I can watch the Buffalo Braves in both Toronto and Cleveland. Golden State Warriors is over the Golden Gate Bridge. This was all political and business leaders wanting something else for Oakland with the land that the Oakland Athletics desired to build there ballpark. Just like the Buffalo Braves we fans had zero to do with the decision. The people in positions of power just tell us what they think is good for us. Again Oakland Athletics fans still can root for the Las Vegas Athletics if they choose too.

It isn’t Oakland that can’t hang onto any it’s teams anymore? This had very little to do with the loyal fans anymore than Buffalo, San Diego, Seattle NBA, Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland and St Louis NFL losing there teams. This is about the toxic political and business environment in those cities at that time. The owner also plays a part but it has very little to do about the actual fans it has never been about the fans in these things. I am sure over the passage of time the large cities like Seattle NBA, San Diego, Oakland and St Louis will get another chance in the NBA or NFL at the expense of a current league member or expansion.

The St Louis Battlehawks XFL is a great success story but I don’t think the XFL is going to make it because the USFL has the better long range business plan to just stay the course until the market gets use to you like USL, MLS, WNBA. The XFL went all in markets right away which was successful in St Louis. But Las Vegas the Vegas Vipers is failing the IFL indoor football team is drawing a good amount of fans the Vegas Knight Hawks for less cost operations wise. San Antonio crowds after opening game have been decreasing. The Rock doesn’t have the funds to absorb those kind of money losses for long. Fox is loaded with money and smartly starting small in hub cities and also waiting for the weather to get warmer and not going against the NCAA basketball tournament. If I am a betting man which I am not I think the USFL will survive but even that depends on how much money does Fox want to lose until the USFL spring football gets established that is the million dollar question. I would choose the USFL for Buffalo over XFL because of the later start of there spring football season fits Buffalo weather the best. Even though I think Arena football/indoor football at Key Bank Center is a better fit for Buffalo because of the less cost salary structure wise players get paid peanuts $250 to $500 a game in the Indoor Football League. And it gives Key Bank Center much needed events. I am hopeful Buffalo will get some kind of indoor football back by 2030 at the latest when that incompetent Terry Pegula sells the Buffalo Sabres. I am celebrating pizza and wings at BSF house when Terry Pegula sells the Buffalo Sabres and PSE is out of the arena sports business. When Buffalo gets a real owner that knows how to grow business not just wait to collect taxpayer public money we will get things like indoor sports like football, soccer and basketball back in Key Bank Center for the good fans of Buffalo. I see the TBL which has a team in Albany the Albany Patroons are part of the new Basketball Super League with the best basketball teams around the world not in the NBA, NBA G League. I know brainwashed Terry Pegula defenders Buffalo is too small, doesn’t have a nickel to it’s name be glad we have the Buffalo Bills and 12 years of suffering from the Buffalo Sabres right don’t forget PSL’s and Buffalo Sabres will try hard for the last playoff spot next season. But we shouldn’t count on that from the Buffalo Sabres because they are just kids after all at 21 to 41 years old right that is just nuts have standards Buffalo and have more opportunities for winning teams by allowing more sports teams into this market. Again the 1975 Buffalo Sabres never made the Stanley Cup Finals after making it real young. That is a myth older players get stronger slow and broken down. I didn’t think New York Islanders arena looked gorgeous it looked like a shrine to the horse racing industry and a lot of horsing around nah. What about the Buffalo Bills fans that have health issues? What about the fact Erie County is a aging area of the country? Does that matter? You are trying to make it like it’s a tough guy thing or badge of honor. I went in blizzards back when I was healthy enough not just for the Buffalo Bills but the UB Bulls. The Buffalo Bisons were the best because you could get window seats in the restaurant to get around the freezing April cold weather. I once froze so badly at the Buffalo Bills game against the San Diego Chargers I couldn’t move my hand to make my power chair work. I had gloves on my brother in law thankfully had a blanket he bought he was using to put on my hand so I could get back to the car. And it sucked to battle the weather weekly as a Buffalo Bills and UB Bulls season ticket holder. I didn’t feel it was badge of honor at all. Again not all of us are in the same situation. It’s cold at these games and also for fans like me who are disabled in Power Wheelchairs we have to watch how much rain because it’s a power chair. I once had my power chair die at UB Stadium on the walk back at the end of the game because of nasty weather Miami Ohio RedHawks game with Ben Roelisburger it was a blizzard in the second half. Again sit in cold isn’t no badge of Buffalo honor. I only have been to one dome stadium football game ever the International Bowl Game in Toronto for the UB Bulls and I loved not freezing not having to layer on tons of clothes that isn’t enjoyable it’s a pain in my opinion. If Terry Pegula just wanted a football stadium he could have built it himself or renovated Highmark Stadium with a dome so no one would have to waste money on heated seats that aren’t very efficient or environmentally friendly. I thought the Pegula’s were all hip for today’s environmentally friendly New York State. Wasting heat into the outside seems like a waste of energy and resources for the environmental New York State but what do I know I am old and I don’t know what I am talking about according to some Bills fans. If the Buffalo Bills were reducing the capacity anyway remove the falling deck reducing the number of seats so the Bills get there reduced seating capacity to screw the Bills fan anyway which is what this is really all about if we have our Bills fans eyes open. But unfortunately some Bills fans eyes on there beer can instead of having there eyes on there wallet. Terry Pegula is going all Jerry Jones now ask Dallas Cowboys fans that got kicked out because of the cost of PSL’s when they moved from old Texas Stadium. Move the Highmark Stadium gate build a shell around the currant Highmark Stadium. Then a BC Lions Vancouver Whitecaps BC Place Stadium dome over Highmark Stadium would have worked and Buffalo would have gotten there down stadium with good sight lights in Orchard Park. What’s the difference BSF? The difference is a dome so we don’t freeze and it can be used for more than 10 times a year. I would also have removable Highmark Stadium seats in the renovation so Highmark Stadium can host Toronto Blue Jays exhibition games yearly in the Highmark Stadium dome. So your not getting a 10 football games and nothing else facility for $1.5 billion dollars is just ridiculous waste of resources. I will bet the ranch the sight lines will suck in the new Bills stadium compared to Highmark Stadium. Because of building codes today and Highmark Stadium was grandfathered when they put the chair back seating in. I think it’s ironic the Buffalo Bills tailgate crowd is grabbing onto the new Buffalo Bills stadium because it’s open air and in Orchard Park. And there are so many things they assume they are getting in the new Bills stadium that they most likely won’t be getting. And at the end of day when it’s too late they will howl the most because they will be the first ones in line to be suckered into PSL’s oh well get your popcorn ready to watch the show in my opinion. Being a Buffalo Bills fan has nothing to do with liking or not liking the current Bills owner Terry Pegula who I think is incompetent bum who can’t win the big game with all the sports teams he owns which is hard to do. Example Terry Pegula owns two lacrosse teams Buffalo Bandits for 12 years and the Rochester Knighthawks for 2 years in a 15 team NLL and yet he can’t win a championship. Doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in Terry Pegula the Buffalo Bills owner because regardless of the new Bills stadium he doesn’t know what he is doing as a sports team owner.
