  1. Is Aaron Rodgers going to get younger? That is what everyone is missing he is a 39 year old man on the football decline. The New York Jets have the potential to be in last place. I don’t think Aaron Rodgers is going to be great he is going to Bret Favre New York Jets not Green Bay Packers years all washed up. Green Bay Packers don’t get rid of someone if they think there is anything in the tank there is nothing there in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  2. Decent team the Buffalo Bills what? The Buffalo Bills were better than decent this Bills era were really good football teams and players they just ran into a better Cleveland Browns. Both those AAFC teams Buffalo, Cleveland were well supported and the Buffalo Bills should have been apart of the NFL in 1950 over the Baltimore Colts. Not the same Baltimore Colts that are the Indianapolis Colts today these Colts were green and white in the AAFC. I have a lot of silent film of Buffalo Bills AAFC games from this era. I knew about these Buffalo Bills teams from the old timers calling in Buffalo Bills football show’s talking about George Ratterman. When you are a kid you think sure. When I was 50 years old I bought some of the Buffalo Bills silent films games that I finally got to watch to see what those old timers saw. George Rattlerman was the real deal as was Chet Murtryn both should have there numbers retired as part of the Buffalo Bills AAFC years in the new Bills stadium over ridiculous neon lights signs like the Buffalo Bills are the Vegas Golden Knights just granted a expansion franchise that is what that screams to me as a old Buffalo Bills fan. Also what stuck out was Civic Stadium/War Memorial Stadium was better without the baseball configuration and the add roof covered seating with the long poles holding up the new roof add ons done cheaply in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  3. The Denver Broncos alternate should be there old Brown and Gold AFL uniforms like Wyoming Cowboys colors it fits the Rocky Mountains and the Gold Rush history in the West more than that new helmet and uniforms the Broncos released in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  4. Zero and double zero are cool numbers. The strangest you don’t see often is 01 that a Buffalo team player once wore for the Buffalo Blizzard. Kentucky Wildcats in the 1940’s or 1950’s when the “Bear” Paul “Bear Bryant was coaching there they had so many players back then before there were limits to how many you could recruit they had a player wearing 1A in the highlights. Could you imagine you have to share a number like that your chances weren’t good for playing. Also in college you can wear duplicate numbers offense and defense even at UB Bulls football I have seen players with the same number on the same team. I have no idea why the Buffalo Bills players don’t use the numbers of 0 and double 00 other Buffalo teams have. Buffalo Sabres Marty Biron wore double zero his rookie year. Buffalo Blizzard soccer player goalies Tony Meola wore just zero 0, Jamie Swanner wore double zero and Rob Marino wore 01 when he played goal for the Buffalo Blizzard. Dave Clark wore 00 for the Buffalo Bisons. Six I think of Tom Dempsey the former Buffalo Bills kicker in the 1970’s. Roland Hooks 25 I think of the New England Patriots Hail Mary touchdown from Joe Ferguson. Lot of good Buffalo sports memories there with numbers. I can do that with a Buffalo sports card or a team picture look at a photo and think of memories because I am old in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  5. That is a disgrace Tennessee Titans ownership and the Titans fans are classless. The uniform is legally yours but it’s not right morally. Do the right thing and give the City of Houston the Houston Oilers color, name and uniform back. I get it the Titans owners are going to make all the money off Houston Oilers fans. Yeah off the same Houston football fans they left and wanted nothing to do with. Plus who cares Buffalo Super Fan you buy the Buffalo Braves merchandise from the Los Angeles Clippers that own the rights legally to the Buffalo Braves logo. That is true the difference is Buffalo isn’t in the NBA anymore Houston is in the NFL again with the Houston Texans. I would hope if Buffalo ever had a expansion NBA team hypothetically the Buffalo Wings that the Los Angeles Clippers would do the right thing and give Buffalo the Buffalo Braves logo back for the Buffalo Wings NBA team to use hypothetically for the Buffalo fans. Same if Hartford ever got a NHL team or if Quebec City ever got a NHL team back. The Houston Oilers should be worn by the Houston Texans for Houston, Texas fans to celebrate not Nashville, Tennessee fans in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  6. I never thought Hines was that good when he played