  1. YES!!! Brown sucks badly. He's a turnstile for a man of that size. It's a shame. I'm going to go easy on Bernard because Beane Brought in Kirksey. He will be starting by week 3. I'll give Cook a few more games. Yes, he went down on contact, but he also was quick to the hole and made some nice runs. As some posters mentioned, the delayed draws are great for him.
  2. I feel bad that Rodgers career ends like this. Yeah, he's made millions, but the greats love to go out on their own terms and this is a ***** way to end a career.
  3. Tua, Hill and Waddle are a great combination. Sorry but Tua when healthy has been pretty damn good. No one in this division is a pushover. We will have to play solid and earn it.
  4. Fires, hurricanes, snowstorms, etc.. will have a big effect on games this year. Then we have serious injuries which are becoming too common, unfortunately. Then add in the new variant "scare" for covid and this fall is going to be epic. I just hope the NFL doesn't screw with us too much.
  5. The run blocking was much improved today Cook had some nice holes up the middle and we got push. Pass pro was adequate except for a few plays. Evans over 6.0 yds per carry and Ty Johnson and Cook about 5. We enforced our will when we were up and able to run clock and keep the chains moving. I really wish we would have offered more for Lance. Kyle Allen is not a great backup QB although he made a few good throws.
  6. You can share up to 6 devices from one address and 2 additional outside the house so you can have up to 3 homes on a family plan. That's what we got.
  7. I don't think that's the case. With a suspect OL, all they need Rodgers to do is be a smart game manager and make good throws when he has to. Hall/Cook/Bam are the best RB combo in the NFL. We saw what Chubb/Hunt did in Cleveland with a horrid Baker. Plus the Jets have a superstar in Garret Wilson. The Jets OL is not great in pass pro, but they are BIG and strong. They are going to push and jam it down your throat and when you stack the line to take that away, Rodgers has reliable hands in Cobb, Lazard who already know his tendencies. They will be a safety valve to keep the chains moving, while defenses try to double or move a safety over to account for Wilson. Rodgers won't make the bad passes that Zach Wilson did. He won't take the dumb sacks. He won't miss the open throws. That's all they need. They don't need a Josh to make superstar plays to bail them out. They need a consistent, smart QB that eliminates mistakes and doesn't turn the ball over. With that strong defense, it allows the offense to play with control. Don't sleep on them. The Jets have closed the gap and the Bills have to bring their A game to beat them. I give them #2 in the East with Miami not too far behind. Miami's defense should improve and they have game breakers on offense. New England will play similar to the Jets on offense battering defenses with big RB's Stephenson and Elliot. Billy goat runs a good D. The Bills can go 4-2 in this division or 2-4. I do not see a 6-0 sweep this year. I hope for it, but it is far from a given.
  8. Yeah,, but everyone made good moves. I think it will be the toughest division in football.
  9. All I can say is if the Jets sign Dalvin Cook, watch out! They are loaded on D and if the offense comes into form, they will be a tough out. Steamrolling them is on my wishlist, but it's going to be a battle.
  10. How long before Allen needs a new deal. they might have to reset every year at this ridiculous pace, especially if we win the SuperBowl or just go.
  11. A third round pick. Fits the mold of what Beane loves. Got to love that 3rd round for RBs.
  12. I'm sure that insurance will cover the salary.
  13. They wanted to cover all three tiers of quarterbacking. Mahomes as the superstar. Cousins as the middle of the road and Mariota as the bottom. It's more interesting that way, instead of just leaching on to the stars. I watched the whole series. It was enjoyable to see the way all three prepare. And respect for Mahomes. That kid is a beast. His core strength, body and arm flexibility, pain tolerance and desire to win is admirable. I like Josh better, but he is a hell of a QB
  14. It's on their O-line and run game. If they give Rodgers time and can effectively control the ground game, look out AFC East. Jets win 11-12+ But if the old boy is under pressure all the time and teams can stop the run, the Jets will be a 8-10 win team. I don't see them being worse with that tough defense.
  15. I'm disappointed every year we don't win a Super Bowl. It's heart-breaking. The four falls is still on my mind. But it's sure a lot easier watching this version of Buffalo football compared to the Rex, Marrone, Jauron eras. We've really only had 3 coaches who brought consistent success to Buffalo (Phillips, Levy and McD.) It's nice to have that now.
  16. I'm glad he's doing better. I wish he could have reached his potential in Buffalo but the adjustment was just too much at the time. He wasn't ready. I had forgotten Cupp was still on the board at the time. Now I'm flashing back to Troup over Gronk. We've really had some bad, bad drafts.
  17. When you have a roster as talented as ours top to bottom, cap management is going to come into play, especially with a top 5 QB on his second contract.I think he's done a great job. I suffered through a lot of bad, bad years of Bills football and this is only the second time in my life where we've had a Super Bowl contender for multiple years. It's fun watching Bills football again.
  18. They deserve it. Last year was an abberation. Just freaky bad luck. I personally think we had a great off-season, especially with the cap situation. I'm excited to see what the year brings.
  19. Good catch. I like the color and concept but something felt off. It was the lion. Looked too tame for football. And you're right, the body just looks like cheap clipart instead of art.
  20. I was really hoping you went this way. It's tradition. https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/000/515/peter_flies2_adj_680h.jpg
  21. I thought Marshawn Lynch could behave in Buffalo and understood how traffic lights work. I also thought Travis Henry could remain celibate and get 1200 yards and 10 touchdowns annually. I guess it's an RB thing. I thought OJ was a role model. The only RB who did me good was Freddie.
