  1. Didn’t Josh & Buffalo just have a turnover free game on Monday?
  2. Did he just have a concussion or a stinger? I’ve read players are kept out for both. Edit to say never mind. The injury report does say concussion.
  3. When thinking about playing KC in the playoffs, how can you say Allen’s always had very good defenses! Allen led Buffalo to 2 TD drives that put Buffalo in the lead AFTER the 2 minute warning and we still lost the game in OT! Any kind of defensive stop by Buffalo late in the game & Allen’s performance in that game would be called an all time great playoff performance. The entire perspective of Bills vs Chiefs would be different.
  4. It’s hard to have more negative takes on Buffalo than this guy. It’s an ignorant take. No one knows what next season will bring or the season after, etc. As long as we have Josh Allen at QB & Brandon Beane as GM, we will be a threat to win it all. Remember this fool’s declaration on Buffalo’s demise 6 weeks ago. He’s not any smarter today.
  5. As a Buffalo fan, I hope that Miami fans like this guy & especially the Miami front office keep thinking this way!
  6. The 2 MVPs tonight go to Josh Allen &….Bills Mafia! Josh was great again in a playoff game. I couldn’t believe he turned on the jets & ran away from the Steelers DBs. Josh played under control and distributed the ball well. After reading people talk over the last couple days that with the horrible weather and the stands full of snow, we’d have a small crowd & lose a lot of our home field advantage. How wrong they were! Bills fans showed up in huge numbers, cleaned the snow off their own seats & roared as loud as ever! Great job Bills mafia!,
  7. I will agree with NBC on this: Allen Harty Rapp
  8. Today was payback for the unfair Buffalo “home game “ in London, where the NFL experimented on letting one team get an extra week to adjust to the transcontinental flight & time change. It’s only fitting that Jacksonville’s elimination loss puts Buffalo in the playoffs!
  9. The stakes for this game are even more than just our potential outcomes. We’re also playing a team who is trying to win the same division title. I wonder how many of those 6 or 7 occasions included the opponent being a division rival with the division title on the line. I consider today to be the first round of the playoffs for Buffalo. I know Josh & the team say they’ve approached the last 4 games with that mindset. However, today really has a playoff feel to the game! I’m just happy to see the Bills playing meaningful , prime time national games in January! Go Bills!
  10. Some of these posters appear to be rooting for a Bills loss so they can blame Josh. The narrative that Josh doesn’t play well in big games is bs. The 13 second game was as clutch a playoff performance as any Bills QB ever.
  11. One stat to add to my post: In Diggs first 3 seasons in Buffalo, around 50% of his targets ended up being first downs or touchdowns. This season it’s around 40%. BTW Davis this season is around 50% & Shakir is abnormally high at around 60%. There are many factors that influence that stat, but overall I believe it shows a below average success ratio on targeting Diggs. I think we’re forcing the ball to him too much.
  12. I think one problem with Allen’s passing this season is the over emphasis on trying to get the ball to Diggs. We need to just find the open receiver, regardless of who it is. I know Diggs is WR1, but he doesn’t always get open. I know he gets angry when he thinks he’s under utilized, but that’s just the way it is sometimes. I completely agree we need to make our first pick next April a WR, if there’s a good one available.
  13. Belichick told McDermott “I hope you beat that hipster dufus Dolphin coach next week “!
  14. I’m glad I’m not a Seattle fan. What a weak defensive team.
  15. Seattle (like a lot of teams today) seems to believe tackling (attempting to tackle) at shoulder level is a good idea.
  16. Also, late in the first half he not only turned in when he could have gone out of bounds to stop the clock, he also stepped backwards and didn’t take the first down he could have easily made. Diggs was trying to turn it into a bigger play, but we ended up having to punt. I think Diggs has been underperforming for the last several games.
  17. Everything I’ve read says Chiefs haven’t clinched yet. Broncos can still catch them.
  18. McDermott is the head coach & should take responsibility for having 12 men on the field. However, it’s amazing to think you would have to remind professional football players who is supposed to be on the field for field goal defense. Denver had already kicked 3 field goals in the game!
  19. I agree with the thread title, other than 6 words that need to be added: This team never makes a big stop….with the game on the line. I don’t know if this started with 13 seconds or it just intensified with 13 seconds. But, the Buffalo defense rarely makes a stop with the game on the line. My son texted me before our last offensive drive started and predicted the exact final score. I had just told my wife the exact same thing. We have seen this multiple times: Josh & the offense drive late & give us the lead, followed by the defense giving up a game ending score. This happens when we have bad defensive games and it happens in games ( like last night) when we have good defensive games.
  20. It used be a Leslie Frazier problem, but Josh always got the blame. BTW, it’s awesome that Stroud & Houston just came back & won it anyway!
  21. Does anyone remember that game where Josh Allen threw 2 interceptions in the 4th quarter to keep the Bills down by 2 scores. Then the Bills defense forced a big turnover to create an easy TD & then forced a 3 & out to get Buffalo a chance to win at the end? I don’t remember it either. Burrow is nothing but lucky today.
  22. So, we’re 2-3 when Davis has 35 receiving yards or less. We’re 3-1 when he has more than 35 receiving yards. Not laying the blame for lack of yardage solely on Davis, but there’s a stat to keep an eye on.
  23. That’s how I saw it. We held Cincinnati until it was a one score game. Then their offense looked like their first 2 drives. I think if Kincaid had not fumbled and we scored on that earlier drive, Cincinnati would’ve scored after our score. I would have been very surprised if we actually stopped them when it was a one score game in the second half. Also, I have to admit, Cincinnati’s coach doesn’t fall into the “playing not to lose” mindset that many coaches fall into.
  24. We actually started well, on offense. Then, we decided we needed to establish the run on first down and completely changed the wide open play calling that worked on the first drive.