for the Buffalo Bills last season. Just release him and move on with another football player. Because obviously this kid was too dumb to win with. To be water skiing when he is a professional football player is reckless and stupid you can’t win with someone like that. He shouldn’t be doing risky stuff like that under contract to the Buffalo Bills. Cut him and use him as a example for the other Bills players to be serious about your career get your stuff together or get out in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  7. I don’t care what the Texas Longhorns have money wise today it’s irrelevant once professional sports takes there revenue away and market share. The take is solid. Put another NBA team in Syracuse see how many people go to Syracuse Orange basketball games. Syracuse Orange grew when the Syracuse Nats moved for Philadelphia to become the Philadelphia 76ers in 1963. Syracuse Orange basketball capitalized on that. Any college town/city that becomes a professional sports city it weakens the college sports team unless they are winning national championships year after year or they are Los Angeles that is a huge market with lots of corporate sponsors money. Austin has MLS right now but NFL goes in there Texas Longhorns football are like UNLV basketball in the 1970’s through 1990’s. Once Austin gets that taste Texas will be weaken especially since they aren’t what they once were now. See Memphis State Tigers basketball when the NBA went there. Minnesota Golden Gophers football when the Minnesota Vikings arrived, the Little Three basketball here in Western New York when the Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Braves arrived. You put NFL in Columbus, Ohio turn off the lights with Ohio State dominance. Washington Huskies haven’t done zip since the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners came to town. Texas Longhorns exist as triple a football once the NFL and Major League Baseball takes a big scoop of money out of the ad revenue of Texas starts to dry up and they start to lose market share. It is a very solid take. Alabama if the NFL went to Birmingham, Alabama it would weaken Alabama Crimson Tide football. Again they will exist but it weakens the college sports once major league sports come to cities. There are very few exceptions to that rule in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  8. Practice is way overrated. As long as the Buffalo Bills players are in good football shape and know the Bills plays there good. Some players need a lot of practice and some don’t. It’s like acting some don’t need to read over lines and rehearse and some do. Jackie Gleason didn’t like to read over lines or rehearse on the “Honeymooners”. He was brilliant actor. Desi Arnez and William Crowley got along well on “I Love Lucy”. because they didn’t like to rehearse either and they were brilliant actors. But Buffalo Super Fan what about the other Bills players that aren’t picking it up. Look there is such a thing as over practice and over micro managing everything. Vince Lombardi had a very basic offense you don’t have to reinvent the wheel just play. You are either good enough or you’re not in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  9. I agree I would fixed that nonsense move the Washington NBA team back as the Baltimore Bullets and move the Washington NFL team to Virginia and call them the Virginia Squires in Red, White and Blue. You can’t do sports business in Washington, D.C. anymore without the politics move both the teams along the the Washington Nationals MLB back to Montreal as the Montreal Expos and move the Washington Capitals NHL to Hartford as the Hartford Whalers problem solved at least the teams would be appreciated in those areas in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  10. Today is the list of the 16 AFL Teams for 2024 unfortunately Buffalo, New York Buffalo Destroyers didn’t make it. 1. Austin Wranglers 2. Boise Shock 3. California rumor is the San Jose Sabercats or will it be Los Angeles Avengers, Los Angeles Cobras or Anaheim Piranhas 4. Colorado (Denver) Colorado Crush or Denver Dynamite? 5. Chicago Rush or will it be Chicago Bruisers 6. Louisiana rumor is the New Orleans Voodoo 7. Minnesota Fighting Pike? 8. Ohio my guess the Columbus Destroyers are going there not Buffalo unfortunately but it could be Cleveland Gladiators or Cincinnati Rockers? 9. Oregon Portland Forests Dragons 10. Orlando mystery will the Orlando Predators leave the NAL? 11. Philadelphia Soul 12. St Louis Stampede 13. Tallahassee ? 