bars the Yankees were really good when I started watching baseball and there games were on channel 29 in Buffalo. The New York Mets you needed cable and my suburban area Clarence where I grew up wasn’t wired for cable until 1980. International Cable stopped at transit road where Eastern Hills Mall is. That is when my home got WOR 9 Mets games and WPIX 11 Yankees games along with TBS Atlanta Braves 1980 when Global Cable wired Clarence town past Transit Road. I saw Mets games before that but it was either NBC game of the week, Monday Night Baseball or Montreal Expos games that Buffalo got on CBC along with the Toronto Blue Jays games on CBC and CTV that was it until 1980 cable for me personally. The New York Mets blew it in Buffalo with there 4 year affiliation with the Buffalo Bisons. The Mets treated the Buffalo Bisons really badly and I know bought the Syracuse Mets after the Buffalo Bisons gave up the Mets to Las Vegas for the Toronto Blue Jays. But Syracuse isn’t half the sports city Buffalo is especially baseball. You can thank Fred and his meddling son Jeff Wilpon for that. They were meddlers especially the son. They wanted the Buffalo Bisons who had there nickname since 1877 to change it to Buffalo Mets. Crazy stuff like that along with bad triple a teams along with the meddling son got the Mets shown the door in Buffalo. It’s unfortunate because the Mets really missed a huge opportunity to create more Mets fans and good will in the Western part of New York State by not being so controlling and jerky about it. Your not reasonable to me asking a triple a team to change their name to Mets after over a 100 years. It would have potentially bankrupt the Buffalo Bisons the backlash. Because one Buffalo is a very traditional sports market that doesn’t like a lot of change and two Buffalo roots for multiple MLB teams and putting a MLB team name on the Buffalo Bisons. Limits the interest to New York Mets fans only potentially. Buffalo Bisons you can be any MLB fan and wearing Buffalo Bisons merchandise is ok if you are a New York Yankees fan or a New York Mets fan. So from a business perspective the Bisons changed the colors for the Mets but that was all the Mets were getting in Buffalo. Because putting a MLB name on a triple a team isn’t good for merchandise sales which the minors need that merchandise revenue because they don’t get huge television money like the MLB teams get in my opinion. As a Buffalo Bills fan I am interested in trading for Bill Belichick offering the New England Patriots Sean McDermott contract along with his coaching staff and a Bills first round draft pick for Bill Belichick contract and coaching staff it would be a major upgrade for the Bills. Bill Belichick with Josh Allen would be scary how many Super Bowls the Bills would potentially win multiple Super Bowls. How excited would I be if the Bills acquired the contract of Bill Belichick to coach the Bills? I would be willing to pay 4 or 5 time the Bills ticket prices for a Bill Belichick coached Bills team. The way Bill Belichick treats the media would also be a bonus Buffalo needs that badly in our bush league Buffalo sports media today. Let’s see the Buffalo and Rochester media handle Bill Belichick the media and their nonsense Bill Belichick would take care of that nonsense quickly. My favorite combination takes me back to childhood as a Buffalo Bills fan the Bills always wore this combination when I was a kid growing up in the 1970’s Buffalo the blue pants with the white jerseys and the white pants with the blue jerseys. I don’t like the white pants, white jersey look except if the Bills wear it with the standing red Buffalo other than that no thanks. Because that look with the charging Buffalo was 1990’s our helmets were red not white for the most part. Also if the Bills organization was on the ball with history which I know is asking a lot. The Bills should celebrate Rich Stadium being 50 years old with this look with the standing red Buffalo that the Bills wore for the first year at Rich Stadium. Really? I am surprised at the regression of UB Bulls football in 2023. Buffalo beat Toledo last season. I question the great talent Maurice Linquist is being sold as this great recruiter by his UB supporters. I see the exact opposite Maurice Linquist won with the remaining Lance Leipold players that stayed. These are now mostly Maurice Linquist players slow and not good enough. As UB Bulls fans we are stuck with Maurice Linquist at least two more years than hopefully by the end of the 2025 season UB Jim Whitesell’s him. I don’t see UB Bulls being MAC championship contenders again until 2027 or 2028 at the earliest what a sad state of affairs with UB Bulls football. Until UB Bulls do something with Maurice Linquist there is no hope until he is replaced as UB Bulls head football coach in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Let’s Go Buffalo

Yes in Queens because that is where Donald Trump would have most likely moved the Buffalo Bills to in the MLS soccer stadium going up in Queens for New York City FC MLS that would have been a bigger domed stadium with potentially the Donald Trump New York (Bills) Trumps in it. The Bills team would have most likely been renamed Trumps because Donald Trump puts his name on everything he buys. How I come to that conclusion is look at the New Jersey Generals USFL under Donald Trump. If the USFL was awarded more money than $3. Donald Trump was going to move the New Jersey Generals to Shea Stadium and call them New York Generals. There is no way someone that likes the art of the deal like Donald Trump is running the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo. If Trump acquired the Bills he would have sued his way out of the 10 years lease that the Ralph Wilson ownership signed. As a Buffalo Bills fan I don’t have a doubt that Donald Trump would move the Bills to New York City and not think twice about it. The Rogers group the Buffalo Bills would have eventually been in Toronto. I don’t have a doubt about that either. Just like I don’t have a doubt if the Buffalo Bills were put up for sale tomorrow Delaware North Jacobs family would own the Buffalo Bills. Because 10 years makes a huge difference gambling isn’t frown upon like 10 years ago by the NFL owners. The Jacobs family couldn’t bid because of West Virginia Racetrack and gambling holdings if I recall. The group of ownership groups bidding would be larger and much wealthier than Trump, Rodgers and and even Pegula. Even the Jacobs family or the Pegula family would need partners today from a group most likely because of the raising costs of NFL franchises today. Most people aren’t walking around with $5 or $6 billion dollars to pay for a NFL franchise that doesn’t even include the cost of constructing a NFL stadium either privately or public/private partnership in Buffalo’s case in my opinion. Have you seen Western New York sports history of the four majors and college sports always something goes wrong. From the Bonnies Bob Lanier hurting his knee against Villanova not being able to play in the NCAA final four, to the Braves losing with no time on the clock to the Boston Celtics to the Sabres losing to the Philadelphia Flyers to the Bills losing 4 Straight Super Bowls to the Sabres no goal against the Dallas Stars to the Bills losing in home run throwback against the Tennessee Titans to the Bills 13 seconds against the Kansas City Chiefs doesn’t give a Western New York sports fans a lot of confidence over the years in my opinion. It’s a Buffalo Bills win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers onto the Cincinnati Bengals game a week from Sunday. There really isn’t much more a Bills fan can say than it’s a win for Bills. I don’t see the point of rehashing the obvious weekly by this present Bills team this season they aren’t improving because they can’t. That isn’t because the Bills players aren’t trying because they are. It’s just the Bills have reached their career ceiling with some players and in other cases are at the end of their NFL careers it is what it is in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