14. Tennessee Nashville Kats or Memphis Pharaohs 15. Washington ? Seattle or Washington DC? 16. West Texas? Very vague but not just no Buffalo but no New York City area at all with all the empty arenas in the summer in New York City that is shocking. But unfortunately this is not a state you can do start up sports businesses in anymore very unfriendly business state for minor professional sports leagues and teams today. Part of it is the high cost for insurance work comp I have heard over the years in New York State it has driven minor sports franchises out of New York State notice no New Jersey Newark or Massachusetts Boston or Connecticut Hartford or Michigan Detroit it’s unfortunate but it is what it is. Buffalo Super Fan I don’t like you. Why? For telling the truth that New York state and Erie county area needs to stop giving money to stay to like us and fix the bad business climate in New York State not just Buffalo but the whole state of New York we have been a mess economically forever it seems but by the early 2000’s when the Buffalo Blizzard packed up after 9 years and the Buffalo Destroyers packed up after 5 years that this state isn’t a place to do sports business in anymore. It was a bad sign of where we are today. The Buffalo Beauts PHF women’s professional hockey team folded after 8 years with the PHF being bought that isn’t good in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  11. He makes zero sense like a lot of national sports media. Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen would be even better with OJ Simpson, Joe Cribbs or Thurman Thomas. I think about what wide receiver Andre Reed could do with a QB like Josh Allen is scary. Buffalo Super Fan Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas had Jim Kelly. Yes they did but as much of a fan as I am of Jim Kelly he was a try hard QB he was very limited, very stiff athletically. Jim Kelly had to really work compared to a Miami Dolphins Dan Marino passing or a Denver Broncos John Elway and San Francisco 49ers Steve Young running he wasn’t the greatest athlete. To me Jim Kelly was like Cincinnati Reds Pete Rose in baseball without the championships for Jim Kelly that Pete Rose won unfortunately for us Bills fans with Jim Kelly. Jim Kelly made up for his shortcomings compared to the other three QB’s of his era by his never say give up bulldog mentality just like Cincinnati Reds Pete Rose. Josh Allen is like a better athletic combination of the three Dan Marino throwing and John Elway and Steve Young running. But if Josh Allen had a slot receiver in Andre Reed and a running back like Thurman Thomas even Bills head coach Sean McDermott being average couldn’t screw that up from winning a Super Bowl for the Buffalo Bills in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  12. This makes zero sense for the Buffalo Sabres location wise so of course it’s happening with PSE. Buffalo AHL triple A team should be in Buffalo and our double A ECHL team belongs in Rochester, New York or Niagara Falls, New York or Jamestown, New York if Rochester prefers to stay in the AHL with the a new NHL affiliate and local Rochester ownership. Again the Vegas Golden Knights know what they’re doing as a Stanley Cup Champion organization and the Buffalo Sabres unfortunately continue to screw around with bad ideas like this one. Jacksonville what a joke purely because of location to the Buffalo Sabres nothing personal about the wonderful city of Jacksonville, Florida or the Jacksonville Icemen it’s just not a good fit for the Buffalo Sabres because the location is too far away from the Buffalo Sabres in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  13. Number #6 I will go with Tom Dempsey personal choice because I am disabled in a wheelchair from birth with MD muscular dystrophy. Tom Dempsey was born without part of his foot and missing fingers on his one hand. He was I believe the first disabled Buffalo Bills player from birth. I get Buffalo Bills players get disabled from playing football. But Tom Dempsey had to overcome a lot to make the NFL especially considering the time period ADA Americans Disability Act didn’t come until 1990’s. Add in Tom Dempsey got complaints from NFL opposing teams about his special shoe because he made a 67 yard field goal that was a record for a while. Ironically they determined it was actually harder kicking with the special shoe not having part of his foot. He just passed away recently and no he wasn’t the greatest Buffalo Bills player ever and he wasn’t here long but I will go with him. Number #20 Joe Cribbs was a much better Buffalo Bills player than Henry Jones in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  14. I agree. The red helmets were mocked by Buffalo Bills fans when they came out when I was a teenager. The Bills went to them to help Joe Ferguson locate wide receivers because a lot of teams had white helmets. Joe Ferguson wasn’t around much longer for the Bills but the controversial red helmets stayed. Why not old look a like leather helmets with Buffalo Bill Cody on them and the Buffalo Bill Cody at the 50 yard line when the new Bills stadium opens. That would be something look a like leather helmets with Buffalo Bill Cody back again if Buffalo Bills fans want real throwbacks. I want the crazy looking Buffalo Bill Cody logo for the alternative helmets in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  15. Why let it go Buffalo? Jack Eichel didn’t want to play here anymore and I not sure he ever really did want to play here in Buffalo. It didn’t help that the young man as soon as he was drafted heard that incompetent Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray say he would have preferred Connor McDavid to the media. Again one can think that but a Buffalo Sabres GM that just drafted Jack Eichel shouldn’t be saying it. That is how screwed up the Buffalo Sabres organization has been. I don’t see any point to boo Jack Eichel. Boo Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula for hiring incompetent GM Tim Murray and GM Jason Botterill in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  16. I find it interesting as a 55 year old Buffalonian that some people really still believe something is too big to fail today. Each there own I guess I guess we can agree to disagree in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  17. I totally understand where you’re coming from we lost Connor McDavid and the Jack Eichel second choice attitude wise was really never committed to Buffalo like Connor McDavid would have been. It was really cruel what happened here in Buffalo no one gave Buffalo Sabres fans the choice to tank that was PSE short sighted decision. PSE never thought what if one of the players didn’t want to really come here to Buffalo. PSE thought wrongly once Jack Eichel got to Buffalo PSE would win him over with there understanding and a whole lot of money. The only thing is there are a lot of choices in a 32 team NHL compared to a 18 team NHL when I first started as a Buffalo Sabres fan your only choice was the 14 team WHA. So definitely in the 1970’s Terry Pegula’s plan would have worked. But today with Sun Belt markets in the NHL now knocking the Buffalo Sabres house down and completely start building a new house again wasn’t a great idea. Buffalo having the limitations we had took years to get back to where we are before the tank now. I was critical of the Buffalo Sabres tank from day one and if the Buffalo Sabres ever do a ridiculous plan like that to tank again Buffalo might not have a NHL team in Buffalo anymore next time. Because the Buffalo Sabres paid a huge price we lost several thousand season memberships probably gone for good one of the many reasons was because of that tank failure of Jack Eichel in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  18. The problem with the USFL and XFL is that it has no football history. I grew up with both the NFL and CFL my entire life in Buffalo so I would choose CFL over the USFL and XFL. I wouldn’t place a hypothetical Buffalo CFL, USFL or XFL team in the new Buffalo Bills stadium no matter what because it would potentially fail because of the Orchard Park location and the sky high rent cost paid to PSE unless Terry Pegula owned the team himself it would most likely fail overtime. I would place a potential Buffalo CFL, USFL or XFL team in the heart of the city of downtown Buffalo. Buffalo Bisons Sahlen’s Field adding some bleacher seats to get the capacity to 25,000 seats. So you would have a Buffalo Bisons/Buffalo Bills War Memorial Stadium setup again but without the 20,000 extra seats that War Memorial Stadium had that aren’t needed for CFL football and better city center location than both War Memorial Stadium and Highmark Stadium 2 don’t have. Again this isn’t new I have wanted to move some if not all of the UB Bulls football games to Sahlen’s Field for some time now because it’s a better viewing experience and amenities experience over UB Stadium that is one of the worst stadiums in Buffalo and in all of Major College Football as a 30 year plus UB Bulls football season ticket holder at UB Stadium it looks like inside it just a concrete box with metal bleachers it’s needs several hundred of millions of dollars renovations which honestly I don’t see how UB and UB donors are raising $100 million dollars or more. It took UB donors 20 plus years to raise $30 million for the UB Field house and they just broke ground on the UB performance athletics center attached to the UB Field House. Until UB Stadium track is completely removed the outdated video scoreboard is upgraded and more chair back seating is added replacing more of the awful metal bleachers with more rest rooms to UB Stadium UB Bulls should try playing games at Sahlen’s Field. Just the Buffalo curious sports fan factor would draw Buffalo fans. It would be the first major football game outside in Buffalo city limits since 1972 it’s worth a try for UB Bulls football. The Sahlen’s Field capacity now for just UB Bulls MAC college football is more than enough capacity right now in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  19. That is what I figured thank you in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  20. It’s called expanding and hiring more work crew to make more pizza. When I was a kid growing up in Buffalo I saw Rich Stadium get built. Because I went to my relatives that lived a block away from Rich Stadium for Sunday dinner you could walk to Rich Stadium from there home. Anyway the restaurants around there started growing larger as the Buffalo Bills became successful especially in the early 1980’s. It sounds like old Frank Pepe’s and Sally’s if there pizza is that hot they should expand or they aren’t very smart business people like the Buffalo pizza places around Rich Stadium are. Not getting a pizza if you don’t order by 9 am and one goes somewhere else they most likely are never going back out of site out of mind out of business over time buying trends regardless change overtime no matter how good the pizza is. Expand before Joe’s pizza takes all your business because he can deliver in 30 minutes in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  21. All I care about is that UB Bulls broke ground on there sport’s performance athletics center that will open for the 2024 UB Bulls football season. Then UB Bulls need to do something about UB Stadium starting with their outdated video scoreboard in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Let’s Go Buffalo
  22. Texas Longhorns are the next UNLV once professional sports start expanding into Austin besides MLS. At some point I think the NFL and potentially MLB will be in Austin. When that happens Texas Longhorns are just like Cincinnati, Orlando, Memphis and Houston. I think the Big 12 Conference will be fine but I think everyone that isn’t SEC and Big Ten Conference are behind so there really is only the Power Two Conferences in college football today. At the end of the day does it really matter one is going to cheer on there favorite school team either way in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Let’s Go Buffalo
  23. For now the Buffalo Bills stay in Buffalo the stadium is part of how it happens. I never personally thought the new Buffalo Bills stadium would be the problem in Buffalo. The problem is the Buffalo Bills higher ticket prices with PSL’s can the Buffalo Bills organization sell 60,000 seats that is the real question not the stadium but can Bills mafia afford all that on our areas small corporate wealth and a Buffalo Bills fan base that are paid below the national average so use to cheap tickets and a tailgate over spending money inside the stadium instead like the Buffalo Bills want in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  24. Not a bad thing but just not something to really celebrate over the Buffalo Bandits or Buffalo Bisons championship or UB Bulls Bowl winning team for that matter. The bottom the Buffalo Bills lost all four Super Bowls. I was part of that in my college years with those good Buffalo Bills teams as a Bills fan and it was fun but you don’t celebrate a Bills team that loses. So I think about the 1994 Buffalo Stampede RHI Roller Hockey International Murphy Cup champions more than the four time losing Buffalo Bills because they won and the Buffalo Bills didn’t. So I would rather celebrate winners like the 1964 and 65 Buffalo Bills AFL champions that I wasn’t apart of but because they were champions. Some Buffalo fans will never understand what the heck I am talking about which is ok we can agree to disagree in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  25. Translation don’t buy PSL’s save the money Buffalo Bills fans. Until the Buffalo Bills drop PSL’s so the owner pays his fair share of Highmark Stadium 2 by getting stuck with the lack of PSL’s sales watch the Buffalo Bills games at home until PSL’s are dropped by the Buffalo Bills PSE. Go to UB Bulls NCAA MAC college football games $125.00 for a season ticket. Drive to Canada watch the Hamilton Tiger Cats CFL professional football with no PSL’s $220.00 for the season at Tim Horton’s Field is a bargain. Go up there to Canada enjoy some Canadian culture with your football. That is what makes Buffalo so great we have choices between the two countries. As a Buffalonian PSL’s aren’t right someone has to take a stand and say no to PSL’s. Buffalo Super Fan you are cheap? That is right I would never pay money for the right to pay money again to buy a football ticket that is the definition of ripe off. Nothing inside any NFL football stadium is worth paying twice for what you are getting paying once so no go to the Buffalo Bills competition in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
